Subject: 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid, light blue color. - some dents & dings - tons of surface scratches - dirty head lamps - some rust on the trunk lid - bent front bumper 4 days in the shop....Great looking finish, all repairs completed and looks beautiful! Overall, I give Steve Cole a big hug for not trying to impress but say it like it is. I didnt expect a perfect paint and body work job. I expected an 8/10 and received a 9.5/10. There were a few blotchy/rough spots but considering my vehicle is 10 years old, I left this Maaco shop knowing that I could return with confidence. I didnt ASK or EXPECT to have every single dent/scratch or paint peel fixed. Steve and his crew when above and beyond to make my Honda look better than what was quoted (line item) on work order. Bottom line > If you want good/great results (not perfect) for paint (and some body work) job for a not so perfect vehicle, go to Maaco. There are many other paint/body work shops out there and most charge a hefty price for a mediocre job. I did get a quote and looked at some of the work other shops produce in the Denver metro area. You get what you pay for! Take a tour of the shop, spend some time talking with the owner if they are available, and look at some of the work completed. If your looking for a cheap paint and cheap body work, do it yourself. If you want better than a DIY, give Maaco a chance. I cannot speak for or endorse all Maaco locations, only this location.

The paint job was fine. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I took my car in on a Thursday, they ordered a new bumper for it, they were going to paint it and said they would give me a call on Tuesday to install it. The next Friday, I finally got a voicemail from Steve saying "Your bumper is painted and ready to put on. Call me back to schedule a time for us to install it." I called back, Steve answered, told me that my bumper had not been painted yet and it was not ready yet. When I asked why he left me a message saying that it was ready, he told me that no one ever called. He then got really defensive, saying things like "Youre more than welcome to come look at your bumper, but I know how to tell if something has been painted." I understand if theyre busy, but I just wanted to know why I got a message addressing me by my full name, clearly stating that it was done. He got increasingly upset with me. He told me it would be ready the next Tuesday. I got a call the next Thursday saying it was done. Finally, this time, the information was correct. Will never return to this location due to the horrible customer service I experienced.

I WENT TO THIS SHOP AND HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS TO SAY I WENT TO ANOTHER SHOP WHO PAINTED THE WHOLE CAR I RECEIVED IT BACK WITH HORRIBLE BUFFER SWIRLS ALL OVER THE WHOLE CAR WHAT A RIP OFF . WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN . WELL NOW WHY I WENT TO THE AURORA MAACO SOMETIMES YOU TRY A LITTLE TO HARD NOT SCRATCH YOUR PAINT AND MURPHYS LAW TAKES EFFECT TRYING NOT TO PARK TO CLOSE TO ANOTHER CAR I CAUGHT A HIGH CURB 5 WEEKS AFTER FRESH PAINT JOB I CRACKED THE FIBERGLASS PRETTY BAD AND CHIPPED THE PAINT PRETTY BAD I TOOK IT TO THEM AND TOLD THEM I JUST HAD IT PAINTED SO I DIDNT HAVE ALOT OF MONEY WELL THEY WORKED WITH ME AND WHEN I GOT MY CAR BACK WOW NOT ONLY DID THEY FIX THE DAMAGE THE FIXED OTHER IMPERFECTIONS I DIDNT ASK THEM TO DO . I HAVE TO SAY THE BAD PART IS THE FRONT AIR DAM LOOKS BETTER THEN THEY WHOLE CAR NOW . IN CONCLUSION IT MIGHT SOUND CRAZY BUT HITTING THAT CURB WAS ACTUALLY A GOOD THING BECAUSE IT HELP FIND A GREAT PAINT SHOP YOU DONT KNOW HOW MANY TIMES IVE BEEN RIPPED OFF . I HAVE MULTIPLE CARS I KNOW WHOS GOING TO BE DOING MY OTHER CARS .

If ever I need a car repair again (hopefully, this will not be the case), I will definitely be returning to this shop. My Toyota Highlander was sideswiped, leaving a significant dent on the left fender and scratch all the way through the paint to the metal below. I first got a quote at Aurora Collision Center and they told me it would be over $760+ and in addition, they charged $25 just for conducting the quote. I decided to search around for a better price. I found this Maaco and the manager, Steve, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He did not try to oversell me and was honest at every turn. Not only was the quote free, but they quoted me $150 cheaper than the other shop for the exact same work. I was able to schedule my appointment and drop-off my car within 4 days of getting the quote and they had my SUV fixed within 2 days. An incredibly quick turnaround! The quality of work is excellent. You cant tell where the body of my car was hit. The paint looks marvelous and blends perfectly with the rest of the car. You would never be able to tell it was damaged.

Mediocre craftsmanship, customer service is questionable, but the pricing was fair. My mirror got clipped by a truck in the beginning of the summer, so when I got my new mirror I had to get the front of it painted like before. I take it to maaco because I heard they were good with paint. Anyways, they paint it, and the color is off, there is dirt in the paint finish, and the clear coat is not even on the edges of the mirror, just bare paint! They cant do anything about it after calling their customer service line & and the place itself for reasons they seemed to not want to tell me. And then there is the guy at the front desk. What an attitude he has, little to no respect for the customers in front of me or myself he just wanted to get me out of his face. Maybe the guy was having a bad day or it was just simple human error in painting it. Either way, I think this shop needs to review how it conducts buisness and techniques in craftsmanship. Now I have to go spend additional money somewhere to correct their mistake. I have also let the BBB know of what happened.

Im doing this just so they know what they did was WRONG, and to keep this from happening to you. I just picked my car up from this location, Maaco Collision Repair & Auto Painting, 15608 E 17th Ave, Aurora, CO 80011. I was in a accident not long ago and took my car here for a estimate. They did that without any problem. I got the check from the insurance company... after 2 months finally. It was more then the estimate that Maaco gave me. I wrote the check over to them thinking they would give me back the difference... (SHAME ON ME) Thats not the case. When I ask about the difference. They came up with some BS about what they did to offset the difference so they didnt have to give it to me. The main dude is a fast talker. He thinks if he talks fast enough, you might miss something. So watch out for him. Either way they did a great job on my car. All Im saying is, CASH YOUR CHECK if its more then the estimate they give you, that way they cant come up with some BS way to keep your money!!!!
