Half of Denver cant be wrong. These guys are the best if you have a Subaru. I bought a Subaru Legacy last year, and after investigating repair and maintenance rates at several local dealerships and "Subaru-only" repair shops, I listened to what tons of my friends with Subarus were saying and made the call out to Golden to set up an appointment to figure out why my headlights werent working, as well as attempt to resolve several other electrical problems I was having at the time. The guy who answered the phone took the time to explain to me why the problems were happening and how to fix ALL of them, including the headlights. All were simple fixes and they could have easily had me bring it in for "several hours of diagnostics at $150/hour" (what one other subaru-specialty repair shop quoted me over the phone) to figure them out, but they didnt! And Im a girl. I hate to say it but its true, they could have easily tried to rip me off and instead told me how to fix my car over the phone. Who does that?! These guys are honest, fast, and reliable. I subsequently took my car in to have a battery terminal replaced and also for my 60K scheduled maintenance and was thrilled with the quick response and reasonable pricing both times Ive been in. I cant say enough about how easy these guys make dealing with car issues, and how easy they make it on the pocketbook as well. VERY REASONABLE, friendly and fast. I will not trust my car to anyone else.

A great place to go. Both my wife and I have Subarus and will only take them here. Very fair, honest, informative, and incredibly knowledgeable. I feel like I’m talking to the Car Guys on NPR when I go in there. All I have to do is tell him what is going on, and he knows what is wrong before he even looks at my car. Only services Subarus, but I wont take my cars anywhere else. I have many examples over the last 5 or 6 years since we found Buddy, but here is one: Called Subaru Dealership, and I have a broken wiring harness in the back of my car. Subaru quoted $750 to swap out the entire wiring harness for a new one. Called Buddy; he said he would splice the wires for $50. I dont care if I have a new wiring harness or if the wires just get spliced to get my electronics back up and working. That is why I wont go anywhere else. Sensible solutions for an honest price and done right. Lastly, my wife enjoys going there because she knows she will be treated with respect and they teach her about the car. I can’t say enough good things.

BEST MECHANIC EVER!!! If you are looking an honest, reliable, expert Subaru mechanic this is the place! Ive been going here since purchasing my first Subaru and I find their expertise is always dead on. They have proven their trustworthiness on multiple occasions. The first time I had visited them for a second opinion where a competitor told me I "needed a new transmission" for over $2000. They told me it was "noisy but wouldnt leave me stranded" and they were correct - I drove that transmission for about 50,000 more miles. In other cases where I was looking repairs they would give me an option then tell me if they would do it on their own car or not. Im blown away by these guys, they really know their Subarus. Note they do stay busy so when you make an appointment it may be a week or two out.

Buddy and family are great! I used to take my car to AutoNation for general maintenance until a friend turned me onto Mobile Mechanics. He said they only work on Subarus, and they are honest and do good work. They were right! I have always been so impressed with the way Buddy runs his business. They offer very fair prices, sure to be lower than the dealership prices. They are also fast. If you make an appointment for an oil change, theyll have you back on the road within 30 minutes. Finding an honest mechanic wasnt easy, but I found one in these guys. I highly recommend Mobile Mechanics

My 1997 outbacks ventilation system was not working. I could not switch from face to foot/defrost to defrost etc. It was stuck on face only. Took it to a place up in Evergreen and they quoted at least 2 hrs labor plus parts to rip out the dash and see what was going on. Took it to Buddy for a second opinion and he immediately walked out to my car and fixed the problem in 5 minutes. He took the time to show me how to fix the problem should it arise again. Then he refused payment and went back to what he was doing. Thanks Buddy for restoring my faith in humanity.

I was in a real bind this morning. My "check engine" light was flickering on, the car was idling really rough, and power was less than 50%. I found Buddys place on Google, stopped in at 8, and was on my way at 8:30. Buddy knew what it was before even hooking his computer up. It was my airflow sensor (95 Impreza, 160k). The best part of the story is that Buddy likes to install used parts. He put in a used sensor for only $100. It woulda cost me $300+ new! This guy is honest and trustworthy. What a mechanic should be. See him before the dealership.

All I can say is wow! I had some sub-standard work done on a 1999 Forester at another shop, then took it to Buddy and crew and they fixed me up right! Honest, reasonably priced and timely Subaru repair shop in Golden, CO. I would never, ever dream of taking a Subaru to anywhere else, including the dealer. Taking your Subaru to Mobile Mechanics will be the most pleasant experience you have ever had with car repair, I guarantee. Remember, Subaru only.

I only take my subaru to Buddy and I recommend any subaru owner to do the same. I have had multiple minor issues with my car that Buddy either fixed for free or informed me that I did not need to worry about, and bigger fixes are always timely, very affordable, and most importantly, properly fixed! These guys are truly subaru experts, and may be the best subaru mechanics in the US. I will always take my trusty 2001 forester to these guys. 10/10

Best mechanic Ive ever worked with. Buddy has been able to diagnose my issues on the first try, every time, and whenever its not something he does he refers me to other good businesses. More importantly, hes unfailingly honest...Ive come in to the shop with my mind set on something, and he quietly informs me that it would be unnecessary or a waste of my money. If you have a Subaru, and you arent taking it to buddys, then youre missing out.

So lucky I found this place and they had time to help me!! The guy who runs this place is smart and honest and they seem to have many longstanding customers. A homegrown local business with an outstanding reputation for good reasons!! They helped me right away when everyone else in the area was too busy and helped get me back on the road for just $50 while also detailing other issues that would need addressing soon. Amazing amazing.
