My initial dealings with this establishment was fine. They helped me work with another persons insurance company that caused the damage and made dropping off the vehicle easy. The initial repairs went pretty well until I noticed a few paint chips that had not been repaired. No big deal, right? They said they would talk with the insurance company about the damage that the agent must have missed. I didnt sign the paperwork saying I was satisfied but that was fine, theyd call me to bring the car back in. Then weeks went by. I called them, they said they were waiting on Allstate. Allstate said they hadnt received any paperwork. More weeks went by. The bumper they repaired had become raised, likely from an improper reinstall or damaged clip. I brought the car in to show them. They now so they dont work with Allstate anymore due to so many vehicles needing hail damage repair. Still, they said they would send the paperwork to Allstate and fix the issues. More weeks go by. I call them, the receptionist says they are under new management or have new people. They say they will call me back. They never do. Needless to say Im frustrated, I dont have time to fool with these people. Stay away, they dont deserve your money, now Im stuck trying to work with them and its a nightmare. UPDATE: I was contacted by the new manager Ken and he apologized for the issue and promised to make things right.

Do not go here. I had 2 appointments scheduled, one today and one tomorrow, for two different vehicles. I showed up, on time, but wasnt talked to until 10 min after I got there. Then, after they finally found my info, the manager told me, "he knows youre here, so you can sit". Then the guy whos supposed to be doing my estimate says, "thats just one of my cars for the same time". I decided I would ask how long it was going to be because of what he just said. The receptionist said about an hour until my car is even seen, another hour to do the estimate. Whats the point of having an appointment if you dont get seen then? To top it off, the manager tells a guy thats picking up his car that its in his best interest to answer the text survey the first time or the company will just harass until they do, through texts, emails, then phone calls. I will NEVER go here, even though my insurance company sent me here. AVOID!

I have used Gerber several times in the past and always appreciated their professionalism and the quality of work. However, we the recent Hail Storm in July it appears they have bitten off more than they can chew, and will probably be losing my business. They originally scheduled my repairs for September and then the day before I was supposed to go in they called and said they couldnt see me until December 19. Okay fine, Ill wait. Well December 19 is today. I called to see what time they would like me to drop it off and they said how about May 3rd...what would have happened if I had shown up this morning to drop it off with my rental car already contracted? They also didnt seem that concerned that I was going to have to take my business elsewhere. Very disappointed, especially as patient as I have already been. Im also going to have to warn USAA who recommended them.

On the day of my scheduled repair ( I had to wait over 30 days for ) I dropped my truck off at the location on Palmer Park and was asked to sign multiple forms including a power of attorney. I asked what the form was about and why I had to sign such a form, no one could answer my question. I signed all the other forms but not that one. About three hours later they called me and said come pick up your truck, but no work was done. They refused to do any work to my truck and said they would just send the parts back and that I should have it fixed elsewhere. I picked up my truck and went to another repair shop where it was fixed in less than 6 days. Its important to know that the reason they wanted the form signed was because they thought I wouldnt pay the bill. Whatever gave them that idea is a mystery to me. They lost my business and I thought others should know.

This auto repair shop was recommended by USAA. I wish I would have done some research before the tow truck came to pick up my vehicle. Upon going there to get an estimate they said it would take about a week. Im on week three now and they still havent look d at my car. The GM said he would have an estimate as of today and to call back to find out if my car was totaled. When I called I was out on hold for 30 mins just to tell me they still havent looked at my car, three weeks later. Im glad I pay for a rental car through my insurance, otherwise I would even be more out of pocket. As for the customer service, trash, everyone there seems to be as if theyre annoyed and overwhelmed. I would have to say to steer clear of this establishment of you can. Even the interior of their shop is falling apart. Will update this status if anything changes.

NO Quality Control at ALL. Minor work turns to Mayor HEADACHE. Work Performed: 1. Minor Hail Damage, 2. Front Bumper Scrapes (only paint damage) and 3. Passenger rear door damage. Was told vehicle was ready on four (4) different occasions and it was NOT. I am not in no way, shape or form a vehicle painter/fixer. But when I could see mayor flaws in the work performed something is wrong. These where not little things that anyone could miss. Was told vehicle would be ready in a week. Did not get my daughters car back till four weeks later than promised. I think it is still not ready just tired of dealing with this shop for NOW and my girl needs her car to get back and fourth to school. If you like POOR Craftsmanship and NO QUALITY CONTROL AT ALL. "THIS IS THE SHOP FOR YOU". Dont know how a shop can stay in business like this.

Often, we only write reviews when were angry and frustrated. Today, Im trying to break that habit. After working with Cor(e)y (Manager) today, I told him that he was a BLESSING, because he was. He could sense my stress and anxiety about dealing with the car troubles Im having (even though Im dealing with the results of an accident that wasnt my fault). As a result, he was patient with me and understanding and just outright nice and kind. I really needed that, and I wish more people in the world (including me) would embody that spirit of generosity. I also worked with Alan(USAA Insurance Liaison) by phone yesterday and in-person today. He was really nice and patient also, especially since I had a lot of confusion about the process. Im thankful for both of them, and Im really glad they were HIGHLY recommended by USAA.

They dont actually do any repairs at their shop, everything is outsourced to other shops. Waited a week for an estimate, then they wanted me to wait another week to replace a tire that a tire shop could have fixed in an hour. EDIT - Just got my car back and the work seems to have been done correctly, it rides the way it should at least. Manager reached out to me by phone and explained why it took longer than expected, so I am raising my review from 1 star but the radio does not turn on and the airbag light wont go off, but Ken has promised to rectify the situation so I plan to take it back in tomorrow and have them correct that. Poor communication about changes is still an issue but I do appreciate the personal call to explain what happened, even if it was a tad late, so as of now I willing to give them 3 stars.
