I received a coupon from Service Street in the mail for a very good deal for an oil change so I went to Service Street in Aurora Southlands on 12/9/16 to get an oil change. While changing my oil the tech indicated that my 2007 Mazda CX7 has leaks. The tech said, he needed to degrease the site in question and add fluorescent dye to isolate concerns. I asked the service guy at the register where the leaks are and he said all over. I declined the service due to the engine was brand new and was still under warranty. The miles on the odometer of my 07 Cx7 shows 133K, but the new engine has less than 6K. When Service Street finished the oil change I called Parker Imports, the company that installed the new engine. We took the car straight to Parker Imports, the only leak Parker Import could find was an oil leak from the oil plug. The same plug that Service Street had just removed to change my oil. I took my CX7 back to Service Street and asked them to tighten the oil plug. Service Street insisted that there were leaks even though they wouldnt tell me where the leaks were so I called Parker Imports so they could tell the people at Service Street about any leaks they found. I asked Parker Imports tech to explain to Service Street people where my CX7 was leaking and Parker Imports indicated only at the oil plug. Not one person from Service Street debated with the tech from Parker Imports. I asked Service Street to fix my oil plug and I will never come to them again. You get what you pay for. Service Street Southlands is a dishonest business and I will never go to Service Street again.

I went to the Service Street location in Aurora to get new brakes for my car. After a good experience with an oil change there, I decided to get a quote on brakes. I took the car in and they called an hour later to advise me that my brakes were in really bad shape. The man said that the pads, roters and calipers would all need to be replaced as the calipers were completely frozen. He also advised that the pistons were in a really bad shape. After receiving an outrageous quote of $1200, I declined the request to perform the work. The technician advised that the car was not drivable. Against his request to keep the car there, I took the car and went to another auto shop who performed an estimate and advised that brakes needed to be done but that they were not in very bad shape. They also told me that the calipers were in good shape and did not to be replaced. I brought my car in hoping to get an honest opinion on what was needed and feel that the minute they saw me, a female, thry tried to take full advantage of the fact that I needed work done. I will never go to this establishment and will tell any and everyone I know of this extremely negative experience. Remember word of mouth goes a long way. Dont over quote a person based upon their sex and your opinion of their knowledge of work that "needs" to be done.

I had taken my car here before & they took 2 days to do a job that they quoted 4 hours for so I was wary to do an oil change with them but then they sent me a coupon & I figured why not & took my car in. As Im waiting for my car the guy comes over with a list of about $4000 worth of work that he literally says to me you dont need to do but you could do if you want to lol! For example he says to me "you know you have the original shocks on your Jeep you should get new ones for $950 itll only take a few hours" Im like buddy Im here with a coupon for a $20 oil change for my 40000 mile jeep what the hell are you even talking about!? Whats wrong with the original shocks? Anyways, I dont want to make this review 3 pages long. I can give you a list of what sucks about this place. Like if your gonna try to bend me over for 4 grand when I came in for an oil change at least remember to put air in my tires like I asked. All I can say is dont go here. These guys are the definition of incompetent & dishonest.

Ive been going to the service street in Thornton for more then 2 years. Weve moved and went to the Service Street in the Southlands. Overall, had a very good experience. Had $500 dollars of work done to my truck and ended up having to pay $38 dollars in "fees" which was upsetting and surprising as Service Street usually does not charge like that (the big auto repair shops such as dealerships charge those "shop supply fees"). One of the employees, TJ, later caught that this happened and explained the problem resulting from their new system (brand new shop). TJ gave me two free oil change cards and apologized for the charge! Was a very welcomed surprise. I will be going back and would definitely recommend this place for auto repair/service.

DO NOT EVER take your car to any service street, especially the one in southlands. I took my car in for an oil change yesterday, I specifically asked them not to do anything with my car other than change the oil, check my tire pressure, and replace 2 stem caps. When i went to pick my car up they told me they went ahead and did an inspection on my car anyway, even though they were specifically asked NOT to, and told me i need $3,000 worth of work on my car. The most expensive repair being my axle boot, and the only reason it needs to be replaced is because they took a flat head and hammered it into my hose. The best part? THEY DID NOT check my tire pressure or replace the stem caps. Thank you for the dishonest service and criminal acts.

Excellent service. The front desk is helpful and friendly. They were able to fit my car in for a routine service and a repair within a day. Both jobs were done in the time specified and the price was within the average cost of that routine and repair job. I appreciated their willingness to look at a repair, estimate it, and understand the customers perspective. They gave me options that allowed me to make decisions based on my budget. They also have a pick up/ drop off service which is so convenient. I would recommend them for anyone that requires both routine and repair work on their car.

I recently took my wifes Subaru there for an oil change as I had purchased the 5 pack for $100. They told me it needed a new head gasket because it was leaking and quoted me a price of $2,700. The problem is I already had it replaced in 2013 as this is a common problem on this car. I took the car back to the original repair shop, which specializes in Subarus, and they said it was not the head gasket but a different gasket which would cost less than $100 to repair. What is even funnier is that the tech at Service Street, who diagnosed the problem, said he was the "Subaru guy" at the shop.
