I "fel" in love with FelFel after just two visits. Everything about this restaurant is appealing, from tasty, HOT pita, falafel and salads, to the friendly owner who greeted us with a warm smile. On both visits, we ordered up front in the fast-casual manner. The menu offers typical mid-eastern fare, plus pastries and desserts; and our kebabs, falafel, hummus and colorful salads were artfully presented at our table on a real plate. Before I even ate my first bite, I was impressed with the visual appeal of the plate ~ obviously, details count at this restaurant. They are not just serving up food, but seem to genuinely care about the diners experience. Sad to say, most restaurants at this price level are just dishing it up; not paying close attention to detail (with a flourish of hummus and garbanzo garnish, for example) as they are doing at FelFel. My dinner didnt disappoint in taste, either. Bright green tabbouleh is bursting with fresh parsley, lemon, garlic and quinoa. Shrimp kebab was perfectly grilled and seasoned. Brown rice is fluffy and good with tahini sauce. Fresh baked pitas are fluffy as pillows. And the falafel are spiced and hot (you cant engineer this, its only possible when really fresh). Overall, I got the feeling that trained cooks are preparing the food (you can watch them) and have a vested interest in the outcome. One complaint? Grilled onions were so delicious, I would have enjoyed a few more. Ive been eating mid-eastern food around Denver for 25 years, and FelFel is destined to become a repeat destination. Its not that easy to find hot, tasty, freshly made falafel in the suburbs; and served with a genuine smile, this is one place youll want to try for yourself.

Came here last night with my partner, and boy, was it the best decision we made all day. The owner and all of the employees were all smiles as soon as we walked in, with very genuine greetings of "How are you?" and "Were so glad youre here!" The owner/manager (I assume) talked to us briefly about their mission to use grass-fed, humanely raised meats and fresh vegetables, and told us that everything going into their savory lunch/dinner options is cooked on-site. I might add here that it smelled delicious as soon as wed walked in, so I had no reason to doubt him. We ordered two sandwiches: a chicken shawarma pita and a beef shawarma lavach (wrap), as well as two pieces of baklava for dessert. The owner/manager also offered us two falafels for free to taste, since it was our first time in the restaurant, which I thought was very generous. Everything was delicious. Let me repeat that, so you understand how strongly I feel about their food: EVERYTHING was delicious. The meats were tender and flavor-packed, the wrap and pita warm, the veggies seasoned well and well-proportioned in the sandwiches to the meat. The falafels were possibly the best that Ive ever had. The baklava (which is also made on-site) was a fantastic end to the meal, and we went back up to get extra to take home. From start to finish, my experience here was excellent. Ive tried a few other shawarma/gyro/falafel places in the area, and none of them even compare. So happy to have found my go-to Mediterranean spot!

The food here is excellent and puts the other Greek place (Tzikis) to shame. The staff here started to recognize and welcome my wife and I back after only a few visits. We have tried most of the menu and have yet to find anything that wasnt fantastic. Even got a chance to speak with the owner on one of our visits, he was delighted to have us in and even offered us some baklava while we waited for our to-go order. At times my wife and I have thought we are cursed when it comes to getting food to go as we both work in the industry and nearly everytime we go somewhere an order gets messed up in some manner; However, Fel-Fel has never once messed up a single item on our order and even if a mistake were to eventually happen I have confidence that they would promptly and courteously correct it for me as they provide some of the most genuinely friendly service I have experience from anywhere in a long while. Thank you for the amazing food! Keep it coming!

I previously wrote a negative review on this place. I was having a bad day. Ive been back on several occasions since then, and they have been wonderful. The owner knows you when you walk in. Youre a regular by the 2nd or 3rd visit. They have gluten free vegan falafel. Its delicious! The menu boards identify safe choices for me. The hummus is just the right amount of creamy, garlicky, and olive oil. Tonight I find myself craving their falafel and hummus. Theyre remodeling right now and are closed. I can not wait to go back when they reopen. I hope its soon. Im hungry! I have several friends who love it too. The prices are great, and they have gluten free -not vegan chocolate torte. Its delicious! Also, order the grape leaves. Sooo yummy. Im a good cook, and my grape leaves dont even compare. Dont take my word for it, give them a try. If you did try and were unimpressed, go again. Let them make it up to you.

This place is always clean, the owner, Ishmael, make sure every employee meet his standards of cleanliness. When the place first opened, it was exceptional. When the chef went to Michigan for his granddaughters graduation, the quality dropped to a low. When Ishmael fired the chef, the quality went down hill. I did go back after a few months to try some items: dolma, toffee bar, and something else. After biting into the dolma, I did spit it out (dry like an old fart), then the desert was the only thing I would go and eat. The toffee bar tasted like out had a lot of baking soda. So I stopped getting that. For the bar I dont recall the name tasted stale. Now I dont eat there for anything. Anytime I want that region of food, Ill fix it myself, go to Ishmaels cousins eateries, or have one of my Iraqi family members take care of my craving.

We couldnt decided where to eat lunch one day so we turned to the "Wheel of Lunch" (Google it if you dont know what it is, it found this place for us!) none of us had ever heard of the place and we had driven by it a few times. We decided to check it out and now we literally eat there 3-4 times a week. So far everything we have tried (there is a group of us that work together that go) has been excellent. The place is clean, the people are nice and the staff goes out of their way to make things right....even if it isnt their fault. I forgot to order no tomatoes on my salad, the owner saw me picking them off and had a whole new salad made for me. I tried to refuse and he wasnt having it! This is my go to place from now on, I wish there was one up North where I live I may never cook again!

This is THE best Middle Eastern restaurant Ive been to, and great service! When you come in, the first thing you notice is the savory smell, probably from the shawarma. We were given a generous sample slice of balaclava when we came in, and since we were new, the young man behind the counter gave us an explanation of what shawarma was and what we could order. My beef shawarma was delicious. The flatbread seemed like it had just come out of the oven, and the tahini was nice and tangy. They were very generous with helping sizes. One lunch can easily become a lunch and a dinner. My sister ordered a falafel wrap, and she said it was great. Hers also was enough for two meals. The balaclava was perfect: sweet without being "drenched" or sticky. We ordered some extra to take home.
