My 07 tahoe stereo shut off while I was driving home one night, no problem so I thought, when I went to start it the next morning, I had lights and fuel pressure but no crank, just a click. After more research I decided it was the starter. Since I had no told I couldnt do it myself so I had it towed to bad rock in woodland park to replace the starter. Bad rock told me the starter was bad after "testing" it. I watched as they tried to get it to turn over but couldnt. After 30 minutes of this and done playing around under the hood I heard it fire up. Sweet. I asked what was up and they said it was a pinched wire on the starter....which is weird because you cant really pinch a wire enough to make it not work, especially out of the blue while Im driving. Whatever. I payed the four hundred and some odd dollars I was back on my way. About 200 miles down the highway on my way back to texas my stereo cut off again. I stopped for fuel and the same thing happened. Good lights, good fuel, no crank. After much headache in a blizzard I found that a tiny DLIS 2amp fuse had blown. I stuck a 5 amp fuse in its place and it fired up no problem. Long story short, check your fuses thoroughly before taking it here or else they will be taking your money.

I took my Jeep to Bad Rock after the Jeep dealer in Colorado Springs identified very unusual brake wear during a routine oil change and inspection and strongly suggested that I needed to replace both the rear brake pads and rotors. Bad Rock inspected the entire brake system and concluded everything was OK and brake wear was minimal. I brought a customer rewards coupon (valued at $25) to defray some of the cost of the brake inspection. When I asked how much I owed, Bad Rock simply said the $25 coupon would cover it. This was the second time that I took one of my vehicles to them where they took their time and expertise to check out the systems and didnt charge for it. On the previous time, they encountered an issue with the transmission in my Explorer that they werent comfortable in diagnosing further and, with my permission, took it to a transmission shop in the Springs. Im impressed with their honesty and professional attitude. I told them if they keep behaving in this way, theyll give the auto repair business a GOOD name. I recommend them highly.

This is by far the worst mechanic shop Ive ever been too took my car there for an oil leak they had the dam thing almost 2 1/2 months in and out of their shop 5 different times still didnt fix the oil leak they cracked my cylinder head and claimed it wasnt them did my timing belt wrong the timing belt is smoking and clanking I could go on and on they left Greasy hand marks all over my interior worst mechanics Ive ever witnessed oh right probably because most of them r right out of highschool with no proper training and if u r going through anything with them currently I stress to anyone to double check ur envoice from them because they "accidentally"charged 120 dollar part twice on mine and it would have never been caught if I didnt look very carefully this shop will try and take ur money and more than likely ur car will leave with more problems than it went in with stay away from bad rock the only good mechanics in woodland park r they vasholtz id go there before Id let badrock touch my car

Ive been to Bad Rock approximately 4 times this year. Unfortunately, Ive had to spend a lot of money on my cars for various maintenance needs, but I have to say that the shop and the staff at Bad Rock really impress me. Its a very clean, very personal environment. They have always fit me in on short notice, gave me a free oil change and car wash for my first visit, and often take considerable time to explain the work they think needs done and what was done. I dont get the sense they are milking me for more money either. These guys are calling it as it is. Their labor costs are not cheap but seriously, you get what you pay for. They know what theyre doing and do it right the first time. The owner is well respected by his employees and I believe a man of integrity. So give it up for Bad Rock Auto! Thanks for doing a great job!

I towed my Jeep JK to CO for a camping vacation. When I got to my campsite, the transfer case would not shift out of neutral. I suspected that something broke on the cable connecting my transfer case shifter to my TC. I called AAA for a tow to a shop, and AAA recommended Bad Rock. Boy am I glad they did! The staff (Steve) were knowledgeable and polite. Their shop is neat and clean. They got the work done the same day even though a part had to be ordered. Their prices were right in line with what I would expect for a reputable shop. They kept the broken part and showed it to me. And they picked me up at my campsite and brought me to the shop when my Jeep was ready. All in all, I have no reservations about recommending this AAA approved shop to all.

Showed up at 7am to get my back tire checked, because a screw was in it. Found out there techs dont get there till 8am. So i went back at 8, and was told by reception person i needed new tire it couldnt be repaired not by tech people who came. if that was the case why not tell me earlier when i came in that it couldnt be repaired it was the same person. Took my car to Used Tire King in Falcon. they repaired the tire for free no new tire needed as Bad Rock Auto stated. Also found out i needed a front tire. so i had all that done and they rotated my tirea for 59.00 at used tird king. If i had Bad Rock Auto do it im sure it would of cost my 350.00 dollars for there service which they lied to me about.

I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra which has been serviced there a number of times. I have a1987 Toyota SR5 which is not currently running, but which I will be bringing to them in the near future. They had overcharged me on one issue as they did not need to use all the parts, and they called me up to let me know and gave me the choice of getting the money back or a credit on future work. I took the credit, as it is so unusual for a company to let you know that they charged you to much, that I trust them for that action They just replaced a mirror I damaged, and tnere service was fast and tney picked up and delivered my truck to me

Theres two things that you need in your doctor and your auto mechanic - knowledge and trust. Bad Rock is the only place I go for auto needs because they have both. Mac and his staff are honorable people. Been going here for several years now. Definitely believe that I was led here when I had a problem that no one else could fix. Keep up the good work guys. Theyve get my old work car running smooth - have 220,000 on it now and plan on hitting the 300K mark prior to finding another one. This will be possible due to Bad Rocks great care.
