The staff has been very helpful making 2 moves go easier. We had a 53 truckload coming from the mid-west and were able to get the truck in the right place and have it unloaded in less than 3 hours. My other storage unit (10x10) works great for me because it provides me with a lot more cubic feet than most other places Ive been. Its on the 3rd floor and is a little cheaper to rent, but I"m not there all the time so that is not an issue. The only issue I have is the elevator door sometimes will get stuck on the 3rd floor and will not come down. But they will be addressing this issue soon. Also, if you have your own home owners or renters insurance, make sure to get them a copy up front or they will automatically charge you $10 extra per month as they say its "required". I gave them my copy and now Im not being charged the extra fee. The gate hours are great, much better than most (6am-10pm). And they have flat carts which help a lot going inside the buildings. I wish they could put more light upstairs, more so inside the units with a timer. I have to use a battery operated lantern to get a good view of anything I need to work on while inside. Overall, I would recommend the place. Their prices are reasonable and seems to be very secure place.

Kim and Eduardo were perfect. I cannot give this place enough stars. My wife and I were frantically searching for a storage unit, and we contacted Extra Space Storage online. Their customer service was outstanding. When we arrived at the location Eduardo was ready and waiting. He showed us the unit we had picked out, and explained the benefits of the unit, showed us that although we were on the 2nd floor, it was easy to maneuver the items we planned on storing. He answered all questions we had, and responded and addressed all concerns. My wife wanted to see other units, and he took the time to go and show us two additional units. He was incredibly patient throughout the whole process. He said something a long the lines of, "Moving is stressful enough, we want to make it as stress-free as possible." They really do just that at Extra Space storage. When we arrived back in the office to sign documentation, Kim recognized my wife from her voice on the phone, and remembered her name and their conversation from before. She specifically asked if a concern she expressed over the phone had been addressed. Great customer service. Very clean facility. Very good price.

Weve only been storing there for less than a month but as storage places go we have found the staff very helpful and friendly. The facility is kept clean, plenty of moving carts available, and quick operating elevator....Big Plus there! Our space was clean and ready to be filled. Two thumbs up for the staff and facility!! As for Management....The prices are reasonable but we were surprised about the required earthquake insurance and we didnt care too much for that. Nothing was mentioned by the phone staff and nothing on the webpage mentions this requirement, only the monthly rate. In order to compare facilities prices with other companies, something about this requirement should be clearly noted on the webpage because its sort of a bait and switch and faults advertising. Just a suggestion but most folks really dont care for hidden fees like this. Had this information been clearly noted on the webpage (Near the Pricing), Wed given you 5 Stars....

As a first timer using a storage facility, I didnt really know what to expect. Id seen many a small, dingy-looking facility driving around the city, but Extra Space Storage has met all of my cleanliness, safety, accessibility, and price standards. Their website was particularly useful in helping me decide what size of unit I needed, since it has an interactive feature that lets you visualize the items that could fit in a 5 x 5 space, etc. From there on, the process of making a reservation online, planning move-in, etc, was very smooth, as staff were quick to contact me and answer any questions. I had a person call me back on the same day after booking my online reservation! I have always felt safe and felt that my stuff is safe here. The 4 stars instead of 5 is for the lighting in the hall were my unit is located; lights were broken and went unfixed for a long time, so I had to use a flashlight.

I made a reservation for my unit in the morning and received a call from Paul at Extra Space maybe about 5 minutes later. He was extremely professional and he had such a happy disposition and was so accommodating. Once I got to the storage site, he was on the phone but he made sure to acknowledge my friend and I right away. Once he was done, we were shown the unit and given all the information that I needed. I was impressed with how clean the property is and very happy with my unit price as well as the efficiency of Paul, as he is the only one I have dealt with so far. I cannot express just exactly how amazing at customer service he is and I sincerely hope that the management takes a look at Paul and his professional demeanor. First month in and I am very happy!

Christie Bedard greeted me when I came I after moving and needed a storage unit fast... her office and location is very clean and smelled like a bed bath and beyond but it might have just been Christie. She was very professional and answered all my questions. She showed me a unit that fit my needs and was very personable and offered to show me a few other units. I was sold... we went back to sign the contract and I was in a hurry and asked her if she can expedite the process and she did... I was in and out in under 30 mins and left feeling great about my decision to choose Extra space storage. Also was greeted by Kim another warm face and I would recommend Christie and her staff to anyone in the area!! Thanks girls for keeping my stuff safe and secure.

this praticular Extra space storage is fantastic. Clean, private, easy access, elevators, carts, good security, clean restrooms, No hassle billing experience with month to month lease. The staff -( Ill use their initials for privacy) Kim and Christy are absolutely brilliant, nice, understanding and thrive to be helpful and never shy to go the extra mile to ensure a superb service...I Wouldnt hesitate to use this branch again.. Highly recommended if you need storage.. Just make sure you have the basic ability to follow few rules that are in place to maintain the place and keep it in the great shape that it is... Otherwise... Trust me youll get there boot faster than a rabbit gets....... Well.. You get it

This is the second Extra Space Storage property unit that I have used. One was in San Diego and now this one in Garden Grove. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The grounds are well maintained. I was previously on the second floor and opted to pay extra for a first floor unit this time. It is so much easier to manage and manuever when you dont have to use the elevator, too. The hours are great and being able to manage my account on line is adventageous. It is too bad that some tenants are too lazy to remove their trash and just leave it in front of someone elses locker so that tenant is blamed. I would recommend ESS to everyone I know who needs short or long term storage.
