Went in to just drop off a return item with a prepaid label. The guy working (at 3pm) had 3 of us in line. The first guy was waiting to pay, the guy working the counter kept going on and on with him. He ended up taking his documents to the other counter to finish. The next guy in front of me had a box packed and ready to ship. The worker said he thought the item needed to be repacked, clearly the guy didnt agree. So, he gave him the info for the shipping label and the worker told him to verify the information was correct, the guy said that he had put in the recipients last name incorrect. The worker printed the label and the guy said again the name was incorrect, so the worker corrected it with a pen. Then started to blame the customer for not verifying the information, saying something about being left handed. So, now its my turn, just dropping off a package with a prepaid label. The worker asked me what was in the box, I told him it wasnt his concern. He said it was and wanted to know what was in the box, I told him I just wanted to drop off the package and get a drop off receipt. He moved a sign out of the way showing me a hazardous item sign, he said he had to know what was in the package. I said he didnt ask me if there were hazardous materials in the package, then I told him there was nothing hazardous in the package. Then he shook the package and said he couldnt ship it because it didnt sound packaged very well. I informed him that I was returning the items with more packing material in the box than I received them with and I packed the parcel (its not a fragile item). He said he would be responsible if the items were damaged, I said that was incorrect as I packaged the parcel and I would be responsible. I was just returning an item in the exact same box I received the item in with more packing material. He refused the parcel and I started to walk out, clearly upset. He started to comment back to me on his responsibility with receiving packages. I turned around looked at him and said he was done, to take the next lady in line. I drove away to another place about 2 miles away, walked in they took the package gave me a drop off receipt and I was out the door in less than 3 minutes. 20+ minutes in the FedEx location with nothing but aggravation to go up the street, 3 minutes I was in and out with my parcel accepted, guess where Ill be going next time (PostNet on Hampden)...

I walk in and ask if this location offers binding services, I have an interview tomorrow. I need my resume, letter of intent, performance materials bound and looking professional. I spent $27 printing my materials. I walk up to the counter and their star employee, Spencer, is looking at the computer screen. I know he is their star employee because its 7pm and hes the only guy in the store. So Im at the counter and Spencer says nothing. Hes looking intently at his computer screen. I set my 150 pages down on the counter with a *thud*. Nothing. Spencer puts his head in his hands and he is looking real hard at the computer and then at a shipping label. Then the computer, then the label. Im thinking someone must have wanted to ship a package to Io, one of Saturns moons, because this guy is so puzzled by this label! Still, Spencer cant even glance away from the computer long enough to say, "sir Ill be just another moment and then Im here to help." I am at this point making the most awkward attempt at eye contact I can possibly make. You know that feeling you get when someone is looking at you? Spencer doesnt. I cleared my throat and asked him, "can you help me?" Spencer quietly said - because he was in deep concentration trying to calculate shipping rates for FedEx OuterSpace - "no, not yet." I walked out into the rain with my papers and took my business elsewhere.

This fedex always has something to say about my packaging and tries to charge me 3.99 for inserting kraft paper for filler. I sell a lot of items online and I make sure that my packages are packed great because I cant afford to have my items break. For example i was mailing photo paper packaged in its original packaging inside boxes, inside another box. So they were triple protected. Actually this box was delivered by fedex to my warehouse. I never opened it until i went to ship it again to a customer. This location hassled me about how they could hear moving in the box! I opened the box and showed them exactly what was in it. They wanted to charge me the 3.99 to put one piece of kraft paper in it. If you were to see this package you would be utterly confused why they were worrying about it. I go in here very often and it seems like I have to open and explain the contents every time! Its annoying. I sometimes will drive further just to take it to another location. But other locations are actually starting to be the same way. I will now avoid fedex as much as I can. I actually now prefer the Post office over fedex. I never thought I would say that, but I dread going to fedex.

I just called Fedex and spoke to a woman named Monique. I was looking for a specialty paper for a specialty print. Monique informed me she was pretty sure she didnt carry the specialty paper. I asked her if she could find out for sure, then she informed me she was really sure, I asked her if she knew anywhere that did carry the paper, her response was "We dont carry the paper sir" I responded "Well thats funny I just had this printed at a Fedex 1 week ago" She then decided to put me on hold and came back with the information of a Fedex that does carry this specialty paper. Not only did I not feel like a customer at the end of this conversation, I felt like a police officer in an interrogation room attempting to get information out of a teenager. If your going to use Fedex do yourself a favor and drive to Fedex 8330 Willow St Lonetree CO 80124 They will make you feel like a customer. As for you Monique I apologize for taking time out of your busy schedule, and you wont ever have to worry about it happening again.

WOW. Brought in a box here to ship. Packaged very good! Was asked what was in it, which I hate because of theft concerns. I did explain what it was with some hesitation. I then was told I cannot use "recycled boxes". I had used a box I had something shipped from amazon. The lady explained that if has been used to ship once then it cannot be used again even if there is no damage. This box was in great shape with no damage. Im very picky how I ship my items. Just like other reviewers have expressed, you cannot go in here without being ridiculed. I went down the street and dropped it off at another location with no problem at all. They took it with a smile. Item arrived undamaged and with no problem. Maybe this location just does not want business? They are giving Fedex a bad name.
