I visited this center after purchasing a groupon for an oil change. Generally I take my car elsewhere but I decided to give this shop a try since it is closer to my house. Never, ever take your car to this center. I dont want to speak for Meineke as a whole, as I dont know about how they operate as a company, but this particular one is horrendous. I arrived 15 minutes prior to my appointment, which I had made one week in advance. Mind you, I work regular business hours Monday through Friday and simply cannot take the time off during the week to make appointments. I made the appointment for a Saturday, and received confirmation twice. In the notes, I clearly listed that this appointment was for a Groupon offer and what was included. No one contacted me besides the appointment reminders. When I arrived the mechanic was helping another couple, and I waited patiently since I was early. When he finally finished and offered to help he looked at me like I had just landed in a spaceship from another planet. He very rudely asked me if I was at the right place, to which I replied yes I had mapped there from the confirmation email I received. Flustered, he began to take my information all over again. From this point on he was completely rude. He kept saying "I can do it, but you are going to have to give me time." And by "I can do it", he meant he would only do the oil change and not the tire rotation or the safety inspection that was included with the deal. The last straw for me was when the man lied to my face. He tried to tell me that my car was in need of synthetic oil, and that I could not put traditional oil in it. Because of that, the service was going to cost me an ADDITIONAL $46. This is simply not true. I know my car, and of course this is not my first oil change. This crooked mechanic tried to weasel an additional $46 out of me by assuming I knew nothing about my car. What else are they lying about to unknowing customers? Do yourself a favor, choose a different mechanic.

I have been using Meineke on Academy Blvd for all of my companys fleet needs for about a year now. We have about 20 trucks, some of them diesels. They do great work and their customer service is excellent. I used to take trucks to a different place and the shop thought it was ok to keep my trucks for days. Especially in business, time is of the essence. With Meineke, my trucks are turned around within 24 hours unless they are waiting on parts, which seldom happens. They can usually get all parts locally. Dave the owner is always there, and Aaron the manager is very professional and knowledgable. I would recommend these guys to anyone running a small to mid-sized business or for their personal, domestic needs. They even aid me or my employees in transportation while our trucks are in their possession, within reason of course. A very trust worthy, professional, and service oriented organization.

I just came from there and just needed a transmission fluid change, not only did he change the fluid but gave me a customer service experience I wont soon forget. He told me what can do with my car next and a couple things to watch out for on my baby. As a new car owner I am skeptical to take my car anywhere because people like to try to take advantage of a young woman doing repairs on her own, but he made me feel safe taking my car there, A no nonsense kind of guy I need to take care of my car. He has a great staff, very people friendly and I love that they test drive it to make sure everything is tip top before returning it. Ive been to other car shops but this one takes the cake on awesomeness!!! Maybe next time fill up the coffee pot for me lol. Thanks guys you rock!!!

TERRIBLE! First, I had an appointment but it still took over an hour and a half. Went for a simple oil change and tire rotation and my car hasnt been the same since. That very night my tire pressure light came on. Took it back the next day to see why it was driving funny as soon as I drove away. They propped it up and showed me my tires tread was worn on the inside which my original paperwork showed great tread. The guy told me since the tires were rotated it will take time to adjust before the light goes off. Light is still on. To top it all off not 3 days later Im leaking oil!!! I would take it back but I dont want them anywhere near my car!! Oh and I had a free tire rotation coupon but apparently my oil had to be special ordered and the oil change cost me $110!

Like the terminator, Ill be back. Ron, the manager, was friendly, professional, applied the discounts for the coupons I had brought with me before I even showed them to him, and even threw in a free oil change! The mechanic who worked on my car took me into the bay to inspect the problems once my wheels were off, made sure that I knew what needed to be repaired today, what would last for a while longer, and gave me the information that I needed to make an intelligent choice about maintaining my vehicle, rather than just telling me what I should do. For possibly the first time since Ive owned a car, I feel like Ive found a shop that has my best interest in mind. I have no compunctions about taking my jobs to them in the future.

I had grinding breaks. Took it here, and Ron (manager) got me taken care of. Turned out that i had a few other issues than just pads and rotors. Ron took me into the shop and specifically pointed out the exact things that were an issue. He showed me that there was a bulge in my break lines in the front, and a leak in one of the brake cylinders in the back. It was a great comfort to actually see the problems with my own eyes. Not only seeing them, but Ron really helped me to understand why it was a good idea to fix them. I will recommend this place to everyone I can. And furthermore, this is the place I will always bring my car. For they are trustworthy, efficient, and all around "good guys."

Dave at Meineke was referred to me as a trustworthy mechanic in Colorado Springs. As a new resident in the area, I appreciated the recommendation as well as the quality service Meineke offered. Dave shuttled me across town and back so I could have maintenance done on my vehicle, and his mechanic carefully explained the services my car needed, answering all my questions thoroughly and patiently; he even showed me the auto parts I wasnt familiar with so I could learn. Not being a mechanic myself, its so important to know Im not being charged unnecessarily, and Meineke on Academy is an car care center I trust and recommend.

I took my truck into the Meineke on N academy to have a clunking noise inspected. Aaron the manager took me out to my truck, explained what was wrong while showing me the issues with my suspension. It was a very informative experience for me. After receiving the work quote I called 2 other shops and Meineke was very competitive. The work was completed within the time frame given by Aaron, but when I went to checkout the assistant manager applied a coupon which lowered my bill $20 from the original quote making them the best deal by far from the other shops. Great service!!! Will only be taking my truck here from now on.
