I spent what seemed like endless hours searching for a set of old Valley 2 handled shower valves. None of the big box stores carried them, neither did some of the plumbing specific parts houses in the Littleton area either. So I figured I had No choice but to order them online and wait 2 days to take a shower. The online vendor did not inform me that the parts were backordered even though I paid for two day shipping AND the website showed the parts in stock! I was livid! I started calling every plumbing supply store within a 50 mile radius and FINALLY Do-it-ur-self had the parts in stock! Not only were they in stock, but the clerk had them sitting on the counter ready for me to pick up. I highly advise buying from local businesses as opposed to a big box store or online retailer that wont be able to deliver (both figuratively and literally in my case).

These guys are pretty much amazing. I had to make several minor repairs on my boiler and they had all the parts and walked me through the entire process. They also went through the pictures I took of the system and gave me suggestions for upgrades and maintenance. As a young woman going into hardware or autoparts type stores, I am often treated like an idiot. While I had no real knowledge of boilers prior to attempting these projects, everyone I have dealt with at Do-it-ur-self has treated me with utmost respect and explained everything in a non-condescending and helpful manner. I cant say enough good things about this place and I plan to use them for anything else that comes my way to be repaired.

I came home to a freezing house on Christmas Eve, before any businesses were open. I called around all over town and only got one answer from an HVAC service who wanted to charge $400 to replace the igniter in our furnace. After doing a little research and figuring I could replace it myself, I called some supply shops in town. Do-It-Ur-Self was the only shop to answer my call, and while they were technically closed, the owner stayed open long enough for me to pick up the part, and took the time to answer my questions about the problem and made sure I had the right replacement part. All on a holiday. Will definitely be back, and Id highly recommend them.

My furnace ignitor went out last night, giving me no heat in my house. I have two small children, so we could not go a night without heat. After making a series of calls it seems that DIY Plumbing and Heating is the only place in the Denver metro area that carries furnace parts for the public. Robert from DIY waited, after hours, for an additional 30 minutes so that I could drive down and get the part I needed. I am very grateful for their generosity! They also have a pretty sweet showroom. If you are making any kitchen/bath remodels, its worth checking out.

My blower motor had went out on my ac/ furnace unit. After looking around for two weeks and talking with everyhvac person I knew I could not get the part I needed. There wasnt a Hvac supplier that would sell to the public and when I did find one they would upswell the hell out of it. I finally found do it yourself plumbing and the people were helpful and knowlegable. I just brought my old motor in and they checked to make sure it was bad and then explained how to hook up the new replacement. Couldnt be happier and cooler. Thanks do it yourself I will be back!

This is the most useful and most knowledgeable place we have visited in a long time. The gentleman at store was very informative and walked us trough how to trouble shoot the furnace. Saved us time and money by pointing out that the piece we were about to replace was not broken. He genuinely seemed to care and wanted to help us out. He explained the entire process of the heating involved with the furnace and showed us step-by-step what to do. We’re definitely going back to Do It Yourself Plumbing and Heating Supply. Awesome store, even better employees.

I have been using these guys for a few years now and they have saved me a stink load of money. I was recently quoted $11k for the installation of a new boiler and with Ricks help I did the job in 3.5 days and for about $3k which includes the purchase of some new tools. I cant think of a time that I have been so happy with service from a company. If I got into a bind Id call the shop, explain the issue to Rick and hed have me dialed in within a few minutes. My house is warm, my wallets fatter and I didnt waste a bunch of my time.

My bathroom sink had a broken seal that I could not find anywhere. Found Do-It-Ur-Self plumbing on the net. Went there and Rick was very helpful. He spent more than 20 minutes digging out from warehouse and found exactly what I needed. Price was very reasonable. This is really a good place to find out-of-production parts (amd new stuff for sure)! If you cant find it here you probably will not be able to find it anywhere. Highly recommended!

Needed a replacement furnace ignitor. Called ahead, gentleman answered that they had the one I needed lightning quick. Arrived later that day to purchase -- very friendly and prompt service, was on my way very quickly! Item was more expensive than I had found online, but I expected this and was glad to have the product quickly as my home was getting cold! Will definitely return if my luck in home plumbing or heating requires again.

Ive been using Do-it-ur-self Plumbing for nearly 25 years, and it is the best. The employees, especially in the parts department are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The prices are fair and the service is great, what more could you want. I addition to a wide selection of state of the art kitchen and bath fixtures, hey also carry antique fixtures that you will not find elsewhere. Fantastic!

This company saved me a lot of money and was very helpful. After doing research on how to replace a furnace blower-motor after another company gave me an outrageously high bid to do the work for me, this company provided a replacement unit for a great price and helped troubleshoot over the phone (I had trouble because I accidently knocked a wire loose). Overall great experience!

We love this store! Were remodeling our master bath and have used them for several projects. They have spent lots of time helping us decide on hardware and bath fixtures. Their deliveries always come as promised and they are great about answering questions and helping to locate extra parts. My husband remembers coming here in the 70s with his dad...we wouldnt go anywhere else!
