After reading as many reviews as I could find on this company, I decided to buy a Living Social deal for 1 hour of moving help. My husband and I knew that it wasnt a lot of time, but only needed help with our large items (King bed, Queen bed, t.v. stand, and dining room table). A few minutes in to the move, the 2 movers dropped a dresser into our wall and now there is a deep gash running along the entryway wall. After being assured that they would fix it, we continued with the move and no other problems arose. The move happened Tuesday June 17th and it is now Wednesday June 25. We still have a large gash in the wall and were promised that today it would be fixed. I have been waiting to let these people in to repair the damage this afternoon, as told in an email, and now have found out that they cant come out until tomorrow. If the movers had come on our actual move-out day, instead of the week before, we would have lost our deposit because of their "little" accident. I understand that accidents happen, but I expect excellent customer service when it comes to fixing their mistakes. Be cautious hiring them if you need to get a security deposit back as the movers could damage your walls and then expect you to have weeks for it to get fixed.

Wow, where to begin... First dont ever expect an amount because it is going to end up running double. We had agreed on one day but they ended up saying they were only going to give us HALF the movers originally agreed upon (from 6 to 3) and we had to end up rescheduling to a different time. I am missing a lot of bolts to furniture they took apart. They spent half the time lost (which guess who paid for). I got different prices and amounts every time I spoke to anyone because they have no clue what they are doing. Also make sure to time their lunch, the 30 minute lunch off the clock turned into an hour and if I hadnt been paying attention they would have stuck it to me there as well. And if you have to deal with the owner John, I feel very sorry for you, he is a total jerk and if you end up working anything out with him, dont expect him to stick to it, he will still do exactly what he feels like no matter what was discussed. We were over charged after trying to deal with him for one thing and we might as well have just blindly agreed to whatever he said because he chose to do what he wanted anyway. FIND SOMEONE ELSE!!!!!

I recently hired Altitude Movers to help me unload my truck after driving from Virginia to Colorado. I was nervous at first, thanks to a poor experience with movers in the past, Altitude changed my opinion of movers in general. I had called and scheduled while I was on the road out here, and I was immediately impressed with how they were able to work with my schedule on admittedly short notice. I was even more impressed on the day that I had hired them for when the guys I had hired called earlier than I was expecting to see if they could get started early. Of course I said yes. When they showed up, both of them were incredibly polite, they worked fast, even in the killer heat that day, and most importantly, they were careful. They didnt cut any corners while moving my stuff, and managed to get an exceptionally heavy antique wardrobe of mine up the stairs without a single scratch on it. All in all, I found I got excellent value for my money with Altitude, and would not only hire them again for my next move, but recommend them to any of my friends who are looking to move as well.

Failed to provide the quote as promised via email after I called and set an appointment for a move. After researching some of these reviews I became concerned that this may not be the moving company for me. So I called to cancel. She tried to ignore my request for a cancellation and tried to talk over me and made a 3rd promise to send me the quote. I had to nearly yell and say NO CANCEL IT and then she hung up a few seconds later trying to pretend that she didnt hear me. I think Ashley may be trying to commit fraud since she took my credit card info when I made the appointment and now appears to be refusing to cancel my appointment (probably to scam the late cancellation fee from me). My appointment was friday, today is tuesday (today 4-5-16) is the day i made the appointment) so obviously Ive given more than enough notice. So I requested cancellation via phone, email, text, and I have now complained here. So if they try to charge the cancellation fee it will be fraud and a civil violation, and Ill have proof. What I am supposed to think? Too many red flags here.

I had Stevon which I believe was the lead mover and was a complete genius! They all worked hard and efficiently. Myles, Dustin and Damon were the other three and they were all great! I would highly recommend this team. They were professional and easy to be around. There was a misquote on pricing in the beginning and a new price and quote was sent to me and a discrepancy on pricing at the end of my move that was made right in the end all due to what I believe was a new receptionist/ booking agent for moving. She did make it right in the end but just get it in an email or quote or writing somehow. In the end I would highly recommend them. Great job ! Melaine and TIm k.

The guys were great and worked quickly but safely. The overall time did take longer than the estimate, but we didnt mind in the least because nothing was damaged and everything was put right where we wanted it. They even managed to protect a cheap Ikea dresser that has been through 3 moves prior to this one. We warned them that it may fall apart and we werent super worried about it. But they treated all of our furniture so carefully, and the dresser is still in great (well cheap Ikea furniture version of great) shape! That alone saved us several hundred dollars on a new dresser. Billy and Willy were just awesome! Thank you!

Zero stars if i could. I decided to get movers to make my life easier. What happened was the opposite. This was the worst moving experience you could ask for. No call / No show / No answer when i tried to contact them on the day they were scheduled to arrive until 9pm that evening to reschedule for the next day. Late again on that arrival time. Overcharged my credit card a few days later, once again no answer at their only number. I had to work with my credit card company to finally get in contact with them to get someone on the phone and fix the incorrect charge. Never Ever Again would i ever use this company.

My past experiences in moving made me realize things. I really need to thoroughly check first about the moving company I am looking for. After carefully selecting and asking for suggestion from friends, I end up choosing Altitude Movers. I could tell that the movers I hired were quite experienced and fast. They know what to do with our stuff and made clearly sure that nothing happens to them. I feel relieved that there were no issues during and after the move. My money was indeed spent well in hiring them and it looks like my findings about them were true, that they are indeed a great moving company!
