My Infiniti G37X was rear ended at high speed on a clear day as traffic gradually slowed. My brake lights were on for 10-15 seconds but the driver was obviously distracted (?). This accident could not have occurred at a worse time for me personally facing a busy work schedule and two major and unrelated surgeries. On a Friday, a few minutes after the accident, Mike took my call at closing time and wanted to stay open after hours to meet me. He was extremely calm and understanding on the phone. The shop was very busy with recent winter weather storm cases piled up, but they took my car in immediately. I had used there services once before at the recommendation of Mike Ward Infiniti. The damage to my car was significant. The bumper, trunk floor, rear bulkhead, and almost entire exhaust system was crumpled and pushed forward. Brian took one careful look at the car and stated with confidence (and experience with G37s) that it could be repaired and restored to pre-accident condition (minor things like exact spot weld locations that you dont see will always be slightly different from factory in a correct repair). I am very detail orientated and could not be happier with the repair. I popped in once in the middle of the repair when my car was prepped with the new trunk floor and rear bulkhead ready to be welded in. The attention to detail setting up for this step was very apparent and the technician was just terrific...calmly and purposefully going about the task, taking his time, making sure everything was correct. He was also very kind and knowledgeable to talk to. The car turned out really nice and drives as good as ever. The paintwork is excellent and the fit of the body panels (especially considering the amount of damage involved) is really impressive. Unfortunately (but I suspect typical), the hardest part of the repair was dealing with the at-fault drivers insurance company. Mike and Brian know what they are doing in this area and really go to bat for the customer. Post accident and initial repair, a particular computer code showed up from the damage to the exhaust system (the car had to be driven for a while to trigger it). Mike and Brian (along with Mike Ward Infiniti) seamlessly took care of it. In closing, I am extremely satisfied with my experience. Hampden Auto body is terrific family-run business. They take a lot of pride in their work and treat you like a person vs. a number. I think many folks dont realize the complexity of these repairs and focus only on a quick fix. Personally, I want my car repaired correctly, by experienced and detail-orientated technicians who are not rushed, and to as close to factory as possible. That is why Hampden Auto Body is a great fit for me.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE FROM PEOPLE WHO CARE ABOUT YOU AND YOUR CAR From the initial consult to a challenging insurance situation to the finished work, Hampden Auto Body (HAB) did a phenomenal job on my car. This is a family-owned shop thats consistently ranked as one of the top body shops in Denver for a reason. They pride themselves on delivering top-notch customer service, and thats exactly what they did for me: – When I called HAB for the first time to ask about the general repair process, it was just after the shop had closed for the day. But Mike Ross, the owner, patiently answered all my questions and explained what my options were well after the time hed normally have gone home for the day. Whats more, he didnt pressure me to bring my car in to his shop—he just wanted to help me out. He was genuine, knowledgeable, and laid-back. – Mike worked with me to understand my financial situation and what would be the best solution to repair my car. – Mike did a great job in handling the inherent challenges with the insurance company to justify a supplemental check that they issued to meet my repair needs. – Mike persistently searched for quality replacement parts at good prices, with an emphasis on safety. – Mikes team did high-quality work! My new bumper and trunk looked fantastic and like-new, making me proud and excited to drive my car again. – Mikes team went the extra mile in a few notable ways: (1) In repairing my trunk, they gave it an extra two coats of paint, which will prevent the original silver color from showing if the trunk gets lightly scratched in the future. (2) Much to my surprise, they fully cleaned and detailed my car really well—rust stains that I didnt think could come off were gone, the wheels and hubcaps looked like-new, the inside was vacuumed, the windows were spotless and streak-free, and the interior smelled nice. – Mikes team pays attention to detail. For example, when reattaching my rear license plate, they replaced the existing two screws Id been using since I bought the car in 2005 with four brand-new ones. It was a little thing that said a lot about how they run their business. The best part about my experience with HAB is that because of their efforts, I was able to keep my car without it being totaled or having to pay out-of-pocket to fix it, which was vitally important to me because I wasnt at fault in the accident. And HAB didnt just restore my car to its former condition, they ended up upgrading it with the parts they used and the quality of the repair work they did. I couldnt be happier with the level of care and professionalism HAB showed. Should my car ever need work in the future, I know wholl be fixing it.

I am so disappointed in the shop! I was told on Friday my car was on the rack and they would know everything by Monday. Tuesday I was told they were almost finished with the discovery on it Id know by morning. Today I was told they need an additional 3 or 4 more days to finish the discovery on it. This is unacceptable they have had my car for over a week now more then enough time for the discovery and anything else. My insurance company is now arranging for my car to go to anther shop and will no longer recommend Hampden Auto Body to anyone! My Insurance company finely had to send an adjuster out and totaled my car after waiting 3 weeks to hear back from this shop. January 7, 2014: Revived a call from Mark today complaining about my review. More or less I am wrong he never told me the things I was told (insert eye-roll here)! And because of my unfavorable review he wont ever do business with me again! Really Mark, you think I will bring any cars back to a shop that lied and kept me waiting 3 + weeks? Then have the nerve to call and expect me to remove my bad review? I will tell anyone and everyone to take their cars to Hopps auto body down the road. Now there is a reliable and trust worthy auto body shop! I stand by my original review, and find it very disrespectful that Mark thinks it is alright to call someone and try and bully them into removing a bad review! Too bad I cant give an even worse review then this one.... All I can say now is two thumbs down!

Mike Ross and his team are one of the most hard working, caring, honest, professional, and efficient group of people Ive ever met in my LIFE. Ill honestly say it was a blessing finding them after my car accident a few years ago. Mike dealt with my insurance as he repaired my car-while I recovered from my injuries with complete peace of mind. And now, a few years later, needing other minor repairs to my brand new car-Mike & his team showed me the same honesty, care and hard work that they did a couple of years ago. They took SUCH good care of me, and I will forever be grateful to him, his family, and his amazing team.
