Roto Rooter cause extra damages to my house above the normal damages of repairing my sewage pipe.. I called several to discuss the matter. Took and sent it to them. They said they would look into it and get back with me. They never got back to me. I called several after to follow up. Agian no one ever got back to me. The damages that were done. My Laundry Pedestal looked brand new before the workers came. The next day when I got over the sticker shock for the cost of the repair, I notice a hole and crack in my Laundry Pedestal as if the Jack Hammer that they used to rip up my tile to get to the pipe hit it. Also after they were finished draining my pipe, the machine that used spilled sewage on my whit carpet. They tried cleaning that up and I tried with my home steam cleaner but the stain is still there. Since they charged me $6800 to repair my pipe, you would think the company would be responsible for any other damages they caused except for the damage of tearing up my tile. The price of $6800 is hard for me to justified since the material they used to repair my pipe would not cost them more than a $1000 and it took 3 guys 8 hours this included transport time to complete the job. I had a 10 ft sewage pipe replaced. I am wondering what cost $5800 to justified the total cost.

I must admit that I was very hesitant to call Roto-Rooter Plumbing because I thought it would be very expensive because of their reputation of very prompt service. I actually called several other services first, but all of the smaller plumbing operations were booked out through the week. Roto-Rooter actually offered to come out the same day. I went ahead and scheduled something for the following day. When the Technician arrived, he determined the issue was very minor and he had it cleared if less than five minutes. What really blew me away was he didnt charge me. What? No charge? He also gave me tips on how to properly maintain the system to avoid serious issues. Well, they have an established customer now! They will always be my first thought/call and Ill go out of my way to let all my family, friends and neighbors know what a great service provider Roto-Rooter is! Its always hard to find someone you can really trust and Im pretty certain thats what Ive done. Also, the Technician Mike was a really nice/friendly guy who was a real pleasure to meet. Hes the kind of person whose personality just kind of forces you to have a nice day!

Service personel were very nice and thorough. I called around 8am but had to wait until 2pm after being told I was next in line after 10am; inconvenient but thats the way it goes. Also, quoted 350.00 for the clean out. It took maybe 1/2 hour but paying for the end product not hourly wage. If they say they will send a camera out on another day be aware thats an additional $50.00 and when I decided I did not want the camera guy as I know the problem already, the serviceman said he had already charged my card and talked me into having the guy come out. Im not really happy about that because I know what the problem already is. I am a female and hope I wasnt quoted more because of that. Just another buyer be ware. I would use this company again but will review the charges before turning my card over to be charged..

We had an emergency with sewage backing up in our basement. We called Roto Rooter and Kyle (4598) was out that afternoon, he quickly diagnosed the issue and corrected it within an hour. As new homeowners he took the time to explain all the potential causes and warning signs to look for in the future, which we greatly appreciated! He took the time to explain what he was doing and shared a wealth of knowledge with us. There was a cleaning service that also called while Kyle was still there, and he booked a follow-up for a full inspection (camera scope) of our main sewer line, which they were out the next day. I feel confident that all aspects were covered and with 1 call we got a very thorough and complete service, I would definitely call again if we have any issues in the future.

They do not give any kind of a quote over the phone but rather when they " assess the problem". I decided to go with then because of the household name. By the time they had arrived we had been with clogged drains for most of the day and would have been unable to call someone else. Technician instantly quoted me over $350 to clean out the main line from a clean out which was located outside without even looking at the problem. It took them no more than 30 min to do the work. I later found going rate for such work is much closer to the $100 to $150 an hour rate. They then tried to sell me on Mini up sell services and products. I would suggest going with your local Rooter company. Go with someone who will give you at least an estimate what they will charge an hour.

We just bought a new home and with it has come all of the ups and downs of home ownership. Unfortunately more downs this first month then ups, but we are plugging through, haha!!! We needed a plumber and had no idea how to find a good one, that was reasonable, trustworthy and that could help us out in the evening or weekend without gouging us... a friend referred us to Roto Rooter, thank you! Called them up and they had someone out Saturday morning, clean, on time and very knowledgeable. We greatly appreciate his professionalism and efficiency, thank you Chuck. We will be using you for all of our plumbing needs and will definitely be using you in the future and will be recommending your company to all of our friends and family. Thank you again.

We used Roto-Rooter to clear some roots in our sewer line because the people buying our house asked us too. Wow! Paul was beyond amazing. Very personable and told me everything that he was doing. I asked him questions as he was working and he was very helpful. Im sure that people dont like to be bothered while they are working but he didnt mind at all. Ive never done this so I was very curious about what was going on. I also had my 8 month old boy with me and he payed attention too him which my litter on really enjoyed. You can definitely tell that Paul is a good guy all around. I will be tell my mother inlaw who is a realtor to recommend him to her clients. Thanks for your hard work!

Mike and Mark came out to install a new bathroom vanity cabinet, sink, and faucet fixtures. Like Bob and Elliott, who helped us two months ago with a leaky toilet and stopped up drain, they did a great job! It is a joy to find a company that consistently sends out skilled and friendly craftsmen! Finally, we have found plumbers we can trust to help us with our 42-year-old house. The plumbing has always been just a little bit, or more, "off" from todays specs. Mikes and Marks (and Bobs and Elliotts) workmanship and solutions are much appreciated, believe me!
