Great place to get your car fixed! Ive had two major problems over the last four months with my car, and after the Pro Auto Care team took a look, my Civic is running great! Theyll take a few days to really determine what is wrong, and they even sweep the entire car for future problems, which I appreciate. Once the problem is determined, theyre swift in fixing the issue. I docked a star due to poor communication--theyll keep your only form of transportation for a few days, but they dont really call with updates once they determine the problem and get the OK to fix it. Most of the time, its me calling just to see if its finished... That aside, you cant argue with the quality of work. My last issue--complete replacement of the power steering pump and power steering rack--was finished in three days, and they gave me a 2 year warranty on the work. I took it home and drove it over the weekend, where I noticed a strange noise that definitely wasnt present before the work was completed. I took it back on Monday, and Joe identified the problem as a bad power steering pump (which theyd replaced for me last week). He put another new one in, double-checked that this one wasnt making any odd noises, and didnt charge me a dime. While I wish it had been done correctly the first time, I was very impressed with the no-questions-asked fix, especially considering the noise didnt affect the performance of the first pump. Overall, great place. And if you live close by, theyll even drop you off at home and pick you up when your car is done! I appreciated that, because it meant I didnt have to rely on my roommate to carpool me around. Thanks, Pro Auto Care!

On June 16, 2015 I had my truck serviced at Pro Auto. They charged me over $2100.00 to tune-up the vehicle, replace the valve cover gasket, install new shocks, and replace the ball joints. I had to return the next day because they did not reconnect one of the EGR valve hoses. There has been a loud metallic banging sound coming from the rear of my vehicle since they replaced the shocks. I just discovered that the right rear shock was only connected at the bottom. The top of the shock was never fastened to the vehicle. The control arms and ball joints they installed make so much noise it is unbelievable, and the truck is misfiring on two different cylinders. I am going to have to pay a real mechanic to fix the damage they have done to my vehicle, or fix it myself. I have never dealt with such incompetent mechanics in my entire 49 years of existence. Pro Auto is by far the worst auto shop I have ever encountered.

Overall I was pleased. The staff are helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and they take time to explain whats wrong with your car if you ask. The facility is very good for a car shop; clean, comfortable. I think i went in for an alignment a while back, and they did the job right and for a fair price. This Littleton location seems to be more on top of things as compared to the Denver location; They just seem to reach out more to the customers, but both locations are good. My only critique is that they are more pricey than other shops and that they will point out everything (and I mean everything) that is wrong with you car even if its not that big of a deal or if the part really doesnt need to be changed yet. This can be a good an a bad thing since it keeps you informed but sometimes you could hold out in changing a part until its more necessary. Anyway, overall, I trust them and they do a good job.

Ive been to Pro Auto Care in Littleton 2 times in the last year for minor and major work on my old Toyota 4Runner. Every time they have been professional and treated me with respect. Also, they are upfront with cost and give me real advice on what repairs I absolutely need and repairs that can wait or ones I can do myself. I had to get a new alternator about 18 months ago and I took my Toyota to the shop on Evans in Denver - these guys were nice enough to let me come down and install my own new battery (after they replaced the alternator) on their lot which saved me a little cash. Their prices seem fair - not extremely low or high. I do appreciate the free loaner car that the have for customers if the repair takes more than a day. Ive been to some crappy "Toyota Certified" mechanics only to be highly disappointed. Pro Auto Care is a quality shop with good mechanics.

Going into the shop I had requested a diagnostic and was quoted $120. At the time of dropping my keys off I mentioned the issues I had formerly went to a mechanic for, but that there seemed to be electrical issues that I was looking to have diagnosed. After keeping my car for 5 days without contacting me about the progress or telling me about any issues found, they ended up charging me for an additional hour bringing the cost to $240, and when brought back to me all they had found were the issues that I told them to begin with. They claimed it took 8 hours to find those issues and that they were being "generous" by charging me for only two. When driving home after leaving the shop my car had far more issues than it had when I took it to the shop. No a/c working, radio didnt work, foglights no longer worked. They only damaged the car far more.

My sons car broke down in front of Pro Auto care (convenient right?) and they were able to take a look at it. I asked up front if there was charge to do a preliminary inspection and was told NO. They would not charge us unless we okd it. We were called the next day with an estimate, which was outrageous so we kindly declined and told them we would figure out how to get the car off their property. It was then that I was asked to pay an inspection fee. Unfortunately an argument ensued about the principle in being told an inspection was no charge then when service is declined being charged. To top it off, they hung up on me. Hmmm. I dont think that is appropriate or the right way to treat customers in such a customer service driven industry. Needless to say, we will never be using this auto shop and do not recommend them.

Randy was a stellar helper, and brought me in to the ProAuto Care fold! He helped me jump my car, that was on its last legs at the next door Conoco, and their evaluation kept me from driving to my usual light rail station, and potentially severely damaging the engine and power train. The fix was reasonably priced, but they also gave me an extensive list of deferred maintenance. I appreciate their attention to detail, but this is a beater car for the kids and I hope it handles horribly through corners at higher speeds! I was able to hoof it to the Littleton light rail station (although they offered me a ride) before and after. These guys were great! Completed the repair in one day, and provided good communication, and the price I paid was what Randy quoted. Thanks Pro Auto Care, Keith Ostrander
