Ive had two terrible experiences here and will not return. The first involved a Ford Excursion Disiel: after paying for an oil change and new oil filter, turns out they didnt change the filter. After I figured this out (when returning for a second oil change), I asked why, and they told me because they didnt have that kind of filter. I payed for a filter that wasnt there, and nobody bothered telling me. Second involved a volvo s 80. Firstly, I called in the morning to see the wait time, I was kindly told to hold. I waited for 15 min. I hung up and redailed, the operator instantly picked up the phone. Short memory span? I was told there was an approximate wait of 30 min. I arrived and was told the wait was 40 min, which wasnt a problem so I handed them my keys. The transponder in my key snapped off and I warned them to ask me for help starting the car (its rather simple but I understand how someone wouldnt know what to do). They said ok. After an hour and a half, I asked what the hold up was, "we couldnt start your car". I know, thats why I told you to let me know when you try. Not only did they not ask for help as I warned them, they didnt even bother letting me know. Who knows how long I wouldve sat there. After the oil change, I was informed that my volvo has a special filter, so an additional $27 must be added to the price, AFTER THE FACT! The oil change itself was taking a long time, and it didnt look like anyone was doing anything under the car and the hood was closed. After I asked what was wrong, I was informed that someone dropped the transpoder from my key into the console between the front seat and couldnt get it out. I was losing patience. After waiting for some time, I went myself and offered my help. Using the screw driver they had in their hands, I unscrewed the console in 1 min and got the transponder out myself. TLDR: Charged for filter that didnt exist. Instead if 40 min waited 4 hours and could have waited more if I didnt start asking what the problem was and didnt solve it for them. The complete neglect and disregard for the customer is audacious.

Such horrible experience of my life. Horrible customer service. To top it all off, I waited there an hour and 45 minutes roaming around the store and they couldnt notify me that they couldnt do the job. Im not mad that they couldnt do the job Im aware that theyre limited in the services they provide. Im mad at the fact that I waited for almost 2 hours there when I couldve taken my car elsewhere. They found out they couldnt do the job at 12:03 and until I approached them at 1:20 they told me they couldnt do the service even though they had my contact information (my phone number). Go elsewhere. Walmart auto center sucks!

I request the following services: oil change and tire rotation and these jokers told me my 4 Runners oil plug was put in wrong and they did not want to touch my vehicle, I was very angry and wanted to get answers, I took my 4 Runner to Stevinson Toyota and the performed oil change/tire rotation and they found a nail in my tire. The real reason Walmart lube employees did not want to work on my 4runner was because they did not want to patch the tire. I dont believe this review will change Walmarts management or culture however maybe it will effect their bottom line which quickly gets the attention of upper management.

Brought in two tires I bought online to have mounted and balanced. Over the course of three hours: 1) Tried to upsell me on tires by lying and saying my car was four wheel drive. Ive owned and worked on this car for three years. There is nothing on it indicating its a 4matic. 2) Literally called me "stupid" when I showed them a VIN decoder options list showing the my car was in fact a RWD 3) Lost the center cap to my wheel which are $50 for a set After I brought in a store manager they did give me a $10 discount, and it sounded like somebody is getting fired, but Im done with Walmart tire center.

Called ahead to make sure they could do an oil change. They said sure...it would take 45 minutes. Dropped off the keys and wandered around walmart for 50 minutes...never got a page or anything and when i went to pay they told me the car was declined. They didnt have the necessary tool (an 8mm allen key) to do the job. Extremely rude and unprofessional of them to not even bother to notify me while i was waiting. Do yourself a favor and go to jiffy lube or grease monkey or ANYWHERE but walmart!!!

I think they are not so bad as some people said they were to them. Or it was only me I am not sure but I am recommending them for sure. My oil change was on time and it was a good experience. I liked Greese Monkey in downtown even faster and efficient though. But still its a 5 star rating to Walmart for maintaing all staff and facility.
