Midas is Terrible. I have been to the one on S Nevada and the one on Platte & Circle. The one on Platte we took the car in to get what we was told was needed which was a new intake manifold. The price is ridiculous but not having many other choices, due to just moving here, we went ahead and had the work done. When all was done it was $1600. A day later we had to take it back because the problem still wasnt fixed. In my opinion, you are a professional and you should diagnose it correctly the first time. So we had to take the car back and they had to put a new water pump in the car. When we finally got the car back again once the intake, and water pump were replaced. we notice the cruise control, that did work when we took it in, didnt work at all. Basically the shop said, "its not our problem." So that was the end of that. The shop on S Nevada I had taken that same last car there to have a power steering looked at. I dont mind paying for work but we had to pay something like $600 for a new power steering pump. I dont paying labor but when the labor charge is twice as much as the time it took to do the job then adjust it. Only Shady shops dont give any breaks on labor when it takes way less time. So moving on, the last car was my girlfriends car. Now my car started having some problem and i had no clue where to take it. My car had a bad pulley on the A/C compressor. It had been grinding a little so i knew it needed fix. A little back story i bought the 4 oil changes for $72 bucks and i needed my oil change so i took it to the S Nevada shop. While i was there i mentioned this noise. They just said it was something else and I had to pay to have them weld it... so be it.. But they just blew off the real problem. When I left the shop it wasnt to bad but over the next couple days it got worse. I called the S Nevada to set up an appt to have it looked at. As i walked in the door and said hi my name is.... they said oh yeah we have your estimate ready. They didnt take ANY TIME at all to even look at the car. Through the door with a $1600 Estimate. I knew it was ridiculous and left with my car. I took it somewhere else and got it fixed for $600 bucks. IF YOU GO TO MIDAS BEWARE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND CHARGE YOU FOR THINGS YOU DONT NEED.

Had an appointment to come in for a few days, I work near by and wanted to have it looked at while working... I had come in with my car and talked to one employee earlier this week about what I needed done and he was very helpful, told me it would be no problem and that they would see me at my appointment. I called this morning to confirm before I came over this morning and the employee right off the bat is finding reasons to not help me when I tell him why Im coming in...( I need an oil change and need to see if anything is majorly wrong with my car before I invest in expensive body work) he tells me no, I need the body work done before he can look...I tell him its been running fine just really need the oil change and to double check under the hood before I make a decision to do that... even though I have an appointment he seemed like he really didnt want me to bring it in... Today I bring it in and before I even get out of my car the guy working there comes over looking at the car ( it was in an accident recently, drivable with body damage) and tells me he cant help me. He asked if we just spoke on the phone and tells me my car is a liability bc of the hood damage, told me my hood doesnt latch ( without even checking it)and if he touched it and it flew up itd ba a billion dollar lawsuit... My hood DOES latch. He didnt even ask me. Over the last month Ive had multiple estimates for my car, had new tires put on, rotated, had an alignment, had an oil change since the accident and not one other person told me my car was a liability

I had such a good experience there. The customer service was awesome! I went there to get an oil change, and my husband usually does our oil changes but with him being deployed I had to take it in. I didn’t want to tell them that he was deployed because I have always heard horror stories from other spouses getting scammed into things they didn’t need. However, after looking at my vehicle they came to tell me that my hub bearings and tie rod were extremely bad, and that it was something that needed to get taken care of right away. I told them then that my husband was deployed and told them I didn’t want to get screwed over, and the guy explained to me in plain language what was wrong and told me to go home and talk everything over with my husband. I called around and the prices they offered were inline with what everyone else was charging. That night my husband called and said that in made a lot of sense that that’s what was wrong with the van and told me to take it back in right away. They guys at Midas were able to get me in right away, despite a full parking lot, and they dropped me off at home and they had my vehicle done in half the time ( I told them I had kids to pick up from school), they were also able to pick me up. The guys up there are so nice, and I never felt like I was being jerked around, I honestly felt like they cared. I will definitely be going there again for all our future needs!

I had a great experience at this store. I had an exhaust leak repaired. And that repair has been satisfactory, no leaks or noises since the repair. I also had an oil leak repaired that was causing a misfire in the number one cylinder of my 2001 Subaru Outback. About a week after the repair the check engine light came on again for the oil leak causing a misfire in the number one cylinder. I took the car back in, and they were happy to do warranty work to repair the car and make it right. I would definitely go back to this Midas for service. They also changed my oil and rotated and balanced my tires. Although I have left Colorado Springs and move to Loveland Colorado, this Midas is on my favorite list in case I need auto repair when Im in Colorado Springs.

We just moved to the area a couple of months ago from out of state where we had previously gone to a Jiffy Lube for years. I received a coupon for Midas so thought Id give them a shot and Im really glad I did. They did a thorough job and offer many more services than just oil changing and vacuuming. It doesnt take 15 minutes but you are able to make an appointment and they check over the entire car. And like a previous reviewer stated, you dont have to worry about them trying to sell you that $80 filter you really dont need. Lastly, the guys are great. Very friendly and fun to talk to. Smells good in there too by the way - they have a candle at the desk!
