I gave them no stars, but unfortunately it would not take that response, so I HAD to change it to 1 star. I have a huge list of items wrong with this company: The staff, both local and national, are ridiculously unpleasant and utterly disrespectful at times. They are also extremely rude, when making a comment, they cut you off and say "can I continue...", hey you paused I thought you wanted a response. You were asking a question, right?! The hold times to speak with a competent individual were absolutely horrendous. After a while, I just stop calling them, and choose to let them contact me. (They love using a recorded line, but lose certain records, or state they dont have it or access to it. Convenient!) I believe most of their staff is extremely under trained, poorly trained, or have no "REAL" training at all in customer service. ---Wow, you can answer a phone, good for you!, Now could you please help me with my issue. Everyone has a different story, on dates and availability. Wrong department, okay. Oops, call transferred - aka hung up on. And all of a sudden the website doesnt work either. Great! Just Great! Information you put into the website, comes up missing or changed. They are WAY more expensive then a U-haul, even with discounts for a military rate, which they need a crazy amount of information of. My move was just over a mile and half down the road from where I was, but I still have to wait a week for you to get here and move it. Bill comes and ---why I am being billed an extra month of rental -- oh, that is just a quote, not a bill, but guess what--- they are still trying to charge me for the additional month. The POD is STILL sitting at my new house because someone removed my pick-up date of July 17th, (which was exactly 30 days after it was delivered), and then try to charge me for the extra month rent... not cool! I want it removed it has been sitting there empty (mind you) for almost a month. No, I am not paying for the additional rental fee. I will pay the move fee and the final pick you fee, but nothing more, so for a $245 bill, they are trying to make me pay double that...about $450. I think not. The Final straw, my card on file has been lost for some times now, but they keep trying to charge it, then apply fees to me. No, I am not giving you a new card for pick-up, so you can charge the entire bill ($450) to it when i am not looking. I will pay by money order because at this point your entire company has lost all credibility and respect I EVER had for you. The trust is gone. I WILL NEVER, EVER USE PODS AGAIN FOR ANYTHING! Now they are claiming I never called in for final pick-up. BS! I have phone records too. The only upside of the company was that the drivers both were professional, polite, and listened to instructions on where to put the POD on initial delivery and on the move that was delivered to my new place because they each had to be placed just right for me to avoid headaches from my neighbors. This whole experience has been, in a word, Unbelievable!

I hired PODS to help with a HUGE move and the beginning of the process was great! They advertise that they service/deliver all over the world. NOT TRUE!!!!! I had a house sell in days so without a for sure place to go I used PODS to drop off the PODS and store them until my new house closed. A few days before closing I called to schedule the delivery of the pods to my new location. They told me "SORRY we dont deliver to that location!" I thought at first it was a joke, but soon realized it was no joke. I had 4 pods all being stored and paid for. I just needed them delivered. After 17 HOURS on the phone!!!! NOT KIDDING!!!!!! over the course of several days they offered to deliver them but way of a different City making it a LONG DISTANCE delivery and would cost $1100 per pod! YES $4400 MORE! I said NO WAY thanks but no thanks. I would hire another company to pick up and deliver my items. MUCH CHEAPER~ was the nightmare over??? NO WAY!!!! When they generated the QUOTE to deliver long distance they put them in as "INVOICES" and would not release my items because it looked like I owed them $4400!!!! This took another week and a half to rectify and being told I would take the NEWS station and a Sheriff with me to get my stuff. NIGHTMARE!!! I was in my new house 3.5 weeks before I was able to get my items delivered. Horrible customer service and the inconsistency is even worse. I was even given "confirmation" via email from several employees of the PODS being available for pick up to only get there and be turned away. I WILL NEVER EVER USE PODS EVER AGAIN!!!!! I highly discourage anyone to use them. USE A MOVING COMPANY if you have a new location if not do it YOURSELF and use a UHAUL or another source to move your items. They LOVE to hold your property HOSTAGE!!!! And to make it totally impossible to get to your property! I didnt even get as much as an apology! Lots of "Hang UPS" because they were getting very impatient with me calling everyday and I was NOT a happy customer so they would "transfer" me to another department and "OOPS" drop the call after being on hold for an hour. 17 hours total it took and my promise of the NEWS station and a sheriff to get my property, uncalled for! DO NOT USE THEM!!!!! ~ Lisa Allen ~ Colorado Springs CO.

1. Super long hold times when you try to talk to a human. 2. Poorly trained staff. Every person you talk to gives you a different story. 3. Very expensive. 4. You have to book these way far in advance. Even then, good luck getting someone to talk to you that has the story straight. I had Many, many issues with this company. The first person I spoke to when I scheduled my pods told me they do not pro-rate monthly pods, so even if you only use the pod for one or two days past the month, you still pay for two months. Thats ridiculous. He also said they had quite a few pods available that could be delivered the next day. So I called again later to book the pods. Spoke with a different person. She told me they have a five day grace period past the month. So if you only use the pod for a few extra days they DONT charge you for it. And they only had one pod available that couldnt be delivered for another week. So I booked what I could out of desperation. Then found another, much cheaper, company that was available during the days I actually needed. So I called to cancel my pod. Was on hold for 18 minutes. Waited four days and still didnt see the refund of $920. So I called again. Was on hold for 12 minutes. Finally got an answer that I should see the refund in another three days. Waste of time!!!
