WORST PLACE EVER. If you want your car to be in a even worst condition then by all means visit this place because they will take care of that for you! I just contacted there corporate office, waiting to see if they have the decency to give me a call on this matter because my life was in danger! Just submitted an inquiry online to see if I can get a lawyer to contact me on this matter and hopefully represent me. I went there today (4/15/2017) to get an estimate & diagnose on my car because I know I needed new brakes. When they finally looked at they informed it would cost me $775 which I cant afford. So I returned to the place to pick it up and just buy they stuff myself and have a family mechanic fix it. However when I went to pick up my car the clerk warned me that it would be unsafe to drive off with the car in the condition it was? Ive been driving my car for months and it never was "unsafe". Well guess he was right because when I left the parking lot I noticed the "brake" light was on then when I started to press on brakes I had to press down to the flow before it stopped ! Almost crashed into the vehicle in front of me !!! I called the place back and explained to them and they said I was lying! Even when I told them I had witnesses because my mom went with me to drop off the car and my boyfriend drives my car all the time!!! And then they hung up on me?! This is ridiculous! For those of you who are reading this please I repeat PLEASE dont make the same mistake as me! Dont go to this place !

I used a groupon to get a $12 oil change for my 2010 Ford Fusion. A simple oil change, people. The tech who did the service put the WRONG oil filter on it. I was up in the mountains the next day when my oil light came on. I pulled over and oil was gushing out where the oil pan is. A friend of mine looked under the car and the oil filter was sitting in the oil pan...it had come off. I had the oil changed on a Saturday and this happened on a Sunday, so nobody was available to help. I had to have my car towed to Colorado Springs and I chose to go to my Ford dealership who usually does my oil changes. That Monday, the dealership called and confirmed that the wrong oil filter was installed. Unbelievable! I went to Just Brakes with all of my expense receipts that I had incurred because of their negligence and they apologized and said they would take care of it. This happened just before Thanksgiving and it is now February 22. They still have not reimbursed me. Andrew was the manager that said he was taking care of me. One of his excuses is that he has had to put a LOT of fires out from the previous manager. Great! He NEVER returns my phone calls nor follows up with "corporate" to find out where my settlement is. Be warned now...this is the worst experience I have ever encountered anywhere.

Be cautious. These guys are crafty at finding hilarious things to inflate the price. Little did they know I am an ASE Master Tech that simply didnt want to spend a day off changing the brakes on my own car. First they claimed the bearings were bad but indeed they are not. Then it was that they needed a new hardware kit for $40 when the kit is $10 at Advanced Auto. Then they claimed that Advanced sets a resell price for parts they sell to shops. I personally have a dealer account with Advance and know there is no such requirement. Then it was they needed new bearing seals. The old ones are in great shape but could be damaged when removed from the van so sure I will give them that. Then it was the van needed a new caliper. Inner pads always wear faster than outer pad simply due to the very design of a caliper-inner is first to touch and last to leave the rotor so hence the quicker wear. New hardware will ensure they wear even-not a $130 new caliper. After attempting to pad the bill to over $600, I got the brakes done for $300 with tax included. Not too bad when I was anticipating $200 ($99 per axle) before taxes and everything. Long story short, if you are not a mechanic and have no idea what you are doing-do not use this place as they will take you for a ride.

I very rarely, if ever leave reviews because I think people go a little crazy with them and forget to rate the business not something superficial. But, I felt this place deserved one. Matt, Joe, and Sean are the guys I worked with. They accepted a last min appointment and worked with me on multiple issues with my car. Not only did they give me great customer service but did great and fast repairs on my car. ADDITIONALLY, they found an issue with my car that they probably could fix, but referred me to an expert because they thought I would get better service due to the intensity of the problem (it was related to internal engine issues which isnt really part of their scope at Just Brakes). FINALLY, they even gave me a ride home AND PICKED ME UP. They dont have a courtesy car service, they are just nice guys. One of the techs, Sean, gave me a ride in his own car on his own time. Albeit I dont live far from their location; still super great service and thoughtfulness towards a customer. In conclusion, if youre wondering whether or not this place is a good service center with trustworthy techs and management, it is... very much so. Talk to Matt (I believe he is the manager or assistant manager). He knows his stuff.

I took my car to Just brakes on Powers and Stetson Hills right after i started to hear my car start to grind because they are brake experts (right?). I was was expecting a $100 bill to have my front brakes fixed. When they called to give me the assessment, they tried to charge me $600 to replace my front brakes/rotors/pads and redo the rear ones. I didnt buy it. Their explanation made no sense and I am not even that car savvy. Then they said i could just fix the front ones for $225 and deal with the rear ones later. I didnt buy that either. I told then i wasnt doing anything and was coming to get my car. I took it down the street to Firestone and they checked it over. Their assessment, both my front and rear brakes were fine and i didnt need to do anything to them. The grinding was common for my car and they could make it go away but it would likely come back, or i could just let it go away on its own. Just Brakes tried to rip me off. I will never go there again. Warning to all.

I never thought of Just Breaks for an oil change until the last few months, and once I went there Ill never going anywhere else. The guys there make me feel very comfortable in knowing that they will do whatever it takes to keep my car on the road at a price I can afford. They make sure that I understand everything (short term and long term) thats happening with my car so that I am the one who gets to make the decision on what gets done. A lot of the time at other places theyll try to rip you off by saying "your car wont be able to leave the lot if you dont fix X, Y, and Z, oh and that will cost you $3000". Not once have the guys at Just Breaks done that to me, so I feel safe in trusting their judgement. I know they value my business and I like seeing them. They are always so friendly and I refer to them all the time. Like I said I wont go anywhere else.
