Mixed feelings. The facility is great and Ive liked both personal trainers Ive worked with. However, it is very apparent at this particular location that youre just a number and once youre a customer, youre no longer important. When I first signed up for membership there was a billing issue and my membership was charged twice. I called three times and was told by whoever answered that they would "have someone call me". The call never came. Since I workout in the evening, the person I needed to talk with was usually gone for the day so I sent 4 emails. All went unanswered. I finally went on my lunch hour and cornered the guy who I needed and he begrudgingly heled me, sort of. Also, for personal training if you need to cancel or reschedule then you need to do that at least 24 hours in advance otherwise you lose the session. I understand why, but this became a tough thing for me in a new job (and Im under a contract) so I lost a lot of sessions this way. On the flip side, the trainers can cancel on you whenever they want - but the session never gets credited back to you in the system, therefore you have to work directly with your trainer to make it up...which has bit me more than once. The location has no direct control over billing/refunds or the online portal for personal training so theyre difficult to work with.

I had been with 24 hour fitness for over 15 years only paying $99 per year so I never thought I would ever become a member of a different club. My wife did not like 24 HR because of cleanliness and the old equipment. She visited the Aurora Tru-Fit in Southlands and met with Sienna Lytle there and my wife was so impressed with the size and space, cleanliness, and quality of the equipment she immediately signed both of us up knowing I would love it as much as her. I was very happy for my wife but was a little skeptical being a member of 24 Hr for so long. However, I met with Sienna the next day and she was very professional, courteous and helpful. I was so impressed with Tru-Fit, I had Sienna upgrade me to Executive Club access to I could go to the Tru-fit Club in Broomfield (where I work) sometimes as well. By the way, the bathrooms are super clean and the showers are the best. Sienna Lytle is an asset to Tru-Fit. She treats everyone so well and makes them feel special. If you are searching for a fitness club for the first time or thinking of switching, stop looking and go to a Tru-Fit near you today and check it out.

I love going to this gym! Moved into the area and wasnt sure where to go. Choose tru fit and have been more then happy with my experience. Sirrea singed me up always says hello, very friendly! Brett a trainer there taken a couple of his classes. He classes are great and hes very helpful in wanting the best for your workout! Dj works up front desk and helped me figure out a meal plan to get more energy through out the day! He was so nice and wrote out a plan for me to help guide me through my experience! Everyone there is so helpful and cares about what youre looking for in your workout routine! I mainly do the classes cuz thats what I enjoy! Sign up for tru fit you wont regret it!

It was close to home and looked nice. They treated you very nice first but when it comes to cancelling they wont let you. Every staff talks about different thing when it comes to "their policy". All they do is trying to get your money. Dont think about their costumers. End of the month I tried to cancel mine and my brothers who went back home (overseas). They didnt mention anything about come 10 days before cancelation and took money from my card for the next month. Moreover, they wont let anyone go for the month you paid for the person who went overseas. It is just a rip off. Hate this place. Dont go there. Worst place ever.

Belonged to another gym for many years. Moved to this gym because it was closer to my home and job, more centrally located therefore it would give me more time in the gym. Yay! What a great decision!! Tru Fit has everything you need and then some. All the latest and greatest equipment, classes, locker room, tanning and child care. It is just big enough to give you space but not so big that you cannot move in between the different circuits quickly. The staff greets you with a smile every time and there is always someone available if you have questions or concerns. You cannot beat the price either!!

I have been a Trufit member for about 2 years however, I recently started using one of their personal trainers and I love it. The encouragement and results are great! I was looking for a trainer that would get and keep me motivated and Nick D. fits the bill! Once I started seeing results my daughter also signed up for personal training! In addition, the personal training is reasonably priced. We always get a great greeting and goodbye from everyone including T, Nick, Enrique, and Sienna. I would recommend TruFit Southlands! Tina

Unfortunately this gym has a lot of turnover when it comes to trainers and employees. It appears they tell you what you want to hear to make the sale, then "forgot" or "misunderstood" the conversation. We were members for 2 years and are leaving because the management values money more than their customer service and even their own employees. Plenty of gyms in the area; Anytime Fitness by Target, Crossfit Southlands by old Albertsons and new Crossfit Grail by old Safeway on Aurora Pkwy.

Nickel-and-diming people from the get-go. I was a former member but I had to leave because I no longer was in the area. I came to visit some friends and I wanted to work out but I was only in area for about 2 weeks. They wanted to charge me more than a monthly membership for two weeks of their time to use the equipment. I tried to explain my situation being in the military and all and they just shut me down I would not recommend this place they are cheap

I have had one of the WORST experiences ever with a gym. I went to the gym with a valid pass and the manager comes out as I was tying to sign in with me and my friend lenon and islam and tells my guest that they needed an ID which they didnt have because they werent 18 so they tried to kick us out or make us pay with was 15 DOLLARS!! no one wants to pay that much to go to the gym for an hour and a half jsut to lift soem 1800 looking ass equipment

So far its been great, got good pricing including child care, the girls there are very friendly and I work out comfortably :) the only thing I have seen is that when there is broken equipment or some stations are out of paper towels they take a while to fix it, another thing I wish they did when signing up is give you a tour and show you how to use all the machines etc, but other then those two suggestions Im happy working out there.
