The facility is clean, gated, monitored. The storage unit I rented has a slide down door and a concrete lip that helps keep water out of the unit. I do have some complaints however. 1) The receipt that I received has print that is microscopic and the type of ink that seems to disappear if handle a few times. 2) The door to my unit has a piece of metal that slides into the wall in order to lock the door closed, but it is difficult to slide. It doesnt seem to line-up with the hole in the wall. My friends has the same problem. 3) When I signed up, a certain amount of insurance was automatically added to my bill and when I questioned the rep, Christopher, I was led to believe it was automatically included in my bill. I then saw it as a separate charge. I was NOT told that there were different amounts of insurance available (even a lower cost than I was required to pay). I was NOT told that I could waive insurance through Extra Space if I provided proof that I had coverage for my items from a different source.

While the facility appears to be acceptable, the service is another story. One of the attendants, Christopher, had the worst attitude Id ever witnessed and was extremely rude to not only myself, but to another on-site manager at another facility. He was obnoxious and doesnt belong in a customer service atmosphere. This was not the first time hed displayed his lack of professionalism. He became very rude when confronted by the other on-site manager about the inaccuracy of his paperwork in the system. This is unacceptable and he needs to be booted. Unless your need is very high, I would recommend dealing with another associate and if you encounter his attitude, dont waster your time; take the issue higher to the district manager. He is bad for their business. Hope this helps you out.

The facility was easy to access, the manager Christopher was willing to work with friends I have that use their storage, and was understanding that life happens some times. The unit was a standard 10x20, was clean upon opening the door, with no signs of leaks or any water damage inside the units. The rates are comparable to others in the area, however I personally will continue to use ExtraSpace for my storage needs, as they have a good selection of unit sizes for a good selection of prices!

Our storage unit was clean, secure and dry (throughout late winter and early spring) and, if we needed to, we would definitely check here first. Management was flexible and accommodating; they worked with me on our move out date (it ended up being a few days past the end of our lease) only charged us a daily rate past our move out date. Locking device on the unit was a little difficult but manageable. Very friendly staff and great rates!

Wow! Best storage unit available in the state. When I called I experienced some of the most polite customer service I have ever received. When I arrived 2 hours early to see the unit the manager Dustin was super gracious and helped me learn how to access my unit. The space was clean and much more room than I was expecting for the price point. I highly recommend Extra Storage Space in Castle Rock.

Met with Gary and he showed us the space. We were unsure if a vehicle would fit, so he suggested we go get it and bring it back to try. Sure enough it fit! The paperwork was super easy, the experience was very pleasant, and quite frankly the prices and commitment terms cant be beat! Best customer service I have ever had for a storage facility.
