My two experiences here have been unreliable with a poor job being done and unclear communication from the employees. Firstly I took my Toyota in due to a check engine light which they diagnosed as a O2 sensor in the exhaust. They said I needed to replace the exhaust due to rust, and so it was done. After I got the truck back, I found they had replaced the factory exhaust with a cheaper aftermarket exhaust with a DIFFERENT exhaust diameter than the factory exhaust my truck came with. A different exhaust diameter affects performance and mileage, and this information was NEVER disclosed to me. But, on top of that, the repair was done incorrectly, and the exhaust was not positioned right. Therefore the exhaust banged on the driveshaft constantly while driving. This could potentially bend the exhaust and restrict airflow further (beyond the already-smaller-diameter restriction). I had to take my truck back into them to have the new exhaust redone properly. The next time I went in was for a 4wd fluid change. After I picked up my truck from that (which btw took much longer than I was told), I found that there was a knocking/clicking coming from the undercarriage when turning and reversing! The next morning when I awoke to take my truck back again for the gear knocking, I found that it had leaked oil all over the driveway! My truck has never leaked a drop of oil before this. I took my truck BACK to the shop, and they told me there was NO knocking/clicking, and there was NO leak. They blatantly told me I was wrong and I guess have no idea what Im talking about. I said I didnt agree and that I wanted them to fix their mistakes, and they agreed to keep it. So I walk home, and later that afternoon realize I left something in my truck I needed. So hours later I had a friend bring me to get that stuff out of my truck (amazingly they still hadnt called saying it was ready), and when I got there I saw they had just parked it in the lot and werent working on it, and WORSE, they had left it there totally unlocked! I had valuables in that car. I went in and asked them why it wasnt locked and they said they forgot, and asked me if I would lock it when I get my stuff from it. How about you lock it, Christian Brothers?! You have the keys and you are responsible! In addition, after their proclaimed "no leak, youre wrong", I looked under the car in the lot and there was a small pool of oil where it had been leaking! Long story short, after TWO MORE DAYS, they "fixed" the gear knocking which they said they didnt cause. I asked them how and they told me that they "didnt know. We just went to town tightening things." Do you think Im an idiot, Christian Brothers? Obviously you know what the issue was hat you caused. How can you lie to a customer like this? And then, they FINALLY admitted that there was a leak coming from the transfer case and that it could be detrimental to drive it that way. I was furious at this point because twice before that they tried to send me on my way and claimed that I was wrong about the leak. What if I had driven it and done thousands of dollars of damage? Christian Brothers mechanics I guess dont know their butts from a hole in the ground. I asked for them to fix the leak, because they caused it. The leak from the transfer case began immediately after they replaced the oil in the transfer case. Never before they touched it, and immediately after they finished it. When I said this to them they claimed no responsibility. When I asked how the leak SUDDENLY started after they worked on that very part, Christian Brothers literally claimed it was a "coincidence". So I then took my truck to a new place and paid $350 to have the leak fixed. Thanks. That was my SECOND experience here. Then, days later, Christian Brothers called me to ask my satisfaction. I told them I was not satisfied, and they responded by saying "Well, you will receive a call from us soon to work it out. We want you to be satisfied and want to fix it." I was glad to hear this. It has been over 2 weeks since that call. They never called back.

Christian brothers got the work done. Did it correctly. But took longer then a week both times I took my car. Idk about anyone else, but I need my car to get to work.. and having it gone from Monday-Friday when it was a 3 day job at most is annoying. Second time took it in, and it took 2 days for them to even get my car apart to not even find the problem. Again.. it got fixed.. after I was about to ask if I should start paying rent to keep my car there. Oh.. and both times I had to leave the work office to take time and call them just to keep checking up. They never called us. Never kept us updated. Oh. I cant forget the fact I called them 2 times now to try and see even when my car may be done, neither times did someone answer the phone. Definitely wont refer to anybody else in the HR area unless they dont need transportation for a month and like just show up and hope its done since they wont be calling you. Then to add to taking my car Monday-Friday, we go to drive there and check on the car, and they decided they wanted to take MY car and keep it locked up Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday, because they felt they needed an extended Christmas break, without notifying anybody it was going to be stuck there those days. By far the most unprofessional, inconsiderate experience Ive ever had in my entire life. Update: just got my car back. After exchanging conversation with the manager of Christian brothers they knew they were behind on my car and took responsibility for the mistake. They set aside a whole day to figure this dituation out, stayed late working, and came in early to assist me on getting my car back as soon as possible. They not only fixed my car up to brand new, but offered more then half of the bill to be on them. I did not feel that this was necessary and that was why it meant a lot that they offered this for me. They were very responsible for there actions and were very perfessional about the situation and handled it better then most. On top of that they offered a full oil change and used the best oil to replace it with. Not only did I get a great deal, but I got my car back basically brand new, and was given some of the best customer service I had seen in a while. Sometimes business can build up and get crazy, understandable, but Christian brothers made it right by me and did more then just make it up to me. Amazing employees, great service, just not always the best timing (which isnt there fault 100%). I can say I would trust them to take my car again and plan to do future business through them.

Follow up on my review. After leaving my review on yelp I was then contacted by the owner stating they were then willing to fix my car that was supposed to be under warranty if I would take the yelp review down. (I find it funny they werent going to fix it before) (only willing to do the right thing for appearances) I was more than willing to modify my review if they were going to do the correct thing. I called to confirm to get my axle replaced for the second time. (They were only going to reboot it) My new mechanics stated that they should replace the whole thing because it was under warranty and rebooting it would cause problems/damages down the line because dirt had probably gotten in it. I asked them if rebooting it would cause damages compared to replacing it and they lied straight to me (which I have recorded) also after damages they told me I was safe to drive (which I have recorded) and I was informed by other mechanics I was not. Anyways after finally having them agree to redo the axle I thought I would be done with this issue. I come in they redo the axle (in only a few hours which is supposed to be an "all day job" that they quoted when I first got the work done( so they can charge more for maintenance) my other mechanic and I marked the old axle to make sure they really did replace it. Which they did. Finally I leave thinking finally all this grief is over with. To find when I immediately leave my ABS light and traction light were on and the whole car was vibrating. Hysterical I go back in. They reinspect the car. And tell me my rim is bent and that is what caused the problems. My rim was not bent before because I had recently replaced my rims at discount tire and had all brand new tires put on. Greg the owner said he would replace the rim for free "to do the right thing even though it wasnt their fault" He tells me its safe to drive though . (which I have recorded) he orders the used rim some days later it gets in and I pick it up. They tell me they dont do it there so I had to pay to get Wal-Mart to install it for me. After they install it the car becomes increasingly worse in sound. I then take it to my new mechanics who look at it and tell me Christian Brothers forgot to put a bolt in it and they broke my sensor on the car and just reset the codes so I wouldnt know. I now have to pay for more damage that Christian Brothers caused. DO NOT GO HERE! I will be posting phone conversations and images and estimate pictures soon.
