Kevin smith brought his Volvo in to Best Auto in early August 2009 . he asked for an evaluation and estimate for several concerns. His main concern was that the Volvo over heated on a long trips. We evaluated and repaired the over heating issue. we Gave him an estimate and advise on the rest of the repairs needed. A successful repair. YES! There was body damage to the driver side door. The Volvo rolled backwards as the tech was removing the scanner from inside the car. We apologized and supplied Mr. smith with a paid rent a car and delivered his Volvo to a local body shop for repair. We paid for all repairs and the rent a car. Mr. smith look it over and test drove it for several days and at that time he was completely satisfied with both repairs mechanical and body work. This was august 12 2009 In late Dec 2009 I received a call from Kevin he had some concern with the paint. I asked him to bring it by so I could see it. after many canceled appointments by Kevin he finally shoed up in Feb. I saw the paint from a distance it looked like it was scratched again. wanting to help Mr. Smith I offered to repaint that area for no charge (we had some paint left from the last repair) ask that he would leave it with us for one day. I offered him a rent a car for $25 a day. Mr. smith left and was going to return with the car. Later that day he called and demanding a paid rent a car and a new car door. He also stated he would write bad reviews about us if we did not agree to his request. I Joseph Bourche owner of Best Auto take pride in running a honest and professional auto repair. I have been serving Longmont since 1996. I value my integrity . please please ask others about Best Auto or come in to our shop and see the numerous letters we received Thanking for helping other customers. Thank you for your time.

BEST AUTO REPAIR is fantastic! I had high expectations and they managed to exceed those expectations! RESPONSE TIME: With my truck abandoned on the side of the road... they responded immediately by sending their tow truck to the rescue and getting all the repairs done in less than the expected time! I felt at ease driving away... as my truck was running better than ever before!!! KNOWLEDGE: I went to two other shops who claimed the rattle sounds were harmless and no problem yet they were wrong. I got to Best Auto just in time before the real issue turned into a disaster!!! RECOMMENDATIONS: I asked for them to look over the truck... and see what the issue was. They told me what was urgent and what could wait. The way they presented the issues was in a way I could understand and organize priorities. They saved the parts for me to look at and take pictures so I may further dispute other dishonest shops I used, prior to finding Best Auto Repair! CONCLUSION: I ended up with better repair work than the last 5 visits to two other shops... It was more than I expected to get for virtually the same amount of money I was expecting to spend. My invested time was minimal and it was the easiest and smoothest transaction Ive ever had with vehicle repair. I will use Best Auto Repair again and again. There arent many services like Best Auto out there in any industry, much less in the auto-repair industry. And did I mention that the owner Gregg has a wonderful kind and understanding personality? Best Auto is not only efficient, but their crew is an absolute joy as well. I have asked for a stack of business cards to give away to all my friends, family and strangers!!! THANK YOU BEST AUTO!!!

I have a son at CU Boulder who drives a Ford Escape that needed some work done. I live out of town so I looked online for a repair shop in the area that could handle a somewhat complicated repair (a failed O2 sensor because of a timing cover oil leak). The local dealership received mixed reviews and couldn’t get to our vehicle for 10 days. That’s when I found Best Auto in Longmont. From start to finish I received excellent service from the entire staff. They were able to schedule a diagnostic check of the problem the next day and started the repairs immediately. It was a labor-intensive two-day repair. The front desk staff (Sara and John) were knowledgeable and courteous and kept me regularly informed by email and phone about the status of the repair. The repair tech recommended a couple minor preventative repairs that took advantage of the labor involved and saved me hundreds of dollars in the long run. It is now a month later and the recurring issue (which was not accurately detected by several other shops) hasn’t given us any additional problems. And to top it off, since we needed transportation from Boulder to the shop (25-30 minutes away), both the owner (Gregg) and the manager (Mark) provided prompt door-to-door shuttle service. I would highly recommend Best Auto for any locals or CU parents looking for a repair shop in the area that they can trust to take care of their student’s vehicle.

I called and received a quote from Best Auto after hearing the $1,038 price tag from the dealer; Best Auto came in at $570. Based on all of the Google reviews, I thought I would give them a try. They fixed my truck for the price quoted and changed the differential fluid. As I was driving away, I heard a whirring sound that wasnt there before. They took the vehicle back in and did some investigation; turns out that there was an issue that was being masked and the addition of new (good) fluid caused the issue to resurface. Even though it wasnt their fault, Best Auto took it upon themselves to call the dealer and work with them to get the issue fixed under warranty. They took the truck over to the dealer, explained the issue, the dealer fixed it and Best Auto picked it up. They went WAY above and beyond what would be expected of them in any reasonable scenario. Ange was terrific in the whole process. I will bring my cars there from here on out and will strongly recommend them whenever someone is looking for a good, honest auto mechanic.

I am so grateful that my friend Vickie told me about Best Auto 5 years ago. I have told over 30 people about Best Auto and all of them are so happy I told them. Best Auto are very good car mechanics at very reasonable prices not to mention the Awesome Customer Service !!!! Jeremy Schatz is the best "car guy" Ive ever had. I can trust him (thats huge), he is very detail oriented, he explains things to me on my level which is very helpful, and he honestly tells me when I can wait to do a repair, or what needs to be done asap. All these things are so valuable to me as a busy small business owner who doesnt want to hastle with her car. I will continue to refer anyone who needs an honest mechanic to Best Auto.

Just had two of my vehicles worked on by Best Auto and the guys that work there. My cavalier was in need of brakes in the worst way, I took it to Joe and his techs fixed it right away, the car has never stopped this well from the day I bought it...... My Chevy truck had a coolant leak, someone told me it was a water pump, so I took it to Joe.... They showed me the leak, it was the intake manifold rather than the water pump, they put new gaskets on it and tuned it up for me, now it runs like brand new.... Keep in mind that the truck is an 88 chevy 1/2 ton with a LOT of miles on it...... I would recommend this shop to anyone that needed repairs done..... AWESOME JOB JOE, THANKS......
