Coming from the Pacoima location where our reservation was refused by an unprofessional manager and several unpleasant issues along the way, we ended up at the Sun Valley office. By all rights Heidy, the front desk employee should have locked the door upon our arrival. We were hot, tired, and had complaining teens throughout our experience. Heidy had no clue what she was in for when she informed us of her location not having what we needed. A typical employee would have said just about anything to get any upset customer out the door. However, Heidy took the extra step and checked the morning log she had initially not seen as it had been busy. Thankfully a customer checked out of a unit that was exactly what we initially reserved in Pacoima. Finally, Heidy put our 2 1/2 hr. fiasco to an end. Not once was she unprofessional but rather was sympathetic of our escapade. By the end of our experience, we had smiles on our faces as she did from the moment she first greeted us. Heidy truly is an asset to this company and I honestly thank her for making a terrible incident into not only a tolerable one, but a pleasant experience as well. Although I would love to give this location 5 stars because of Heidy alone, I wasnt aware that the gates are on a timer and lock from both sides, preventing anyone to drive in or out after 9pm. I learned this the hard way. Trust, NOBODY will come to unlock the gates. Their is no magical button to let you out either. Be prepared to wait until 6am to be released!

We all know moving is crappy BUT anyone who is able to help me stay sane during this process is worth giving props to. OMAR is professional, very knowledgeable, and polite! He deserves way more than 5 stars! Make sure you go to him for whatever you need. The only negative I can report is that I had to be out of my apt by 9am so i started taking my things to the storage only for the manager to have my storage unit completely blocked with his TRUCK! Which caused me to NOT be able to move my items by the appropriate time. I couldnt unload my car so I stuffed it until I couldnt anymore and waiting for the office to open. Why the manager wouldnt park in a designated parking spot...idk But he couldve easily checked to make sure it wasnt rented out. But he clearly didnt care! For that exact reason...I gotta give this place 3 stars. And that is literally because of OMAR and his awesome service. Thank you so much!!

Bait and switch. Incomplete refund. I reserved a unit online and was shown a unit by Tania. I said i would take the unit (it was close to an existing unit i had here). My credit card was charged and then i was shown an agreement to sign. When i read the papers another unit i had never seen was on the agreement. i was told that i had to take "whatever the computer " said to take.i declined to take this other unit and asked for a refund. i was told that only the "central office" could make a check refund in 4-6 weeks. Still waiting for a complete refund - a partial refund was issued but no refund for $9 insurance $19.61 for lock and $22 admin fee. The locks used here are a weird cylinder lock that apparently can only be used here. So dont bring your own padlock. PS. i talked to "Tom" the regional manager and got tthe same runaround.

My overall experience was great! I was in need of a storage place for my stuff, chose this Public Storage, and reserved a unit online. After reserving a unit, I immediately received a call from this location confirming my reservation which was awesome. When I arrived, I met Carolyn, who had anticipated my arrival, which was announced. She was super friendly, showed interest in my storage needs in regards to the size of the unit, and very expedient with the process. The next day as I finished moving in my things, Carolyn came out and checked in to see how things were going, which was nice. She even remembered my name. This place has exceeded my expectations. Keep up the great work everybody!

Moving is hard enough as it is and the last thing anyone needs is poor customer service. However, I received just the opposite of that at the Glenoaks Ave. location. The one person I always seemed to catch behind the desk everytime I went in was an employee named Heidy. She is the reason that doing business there has been as pleasant as anyone could ask for. She has always been kind and patient. And with any question I might have, she has always been incredibly knowledgable and articulate. She just always exudes a great energy! She knows her job and she does it exceptionally well! So I just wanted to say thank you, Heidy for making my experience at your site a really wonderful one!!

I recommend this location to every person or business that needs a storage unit , especially the location in sun valley and do not forget to ask for gabby , the desk manager , she is so professional , energetic , and would not let you make decisions based on the pictures you see on their website she will show you all units so you can spend your money the right way . She will bring you back to her office and try to get you the best deal for the boxes you need . That was my experience with this location and thanks a lot for their employee Gabby that made me get out happy and knowing that my office stuff will be in a good hands . Thanks Gabby.

I have membership with storage on glenoks Blvd and I recommend to you that just deal with heidy as best customer service in California much better than other the workers .. She is very professional and high education lady that she knows how supposed to be talk and deal with customers... I have membership over 3 months and only im happy with her beacuse her add to and best customer service and important thing is at any business except education is how supposed to be deal and make satisfaction customers.... I believe she knows how to deal ... Beacuse always she is caring with any customers,,,

My experience at Public storage has been great! I probably asked Heidi a thousand questions during my time there, but she always had an answer for everything! I will no longer need storage but these past 6 months were great! I felt secure at this location and if I ever need storage again I know where to go! Specially since Heidi is so pleasant and funny. She always went above and beyond to help me out. Thanks for your help Heidi. (you see, I kept my promise and wrote an awesome review lol)

I was looking for a storage unit for next month. Irma asked me a few questions then showed me a unit. She is very friendly and knowledgeable. I dont need my unit until next month but I will come back to rent from her when Im ready to move from my apt. Next month. I wasnt specting this great customer service when it comes down to getting a storage. Great people....good clean facility.
