I had Initially rented at Candlelight due to its proximity to my former residence in Golden, CO. The hours change based on unknown criterion. A simple search will show a close time of 7pm in one of the reviews; I was informed that the gates lock at 8pm, and a current search shows a close time of 5pm.
Avoid these units for their black widow infestation, poorly maintained and icy access areas and lack of any real customer service.

I have had a storage unit here for a year and needed something larger. I asked about it and Jim said he would let me know when the size I wanted came available. As usual, he follow through and called me when the size I wanted was available. Their autopay setup is helpful. I like the fact that it is not 24 hour access. The worst of things happen in the middle of the night and this place is locked up tight from 8pm to 6am. Someone else complained about the hours changing, but the have signs all over the gates stating the times they are open. I am not aware of the time changing recently. It is rare that I go to my storage unit and dont see someone there, which means that they are seeing anyone else that is around so that make me comfortable with the safety of the location as well. Great place!!

Because I was going to be out of state for 1- 2 years , I had to store my furniture. After checking the market and choosing your predecessor firm, I am very disappointed in my experience. I rented space, spent a $1,000 having my furniture moved. Then in a couple of months, you increase the rent $20/ month ) I assume to pay for your purchase. As your firm knew I was not there and could not afford to move the furniture twice, you had me. You could have waited at least until 12 months and then increased my rate, but, obviously the bottom line is more important then your customers. So if you are considering moving into StorQuest, build in a short term rate increase, because there contract is worded so they can. John Brown

I have ALWAYS gotten the very best customer service and I feel like the prices are the absolute best in town. Jim and Nic have gone out of their way to help me and respond VERY quickly to any calls or questions and concerns that Ive had. I will always refer anyone needing storage to call Candlelight FIRST because you will get the best service and pricing available in the Denver metro area. These guys are fantastic and I promise you wont be treated better anyplace in town. Some of the other places have ONLY rude agents to assist you but that wont happen at Candlelight because they treat you like youre the ONLY person in town!! Great job guys keep it up

I had been a loyal client for three years with Candlelight storage they offer great service at an affordable rate StorQuest came in bought them out and immediately raise their rates byt 60%. I currently pay almost double what I have been paying. There was a big wind storm that knockdown my roll up door off its track they cut my lock and put on theirs without my permission and did not fix the track properly I had to ask for three maintenance request to get it fixed properly. Your mileage may vary but the service has gone down and the prices going up. StorQuest defense is that their rates are comprable to anyone elses in the metro area

I have been a customer of Candlelight for nearly 5 years. The place is very secure (cameras, alarms on all units, gated access, on-site manager), and I have never had a problem with access. Gate hours are 7a-7p everyday. The office has standard business hours. The guy that runs the place is very nice and accommodating. Prices are lower than any where. The place is huge, so they will probably have the size that you need. I would highly recommend this place.
