Some people, given the tiniest bit of authority, just know how to suck the joy out of everyone they deal with. The manager here is such a person. He delights, really delights, in small wins in tiny battles he initiates and that only he cares about. He once told me my phone was dying, for instance. I said (wondering why he thought this was jovial conversation) that actually, no it was not. He said well it wasnt *his* phone that was dying. I rolled my eyes and told him that the phone I had called him on did not belong to me. That was the last of many straws and I told him I was leaving at the end of the month. Apparently in his world this requires a form. I have rented dozens of storage units and tho all such facilities appreciate advance notice of departure, none of them REQUIRE a form. But no, nothing would do but I must, must, mind you, fill out this silly little piece of paper. On a prior occasion he told me that I could not have a candy from the dish on the counter (one of those little red and white mints everyone gives away) because my payment was late, even though he was processing payment in full at the very instant he said that. Boy, thatll teach *me*. I could go on but this guy is not worth the frown lines. Go elsewhere. I wish I had. There are plenty of storage places in Santa Cruz County -- why burden your days with the tawdry little annoyance that dealing with this guy will be if you give him any kind of chance?

man!! the process was super fast. Kevin asked me four questions on our way to see the storage and figured really quick what I need. to confirm he asked whether the storage was what i was looking for. he offered me locks or other stuff i could need but nothing like pushing like at other places. it was very cool and very profesional. When I was going to drop my stuff my lock didnt fit and I went really quick to the office and the lady, who was there, was closing late because a little issue with one storage room. She acted really nice, I explained her what happened and the she opened the door I sold me a lock. I am saying this because it was 6:30pm and she supposed to leave at 6:00pm. She was very cool and caring. Again I am sure I picked the right place for my stuff. Customer service is great. They care about our stuff which is super important. If you want to storage your stuff this is the right place. I feel relieved because I feel my stuff is safe here.

First time renting a storage unit a little nervous to leave my personal belonging in a storage unit . Heard many stories of friends having issues with there Storge stores . Did a lot of researching . I needed asap my mom was able to call the Santa Cruz store give them all my information to rent in watsonville. after Wk I was able to go to the watsonville store and they had me in system . Gave me all info unneeded for my unit . Manger was very customer service friendly answer all my hundred question I can ask questions lots lol . I walked away feeling like i had picked the best place in town . Customer service is big to me I give the manger a 100% it shows she cares about her job and her clients . Only thing Is wish they had a cart for each unit :) other then that I am a Happy customer :)

I was thoroughly pleased with my experience renting storage here. I was given the right space for my belongings, which were dry and free of any mold. It was a convenient location with easy, safe access. Paula was very pleasant to talk with on the day I moved out. I could see by the other renters that came through that Paula had made friends with many of them, including me. I highly recommend storing your belongings with Extra Space Storage.

I have been renting one of their smaller units for the past three months and I have been very satisfied with the service I have encountered. There was always a friendly staff member at the front desk and the grounds + units were kept tidy. The store manager ,Jessica Gomez, very often asked me how I am doing and whether I am satisfied with my storage unit. Overall, good storage units and friendly onsite staff.

I am so satisfied with the quality of this storage facility, everything I need to store fit perfectly in the provided spaces. The employees are very knowledgeable and polite. The green doors also attracted me to this location. I almost always forget my code to get in and I have to call the front office at least once a month. They are understanding and look up my code every time. Amazing staff.

Loved it.Seriously, great service though, zero problems with this place. I had an awesome experience. had to upgrade my unit, and the staff there were awesome. Customer service was top notch! I would recommend this location to everybody out there. I also feel my property is safe and kept in a control environment. Thank you Extra Space Storage!!

If you have the chance to rent a space from Jamie, youll have a better day. She went far beyond necessities to genuinely help us. Moving is a hassle, but with someone like Jamie on the other end, its a much more pleasant experience than it would otherwise be. I cant recommend her and Extra Space highly enough.

Patty at the front desk was great!!! The place was very clean and has 24hr survaliance. She made it easy for us to choose this unit. Her knowledge and great customer service sold us the unit. She was easy to talk to and was extremely friendly. I will recommend this to family and friends in the area.
