I should have known these guys were not quality when I took my car in for an oil change and they gave me regular instead of high-mileage oil. Ive never gone in for an oil change where they did not suggest the high mileage (my vehicle is well over 100k) or at least ask what kind I had already. I needed some bigger repairs (struts, rotors, etc) and I went out of my way to bring my care here because they were the cheapest by far...big mistake. Since getting my car back from them I have had nothing but problems. I dont want to write a novel here (although I think I could) so Ill just list the items that should stand out as a concern: - After letting me know my car was ready, it was still on the lift when I came to pick it up. After a good 20 minutes at least, I was informed that they ran out of gas and had to stop the service mid-way and that I would need to bring it back to finish when the gas came in. - The next day I noticed the car was starting really rough (like the battery was having an issue or something). My car has started perfectly since the day I got it 2 years ago so this seemed like an unlikely coincidence. - There was a swishing sound behind the dash. Apparently this isnt uncommon when radiator hoses are replaced but the mechanic said he couldnt even hear it! I had to make another mechanic ride in the car with me to verify that it was in fact audible. - They left a pair of pliers under the hood, keeping the hood from latching properly for my 20 minute drive home. - They left the old spark plugs under the hood instead of throwing them away. - The following week my engine actually cut out while I was exiting the freeway. Fortunately, the car restarted but that could have been disastrous if I had been in the fast lane rather than the exit. When I called to ask about it, they had no answer for me that inspired any confidence. They all seem like nice enough guys but they do not get a vote of confidence when it comes to competence. Do not go here!! I wouldnt go back if the service was free.

Worst car service ive ever had. They took 2 hours to do a simple oil change because they said they were working on 7 cars at once even though I made an apppointment with them and showed up 5 mins early. They charged me for a tire change and they never did! They are liars!!!!! BEWARE! Chris the manager said they changed the tires which I PAID for in my oil change. When the car was ready after 2hrs i asked the mechanic just to make sure and he said that we had not changed the tires!!!! He said we cant on this car! Then they started getting angry and wouldent pay me back for the tire rotation!!! The next day I had a warning light going off in my car saying that there is a low oil level. When I reached home a minute later, there was smoke coming out of the car!! I saw a trail of oil all over my driveway and a puddle of oil inderneath my car. When I called they told me to come over with another car so I can pick up some oil to drive my ruined car over. They took a look and saw that they were careless enough to put in the filter incorrectly. After they had fixed it, I took it home and checked my dipstick just to make sure everything was correct. Sure enough it was over. I called once again and they told me to come down so they could take a look at it. This time the manager chris started yelling and shouting at me. He was very unproffesional and rude. They then gave the car back and this time I checked the dip stick before leaving because I do not trust these careless people. When I took it home, I called the Meineke headquarters to tell them what happened, unfortunatly they made chris call me. I told him that he talked to me in a rude way and he hung up the phone on me in the middle of a sentence!!! I feel cheated and scammed. Not once did I receive an apology or sympathy from anyone. Instead the manager yelled at me and hung up on me in the middle of a sentence! No one should have to go through this!!! BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE AT ANY COST THEY WILL RUIN YOUR CAR!!!!!!!

I had a rebuilt engine installed at the location. To have bolts and screws missing from ALL over the engine. None of the wiring was tied so now the whole thing needs rewired. They tried to say that the a/c compressor was bad because the truck was making noise, the a/c compressor was BRAND NEW! The noise was from everything not being tightened up or missing bolts & screws. I had 3 different mechanics look at the truck before my daughter drove it out of state. After pointing out several things my 80yr old Grandfather took it back, the manager knew they were in the wrong and tried to shut us up with a free catalytic converter. But when she drove it home it was leaking antifreeze everywhere because the alternator cut a hole in a hose. Over this entire experience things we had pictures /documents of that were also done wrong or incorrectly that were not already stated include. Manifold shroud missing, 3 brackets missing bolts, bolts loose on exhaust manifold were loose, brackets that hold alternator & water pump, pulley to head missing bolts, a hose clamp was placed wrong and rubbing on the serpentine belt, and the dipstick was connected to anything and completely loose. Spoke to Meineke corporate office and mechanics about getting a refund for the $800 paid to put it in. The lady at corporate said she would give it back but its up to the owners. This guy named Kevin called me & refused to give the refund because the work was done even though it was done wrong. Then told me I should stay out of my daughters affairs. Umm, isnt family supposed to help you? She just turned 20 & has NO mechanical training, he also tried to tell me the my Grandfather was irate and rude. To that I say watch the tape!! The manager shook his hand before he left!!! Do NOT take your car to this place!! It wont be done correctly & then they will refuse to refund your money!! I have also filed a complaint with the BBB.

Horrible business practices and shady schemes. I brought my vehicle in last December about 5 months ago to get an oil change before I went home for the holidays. They came up with a laundry list of stuff that needs to be done. Such as the air filter which I just replaced before I went in there. So I dont even know if they looked at the filter or if they are just trying to pull one past me. The one that stuck out the most is they said I needed to have my coolant flush. The lady who I assume owns it or is the office manager at least said my coolant is so bad it isnt even working. I needed to have it flushed immediately. Well I had a check engine light come on a couple days ago and I brought it to a Jeep Dealership to have the see whats wrong. I also said that I need to have my coolant flushed due to Meineke telling me my coolant was so bad it isnt even working. The guy called me and said my coolant is perfectly fine. Whoever from Meineke was just blowing smoke up my ass trying to do anything to make money. He said my coolant was full, and looked just fine and is good for another 30,000 miles. Bottom line this place is a scam. Go some where else. I will never bring any of my vehicles there. My roommates used to bring their cars there, well never again. They take everyone as retards and they figure they get you to have things fixed that dont need to be. They will just tell you things that need to be wrong hoping you will bite and get it fixed.
