I had scheduled an appointment for a Friday afternoon. I set it up on a Monday. When Friday came around I was able to get off work earlier then normal. I was able to bring in my car at an earlier time without any issues. My initial problem was with my brakes but they found out that there were not issues with the brakes but were able to find another problem. They were able to show me what the issues were and saw for myself what was wrong. A lot of other places dont do this and want you to take their word for it. I was very happy they were able to show me what the problems were (bad transmission hose and cracked belt). Luckily the hose was covered under warranty and was able to save money. I couldnt see the cracked belt but I knew that was already a problem since the my dealership gave me a heads up on it when I got my oiled changed. The initial check up took a little over a hour but after they told me what the issues were they were going to have to keep my car until Saturday to fix it. I was hoping it would be fixed that day but I was ready to leave my car there in a worse case scenario. I was told it would be done in the morning and sure enough it was ready in the morning. I was offered a ride home from the owner and he picked me up as well the next day. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If you decide you want to wait for your check or repairs, they have a very nice waiting area with comfortable leather chairs/sofa. Its nice to find a place you can actually trust now. After my experience I started spreading the word around to my family and friends. Since I didnt have a car Friday night I had a friend pick me up and told him my car was being fixed. He mentioned CBA since they just opened up and he always sees a lot of cars in the lot. I told him I took my car to CBA and its been great so far. After I told him about it, he said that he now has a new place to take his car to now. CBA puts other places to shame and the word needs to spread. You always hear horror stories of other places out there like Jiffylube/Brakes Plus, etc but Chistian Brothers Automotive is bringing back what true service should be like. To the staff, especially (Luke and Steve) thank you for making a good experience out of this since my previous experiences have always been stressful with other bigger auto services.

Update: 8/17 Feels like management/ownership has changed. Last 2 repairs have resulted in multiple trips to get the original problem fixed. The diagnoses is on your dime and their time. Both Andrew and Eric act like they want to help when the real goal is you disappear. I know personally Ive dealt with multiple GMs in the last 3 years and the progression has been trending worse. I guess Im back on the hunt for a decent mechanic in Castle Rock. Original: I always take the 5 star reviews with a grain of salt thinking it must be an owner or employee posting. I can promise you Im neither. Im just someone that has been looking for a trustworthy, affordable shop in Castle Rock for years. I guarantee you Ive been to every "cheap" shop in Castle Rock...Midas...Meineke...Just Brakes...Brakes Plus...Brakes Etc. (seriously they might as well exist)...I could go on. After pouring money down the drain to only find a new never ending list of needed repairs I finally decided to try something else. If youre in the same boat Id urge you to give Christian Brothers a shot. This shop rocks. I didnt find that their prices were overly high. Probably a little bit higher in comparison to what Ive been paying, but see above to see how that turned out. I can promise you Im done going down that road over and over again. My wife took a Nissan Quest in for the van not thinking it was in drive...and so wouldnt GO. Even though the problem couldnt be duplicated that day, she walked out raving about how different it felt for her to be in this shop. As a husband, that means a lot because I have had to deal with the aftermath of shady shops trying to take advantage of her (that same day even). The next day it acted up again and they were able to figure out what the problem was. We didnt get charged for an extra diagnostic fee, they fixed it that day, and noticed we also needed an oil change that was done as affordably as any other shop in town. Oh, and the van was done before they said it would be. Im obviously impressed, hope the service stays at such a high level, and will definitely be back.

If I could go lower I would. I hate for a bad one to be my first post. I was initially given an estimate of $166 for the total cost of replacing my lug nuts. The total came out $243. Apparently labor isnt included in the estimate. Then I expected that I would have a hub replaced for that amount of money. Nope, that is for quantity 5 lug nuts and quantity 5 lug studs. The lug nuts were $16.21 a piece! I can get a set of 5 for that price. The lug studs were $17.08 a piece. I can get those $2.08 a piece. So whoever wrote about these guys being fair on pricing must have really gotten hosed at other mechanic shops. Instead of offering to use my spare they researched and quoted me a $188 used wheel replacement. I can get two brand new ones for that price! What a rip off. The last time I had my tires rotated the shop must have took my toolkit. This was not at Christian Brothers. However, Christian Brothers did not have anything to access my spare. So, I called a buddy to bring me his. It wasnt the right one so I had to lower the spare myself. Apparently its rocket surgery for them to do it. I received no discount in my pricing by providing my labor to do so(read tongue in cheek there). I asked for my military discount to help offset this price gouging. No luck. I did not have my ID on me. Overall terrible experience. My suggestion find another shop. This is what I get for going somewhere else than my trusted shop. I will never return to this shop again. Dont believe me on the gouging. I will send you a copy of the receipt. Please do not go here.

I was able to schedule my appointment online easily several days before I brought my car in. I arrived right at 7am and was warmly greeted by staff. They confirmed my requests for service (a 90,000 mile maintenance check and an oil change) and said they would call me before completing anything else. Mr. Steve was the shuttle driver that morning who kindly warmed up the van and heated seats even before I hopped in to ride to work. I appreciated his thoughtfulness and felt warmly welcomed by his kind spirit. Even in my brief 10 minutes at Christian Brothers that morning, I knew my vehicle was in good hands, and I was very impressed by their professional, yet personable, service. When I went to pick up my car after work, Mr. Doug walked through all areas of maintenance with me. The pricing was a little higher than what Im used to in my home state, but I also know Castle Rock is in general more expensive.I appreciated the respect with which he patiently explained everything, and my car runs very smoothly now. I was very surprised to find a hand-written thank you note in my car as well as a little USB gift, when I hopped in. I definitely recommend Christian Brothers to anyone looking for efficient, professional, friendly car service. I, for one, will be going back the next time my car needs to be serviced.
