We at Mineralife Nutraceuticals, LLC would like to take a few minutes of your time to tell you about the experience we have had with Hammers Construction. We were paying a great deal for a 5000 sq. ft. building here in the Colorado Springs, so we decided that building our own building would be a great investment. We checked around and were very impressed with Steve Hammers & Jon Ring when they came to talk to us about our building project. We hired them to construct a 10,000 sq ft building in order to handle our growing business. Hammers made us feel special starting with the very first video at the ground breaking, to the finished product and beyond. Jon Ring was our project manager and he was very attentive to our needs and suggestions. No matter what changes needed to be made big or small, Jon came through with exceptional knowledge and customer service necessary to get the job done. He was on top of each aspect of the job and kept us updated every step of the way. The building, landscape, and paving was done 2 weeks before we expected it. To sum up our experience, we can honestly say, we would highly recommend Hammers Construction. Upon completion when Steve Hammers showed our boss the finished product Neil Butterfield stated to him “I know Jon Ring had a lot of other projects on his plate while he was doing ours, however he made us feel as if we were the only one”. Steve Hammers and his crew are simply the best! In my entire career as a CEO I contracted for about 80 commercial construction projects. Hammers Construction is the best construction company we ever had. Recently, they completed an addition to a shopping center for us that another contractor had screwed up. We were in panic mode when I called Hammers. The project was behind schedule and plagued with problems. They fast tracked the entire project and their pricing was less than I expected. Just after they got started we had 7 weeks of impossible weather. Hammers worked nights and weekends to make up the time and did not charge us anything extra. Their project manager, Joe Butler, did an amazing job and went way beyond in solving a variety of problems with our tenants. It was a pleasure doing business with real professionals. Hammers Construction built our Veterinary Center. We were completely new to the construction process and in over our heads in the beginning. Hammers took care of everything for us including platting process of our lot, permitting, etc. allowing us to focus our time on starting our business. We regret working with an outside companys Architect to design the basic layout of our facility because it was much easier to have weekly meetings with Joe on the design. Throughout construction, as difficulties and unforeseen issues arose, Hammers was able to be proactive in creating solutions. Hammers subcontractors did a great job as well. We were very nervous about receiving our certificate of occupancy before our open house, but in the end Hammers got it done. Overall, the quality of their work is excellent and whenever something was not done to their standards, our superintendent personally took care of it himself. We feel that we received an tremendous value for the budget that we had.

We were very reluctant to find Hammers Construction after reviewing several other general contractors for our project. Our project included a 7,000 square foot addition to our existing building along with a complete overhaul of our 20,000 square foot east lot. Our biggest concern was the impact on our functioning business during the construction. Hammers not only completed our project on time and on budget, they took extra care in making sure our lot functioned and our business had minimal impact from the construction. Hammers even went out of their way to dismantle an overhead heater last minute in our existing building to help us make space for a new piece of equipment we had ordered, this was not in the scope but Hammers took care of it anyway. We will be using Hammers again, and highly recommend you do as well.

I work for the corporate office of a large retailer based in Ohio. We had a project in Colorado that needed quoted and completed within a four day period. I spoke with Steve Hammers and advised him of the situation. Steve had a quote to me within 24 hours and an action plan to complete the project within the three day limit. Overall, I had an outstanding experience working with Hammers Construction. They were on time, on budget, and communicated with us every step of the way. If you are looking for a construction contractor that is hard working, honest, and performs great work then I would recommend anybody to Hammers Construction.

These guys are great, full service from initial drawings to final occupancy. I was very impressed with their big picture ability to get the job done on time. The project management and superintendents were great. They actually redesigned some interior walls from my engineers drawing which made them stronger and saved me money. They have really great subs and were also able to quickly solve some challenging construction issues we faced. There seem to be fewer businesses that stand behind their work these days, but these guys are one of em.

Hammers Construction just completed my tenant improvement build-out for my new franchise. Very impressed! Not only did they have the most competitive bid, but everything was done very professionally and within budget! My business looks amazing. As with any construction project there were some minor delays, but Joe and Hammers always kept me apprised and was always in contact, day or night. I received weekly progress reports and they were able to expedite my permit. Would, and will, use them for my next build-out.
