I am usually hesitant with standard car places, but I was very impressed with this Midas. As a disclaimer, I have a very unique car. I have a 190E Merc from 1993. You dont really see these cars anymore. Ive only seen 3 other cars like this in the two-plus years Ive owned this car. She is a great little car, but when I have to get repairs, it is a process and is typically very difficult. Im used to it at this point. I was getting new wheels on my car, and the technicians immediately noticed I was wearing the tires out on the left side, so I knew that it was worth getting a four-wheel alignment. So I brought it in to get that done, but the tie rod underneath the car was stuck and there was no way to adjust it. I presume it was the original on the car. Being an old and unique car, finding parts is incredibly difficult (the last time parts were manufactured for this model was 2004). They were, understandably, unable to find the parts. However, without any prompting whatsoever, they agreed to install the parts and do the alignment for free if I found the parts. Most standard places like this would have given up and said sorry they couldnt help. Ive had it happen before and I wouldnt have been upset if they had said it, I understand that my car is a pain when it comes to repairs. But they went above and beyond and truly proved that they are a great shop. The whole time they were happy to work with me and find a solution which worked out great. Since Ive had this done, the car is smoother and is running better. I highly recommend these guys.

Super slow, been here more than 2 hours. Came for a oil change no one was in line took 45 minutes. Then they came with a list of things to do, I agreed to a brake fluid flush and transmission flush. Apparently the transmission flush requires the transmission pan to be removed on my car, but they didnt tell me this till they started extra $90. Now Im told they are having a hard time getting the transmission filter for my car and I need to continue waiting. My car is not exotic, it is a Pontiac. If you cant do the work dont sell it. Came in for quick service, now here going on 212 hours and they still dont have part. Had other things to do today, will never come back. Now almost 4 hours they cant get the pan back on that they took off. This is ridiculous, they gave me a card for a free oil change, like I would ever come back. 4 hours plus of my time is worth more than a oil change. This is just ridiculous! Just finished they did refund me for the transmission flush, and the were nice, so I can give them that. My oil change was supposed to have a tire rotation and that doesnt appear to have happened as my rear tires still have more tread than the front, but cannot spend any more time on this. The people thar helped ne at the counter were very nice and I appreciate the refund, but overall this was not a satisfactory experience.

I have never dealt with a garage so unwilling to take my business. Took my car there 3 times and each time the service tech says something like, "Yeeeeeaaahhhh, the thing is, we are SLAMMED right now so its gonna be at least an hour and a half." First time I said sure, Ill bring it back. Second time, it was early in the day and I had called ahead to see if they had time, so I was a little annoyed. Whatever, Ill bring it back. Third time, called ahead and was told that they could get me in, so I bring my car in and this service tech gives me his line and makes it abundantly clear that he does NOT want to change my oil today. If you dont have time, that is fine, but dont tell me on the phone that you do and then waste my time with these service techs who have one foot out the door at 4 oclock. The thing is, these guys dont want to change your oil any time after 11am because those are their "peak hours". Ill be taking my money recommendations elsewhere.

If youre into being verbally attacked and harassed before getting your car worked on, come on down to Englewoods Speedee/Midas. The few times Ive been here, the process has been pleasant enough. Most of the service bay techs are friendly and eager to do a good job. The manager is what turns this standard shop to an extraordinary one. After making some unsettling remarks about how she thinks about burning her workplace down, one wonders why she is still around spreading her toxicity to customers and the employees she oversees. From overly thick sarcasm, eye rolls, followed by occasional half hearted apology for her crass attitude, you would assume her job is to try and get the customer to leave and never come back. Well congratulations, mission accomplished.

Went in for a diagnostic. Turns out a critter got into my engine and ate throw some transmission wires. They also called to tell me that my battery terminals and rear breaks needed to be replaced (which I knew already). I approved the work and had them change the oil as well. They had all the work done in about 3 hours and cost about $500. I would give 5 stars, but when I complemented how fast they were he told me they had half the work done when he called me for approval. I had every intention of getting all the work done already but they didnt know that and shouldve asked considering I just wanted a diagnosis. Overall good service and speedy work though.

My multiple expirences here, have been costly..not only am I paying them to do things that never needed to be done because they said it needed it, but after I leave I then have to pay more money to another shop to fix it.. They replaced a part under "warranty" and now Im paying hundreds of dollars for another mechanic to fix what they cant get right, and messed up! Every time I go here I spend more and more money, its by far the worst shop Ive been to, and the worst unknowledgeable mechanics Ive ever dealt with!! A simple job turned into me paying hundreds there, and then hundreds at another shop!! Ill never go back for a warranty or not!

My husband Tony and I came here today to get a high mileage oil change on our Malibu. The manager was extremely friendly and took the time to explain the whole process to us and give us sound advice about servicing our cars. This Midas is extremely LGBTQ friendly. We felt so welcomed and left with more knowledge about our vehicles and vehicles in general. We are grateful and thankful for the service. We are also delighted by how personable all the personnel was.

It is hard to find honest and reliable car care these days. I have been in to this location on multiple occasions for work ranging from oil changes to window repairs and other random car questions . I am never disappointed. They do not charge for work that is unnecessary and keep it real. I will not go anywhere else. Every time I have been in here all the staff is super friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and dont waste your time going anywhere else.
