Very friendly guys. Cool little place. Good prices for their work. I dont feel like, despite all the 5 star reviews, that these guys really know what their doing. Im a do it myself kind of guy. I repair my own truck and havent had a problem yet doing so. I had a mystery of a problem. Strange squealing noises. Im not going to go into too much detail about it. Boring stuff. Suffice to say the engine squealed like a stuck pig on a start-up in the mornings. I take it to several places, not gonna mention them as Im not on a smear campaign, and then I end up at Juke. Was recommended by a friend. I take the truck in and they agree to investigate the mystery noise. They even drove me home. Very cool. I got a call about 4 hours later with them saying they found my problem and fixing it would be a nice, tidy sum. Thats a nice way of saying 250-350 bucks. I cant remember the amount exactly. I went and picked up the truck. They said the source of my noise was a bad water pump. They replaced the pump and fan. Very cool. I had planned on replacing that myself but it requires a special tool. Id never have gotten my money out of it though. I dont do friend labor. I take the truck home and it sits overnight. I start it in the morning and guess what. The noise is back. At this point Im livid. Not only did the noise not go away I feel a bit "bent over" about the situation as no one can tell me whats goin on and I just got charged about 300 bucks to fix a problem that didnt get fixed. Understand this. I had a dis-pleasurable experience not because of the service or the people. I needed a new water pump and its cool that I got one at a pretty reasonable price considering the time and tools. Its also very messy. Im not mad about the service. The staff was very cool. Im concerned about the treatment. They misdiagnosed the problem pure and simple. I paid them to find the source of my annoying noise. I did not go in because my truck was overheating or losing coolant. I essentially went in a burger place for a hamburger but came out with a salad. Satisfying yes but its not what I ordered. I see all these 5 star ratings up there and Im thinking either these are friends of the business or Im just the unlucky oddball in the group. Im not saying theyre a crooked company or anything like that. Just speaking about my experience there is all. Im wondering though. How many other vehicles are misdiagnosed? I did find the source of that noise by the way. It was a bad bearing in my alternator. I found it by accident while changing a tensioner pulley.

I really wanted to have a 5 star experience here... I really did. But it simply is not how it worked out. First off, let me say that Juke is a really nice guy. I didnt ever get the impression that he was trying to rip me off or anything like that, however... I had my car diagnosed at a different shop, and they told me that my fuel pump was out and it would cost $900. I was stunned by their price, so I called up Juke, and asked what he would do it for. He was considerably cheaper... something close to half price, I think. So I let him do the repair. The problem persisted, which was not necessarily Jukes fault, since he didnt do the diagnosis. So, I took the car back, and said that that didnt fix it, and asked if he could further diagnose what was wrong. He called me back the next day, and said the fuel rail temperature sensor was bad, and that that was the problem. So, $350 dollars later, I drive the car home, and the problem is still persisting. So I take it back, and tell him that that didnt fix it, and ask him to further diagnose. He calls me back the next day and says I need to update calibration values stored in the computer, and that that has to be done at the dealership. So, I go pay the dealership to update the calibration values... same problem. Now, Im pretty frustrated, so I go to a different mechanic, and pay him to diagnose it. He calls me back very quickly, and says the fuel pump is bad. I say that Ive had it replaced, and he says that perhaps I didnt have the whole fuel pump assembly replaced. I go back to Juke, who I feel like at this point Ive cut a LOT of slack, and tell him the diagnosis. I them pay him to install the whole fuel pump assembly - another four or five hundred dollars, and finally that fixes it. After all this, I paid around $1400. Even if I dont hold Juke responsible at all for the first fuel pump installation (which is probably fair), he still failed to correctly diagnose the problem two times after that (the other two mechanics I took it to got it correct right away). I hope this experience was a fluke, but I feel compelled to report it.

I am a HUGE fan of Juke Auto. I found them on Yelp and couldnt be happier that I decided to try them out. This is the second time they have saved me a significant amount of money and headache. The first time I went in they did an assessment on my 2008 GMC Yukon with ~90k miles and let me know that I needed $3,000+ worth of work... Clearly this was not good news. However, Juke himself recommended that I not get the work done (which means he didnt get that $3,000) but instead think about trading my car in before it started to have more issues than it was worth. Based off of his advice, I traded my car in, got a nice amount in return and picked up a 2013 VW CC for a great deal. I was very impressed by his willingness to forgo revenue in order to ensure my best interests. Then last week, I was doing some off roading in my wifes Subaru when I hit a rock that made one of the worst noises I have ever heard (my wife was not happy about this). The whole drive home it continued to make a loud squealing noise and I was sure I would be out at lest $1000 for this mistake... BUT I took the car into Juke on Monday morning at 8:30 and he had one of his guys give it a look over and give me a call. By 10 he had called me and let me know that it was just a piece of rock that had gotten lodged in the wheel area and after his guy popped it out the noise was gone. And the best part about the whole situation was that Juke DID NOT charge me at all for this service. He simply asked that I tip his mechanic who fixed the issue. Again, I was deeply impressed by his honesty and his willingness to put the customer first. These acts of good business ownership just won Juke a life long customer! I highly recommend you give Juke a shot. You wont regret it.

My first experience with Juke Auto (last year) was good, and my second experience (last month) was GREAT. I went to them last year for brake work because of the ridiculous number of glowing Yelp reviews, and I wasnt disappointed. They were fast, helpful, and gave me a great deal. So I knew I wanted to go back to them when my car got clipped by a giant truck and needed several thousand dollars worth of work. I was primarily in touch with Donnie this time around, who was incredibly patient with my endless questions and frazzled phone calls and total ignorance of how these situations work with insurance (insurance people were much less helpful). This was an incredibly stressful time - my car got hit only a few days after my debit card was compromised and my bank account wiped out, and my dog had surgery AND got sick. All at once. Then the car. It was not a good time. But not only was Donnie extremely patient and informative through the whole process, he also offered me a loaner car when he learned Id been bleeding money into a rental - AND, the best part, is that he did everything he could to save me money. And I mean A LOT of money. Like, it was ridiculous how little I paid these guys for their great work. That was pretty awesome, what with the whole rental car/bank account wiped out/vet bill nonsense that was going on. The short version is, these guys were awesome in a crappy situation and really made it manageable for me. Cannot recommend them enough!
