FINAL UPDATE 1/18/2017 Changing my rating from 3 to 1 star after finally getting my alignment corrected at another shop. My new tires got toe wear on them in less than 2k miles. I went back to have the alignment checked again; although, I doubt they even looked at it. This wasted my time and productivity on multiple occasions, two new tires, and the cost of having the service done by a real mechanic. Heres the full story: Went in for an alignment job in November. I got my car back and found the boot over the steering gear was twisted around the inner tie rod making it liable to tear. Its an easy fix, but a red flag none-the-less. They did call ahead saying they needed to install jam bolts to the inner tie rods, which would increase the cost to around $320 -BTW this is a simple alignment made 3x more expensive by taking off the outer tie rods and threading common-sized nuts to the inner tie rod stud. I could do that in the parking lot in thirty minutes myself, but I agreed thinking it was worth saving time or at least being able to drive home in a safe-functioning vehicle. I came to find the bill was even higher than estimated by a large factor, but this time nobody told me about throwing on an extra $100. Its illegal to raise the bill without notice, but tricky to prove considering they did call once before about the increase before conveniently forgetting about the second increase. I paid the bill thinking they must have worked hard getting those wheels straight. So hard, in fact, the tech must have been so overwhelmed he forgot to close the hood after the service AND later in the week when I brought it back for a "quality assurance" check. I had to come back after finding the inner tie rods had not been removed from the vehicle nor had they ever needed to be. They fixed the billing problem - so no harm, no foul there. The most luck I had is when I asked for tires twice only to hear something like "yeah, yeah, well get you some," and never added insult to injury by installing mediocre tires to top the bad service. They did refund me for the work they didnt do, but itll never be worth the time and patience of having to work through all the unnecessary quality assurance appointments not to mention a battery of excuses and dismissive responses. I hope this helps.

I would say their prices are average. However their service is POOR. I bought tires here a few months back and thought everything was ok. They told me my car would be done by 3:00 pm. Showed up at 6:00 and it was not done. Finally finished at 6:30 and stood there waiting for 30 minutes TO PAY for my services. Literally just stood there while these guys talked and laughed and helped new customers that came in. They just kept saying to me "Gotta take care of new business first". I had just spent $700 on new tires, so needless to say I wasnt happy, but whatever got my tires and left. Then I brought the car in this week to get some minor services done. Dropped the car off the night before and was told things would be done by 8:00 am. I call at noon and things are not done. Call back at 3:00 and now they tell me my car isnt there and must be "Out for a test drive". This is not reassuring, and I dont know why a test drive would be necessary for the services I was having performed. They are nice guys when you talk with them, but unless you like having to babysit people you are paying good money to work on your car, then go somewhere else. I know I will not be going back.

Had to make 3 trips to their shop for a simple mount and balance onto new wheels. Left with vibration from the tires and the tire pressure system not functioning. Told me to come back to have the sensors checked. Second trip they cant "reset" the TPMS sensors and they hadnt done a proper balance so they scheduled an appointment the following week to redo the job. Turns out they didnt install the sensors on the new wheels. Leave the shop for the 3rd time, sensors working now but the vehicle cant go on the highway, the vibration is terrible. Without going into it more it was always something different on the phone vs in person. They simply didnt do the job correctly and instead of taking the time to do it right they gave me excuses. I took the vehicle to another Firestone location, they were quick, and fixed the previous shops errors. It was pretty obvious that the previous shop (the one on colfax) just doesnt care, they obviously either dont know how to balance a tire or simply didnt. The location on 44th off sheridan is much, much better. So nice to be able to drive on the highway again.

I use to love and trust Firestone but after today I have to say, there is no way I will ever use any Firestone for anything. I took my car there for a simple break repair, was called and told I needed over $1000 dollars worth of work done on it. Now first Id like to say, I had my car in last week for an oil change and they "said" they did a complementary inspection on my car and all was well. After taking my car someplace else for a second opinion I was told that everything but one of the things they quoted to me I did not need, and their cost was only $400 to repair it with a life time guarantee on the brakes! So I have to ask...Why does Firestone think it is okay to charge almost double for a simple break job, and do they encourage their car mechanics to fraudulently make up work to do so unsuspecting people will plainly get ripped off? Two thumbs down Firestone, you have lost a long time good costumer!

This firestone is amazing. They taught me that it costs $36 to replace a tail light. Grease Monkey told me it would only be $5 dollars to replace the light. Cmon, guys, it cant be that cheap. I mean, replacing a tail light is probably one of the hardest things you can do to a car. I would never trust a company that would only charge me $5. What if my tail light stops working and someone crashes into the back of my car because they cant see the right side of it. Seriously, this Firestone will gouge you whenever possible. I have decided to try another Firestone because my Father has had great experience with them in St. Louis. I will never go back to the Firestone at Colfax and Kipling. And not only are they trying to take you for a ride with your money, most of them are rude every time you talk to them.

I only take my truck here for alignments, because they offer a lifetime alignment for $119. This is the best deal around for alignments. Wouldnt take my truck there for anything else though. Ive been bringing trucks here for about 10 years. Currently I have a lifted rig and they are always able to get it within specs and its always feels right afterwards. My tires always wear down properly and even. Service has always been friendly and decent with me. I could see however if you arent knowledgible with cars that this place would seem a little unfriendly. I think thats why there have been some negative reviews, stupid questions (in thier eyes) get short answers. I mean come on you took your car in for a lightbulb replacement, I would sell you some brake light fluid.
