I normally dont write bad reviews. I figure everyone has off days. But every interaction at this firestone has been horrible. It all starts in May of 2012. I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and I mentioned that the front passenger tire had a low tire pressure and that I had to fill it twice during the week. They told me it would be a couple of hours and they would call me when it was ready. I go and run some errands and come back when they call a couple of hours later. They print up the bill and I ask about the tire, they say "Oh its fine just needed some air." I kind of have a personal thought of that sounding odd since I had filled it up twice already but they were the "professionals". Of course the next day the tire needs air again, and again, well I work till 6pm Mon-Fri. So of course theyre closed when I get off of work. So I wait until the following Sunday. I bring it in and tell them about my issue I also remark that I think the wheel may be cracked if the tire is fine. So they go and check. Well, now that Ive pointed out the cracked wheel idea they find out that it is indeed the problem. I ask them why they didnt detect this when I brought it in. They said they didnt know. Oh well. I need my wheel fixed. So I asked them to get me a new one and they said it would be a couple of days and get back to me. Three weeks later, when I finally had some time and they hadnt contacted me back I just call the car dealership for my vehicle and attempt to purchase one. Apparently my wheel model is on back order and has been so for at least a month. So I contact them back and ask them if they can just get me a used one, since they mentioned they could do that if I didnt want a new one. They said they would contact their wheel guy again and get back to me. Two more weeks and no contact I decide to take matters in to my own hands. I scour the internet and finally find a refurbished wheel. Have it shipped to my home and then go in a couple days later with the wheel. Now, when I bought the tires from Firestone earlier that year I bought the "Road Hazard" coverage for the wheels. I asked them before having them start the work of swapping the wheel would be covered. He assured me it would. I sit there for about an hour and finally when my vehicle is ready I have a bill. I ask about this but apparently the manager had left for lunch and there was nothing I could do. So I paid the money and left. You would think this is the end, for which I wish it was and apologize for such a long story but it is in fact not then end. As Im leaving the firestone my "tire pressure low" message comes on again. Im thinking ok, maybe they just fubard the sensor and Ill bring it in again but fearing that I would have to deal with their incompetence again I put it off for a week. By happen chance on the way to work the following week I took a guess and went to an air pump at a gas station. Two of my tires were at 30PSI when the tires are rated for 50PSI. I filled them up and viola no message. All in all, they are incompetent, slow, and ignorant. I will never, ever, bring my vehicle here again.

Terrible, you would be better off going to the zoo and letting a couple monkeys wail on your car, in fact borderline I wanna sue these guys. Sent my wife there while I was at work since I do not have my tools here in colorado with me. By the way real men change their own oil. Anyways I sent her there to get an oil change and have a bad bearing estimated. First off they did not change the oil I checked before and after, second they decided it was not a bearing and it was the "springs" on my "AWD" car and I need to get new tires and the noise will stop, first off the car is not AWD buddy and the damn tires are 2 months old. btw it doesnt matter if we fix it he says is just an annoying noise. If I had kids i would be furious these guys need to be put out of business

I had my car towed here because my tire had been vandalized. The guy who helped me didnt really greet me when I got there and kind of gave me a bad first impression. He seemed a little rude, but I dont judge because you dont know if maybe he had a bad morning. Anyways, disappointingly it was going to be a few hours to change the tire and balance all 4 wheels. When I got back, I was greeted by him and other guys. The guy that had originally helped me seemed to be in a better mood and told me they had done a little extra for no charge. Overall, I was happy with the end result. I think Im neutral about bringing it back when I need new tires in the future.

I went to have an oil change done and I made it there an hour before they closed. I stood in line for about 25 minutes. When I got to the counter the receptionist told me they cant do It because they close in 30 min. I was upset since I drove 30 min out of my way to make it on time. She spoke to a manager and he agreed to do the oil change. It took an hour and a half! Then two days later my car started driving funny. After it was taken to a REAL mechanic I found out it was because they put motor oil in my transmission fluid!!!! Horrible! Dont go!

While waiting for a part to arrive for my SUV they backed into my car with another car cause they failed to follow their own safety protocols. Now, theyre refusing to pay for my car to get fixed cause the estimate is over the value of my car, this is after the store manager assured me that they would pay for the repairs and get me in a rental for the time being. Do not go here. Oh, they also failed to inform me of the incident the day it happened, instead I found out the next day through their claims department. Very negligent on their behalf.

Over-charge for parts and didnt do a thorough inspection before and after their work to make sure everything was set to go. Truck broke down again within 12 hours of getting it back due to the same system they had just worked on. I took it back in there and they wouldnt make any concessions for me, wouldnt acknowledge they charged me for a repair that was incomplete, no help at all. Just gave me an estimate on additional work, again over charging for parts. I loved the Firestone in Durango. This place does not live up to the same standard.

Went in for an alignment after getting new tires and of course they tried to call me with 300 worth of additional repairs . I was told that Ian alignment couldnt be done because my tire rod was bad . I declined the work and took it to amechanic who is a family friend and there was nothing wrong with the tire rod , It was the shocks . I took off time for work for a repair that didnt even exist all so they could make Extra money off of a single girl . A total rip off and dishonest company . I wont be coming back.
