This is a long read, but worth it if youre considering hiring this company. The short version: very slow movers originally billed over $1650 for an unfinished move, small concessions made by management. We hired 2 M&aT to move us from our ground level apartment to a 1 story home with a basement. I was very specific when I called and informed them that we had 2 garages full of boxes and furniture from our previous move, in addition to the furnishings from the apartment. The movers showed up on time (8:30) and began to work after I showed them what we had. These two men worked very slowly in the first garage. Near the 4 hour mark I received a call from the office asking how things were going. I told him how slowly things were moving, and that they hadnt even filled the truck yet. I was offered another crew to work alongside the first two, but declined at that time. The movers left the first garage and went to the second garage. They left (with a full load) to go to lunch near the 5 hour mark. 5 HOURS. Yes, there was furniture in the garages. The remainder were sealed totes and boxes from our last move. These items came right off the PODS and into the garages where they sat for a year. At this point, I was at lunch with friends that offered to help move my large tv and other delicate items. I received a call back from the manager (my request) and he asked again if I would like another crew at the full rate. This time I agreed, as I didnt see how the first two were going to finish it all. The first crew had arrived at my new home (only a 10 minute drive from my apartment) after their lunch (after 1:00) and began to unload the truck. Another two man crew arrived at the house with another truck close to 2:00. These 4 men took over 2 hours to unload the truck. 2 HOURS, and the only stairs we have lead to the basement. They did try to put the marked boxes where they belonged, but many things were haphazardly left in the garage. The four men left in 1 truck for the apartment, and arrived at 4:45. At this point, the first garage was 90% empty, and the second garage was 75% empty. Not a thing had been moved from the apartment. I told the movers I could only pay them to work until 6:00, and they finally kicked into gear. They only grabbed things from the apartment and left for the house. They unloaded quickly, gave me my bill, gave me an estimate revision AFTER they were done, and left. At this point, my bill was over $1650 and I was left with an unfinished move. Several pieces of furniture and boxes were left in the apaetment and the second garage. I called the next business day to voice a complaint. The manager politely listened and offered a 2 man crew that day for a couple hours free of charge. I accepted this offer. The 2 men that showed up to finish the job were a perfect example of what this company should be. They worked their tails off to make things right, and offered apologies on behalf of the company for the prior lackluster work. One man unloaded the garage into the truck while the other man emptied the apartment. This second man actually ran from the truck to get more from the apartment. He moved all the remaining furniture by himself, including a queen size mattress and box spring. These two men had the truck loaded with everything I asked them to move in less than 90 minutes. They met us at the house and unloaded in less than 30 minutes. Then, with the time they had left, they asked if they could move the leftover items in the houses garage into their proper rooms. They worked as hard as they could in the time they had and impressively finished the job in under 3 hours. I had also asked the manager for monetary compensation. This move should not have cost over $1650. He offered to cut the rate from the 2nd crew in half (they worked 4 hours) and said this was the best he could do. My final charge was a little over $1400. 2 stars, 1 for mangement working for a resolution, 1 for the 3rd crew that actually worked hard. I cannot recommend this company, you just dont know if youll get the A-Team, or the D-Team.

DISREPUTABLE COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The courteous tone you put forth to the readers is quite different to the nasty arrogant attitude I experienced. As far as your so called 97% positive rating goes I suspect you and your friends are posting to attain it. Also even 97% is not so great in my book! How about striving for 100%? In other words even with your inflated ratings one in 25 people can expect to be very unhappy! That does not include the numerous number of dissatisfied people who dont go through the effort to post. I can tell you I have to be exceedingly unhappy to go through the trouble!!! By the way folks, no one from TOW MEN and A TRUCK has called me to discuss the games they play. They believe they have all the power over you because you scheduled, you now need them and you have no other choices when moving day arrives and they dont. Then its all on their terms. DO YOURSELVES A FAVOR FOLKS AND HIRE ANOTHER MOVING COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used them in the past twice. I decided to expound on this a little, after the reply. I believe you should find another company, this one is just looking to make as much money as possible. I had a broken pipe upstairs that flooded the house. I had to move my belongings from the upstairs to a storage unit on March 9 2017. (I wonder how many people with the name Samuel A they cheated on March 9?) They estimated 4.5-6.5 hours. I called at 12p to see if I could delay the movers from 1 to 2. They said I would have to pay for them to wait at their headquarters, so basically pay them $115 to sit. I told them to go ahead and come at 1. The movers moved so slow and made sure they fell in the latter part of the estimate. Actually, they were on pace to surpass the estimate. When I complained to the office, they seemed to bang around the furniture a bit initially and then calmed down. Also they didnt plastic wrap some of the old furniture I was hoping they would, like nightstands, piano and dressers. Anyways, the entire move should really have taken 2.5 - 3.5 hours and not 6. Because I complained, they sent a manager down and he helped and sped up the process otherwise it would have taken even longer. He said they didnt pack the truck well and frankly i wouldnt be surprised if something is broken. I should have watched the entire move from the truck into the storage unit, but I went away for a bit. He also gave a 1/2 hr credit. I still believe I paid $150-200 more than I should have. When I move my belongings from storage back into the house, I will definitely find another company.
