Over the years weve had issues with roots growing into our main line, but havent had reason to go for a full line replacement. When it backed up again recently, I suffered through the pain and cost of 2 less-than-reputable companies before being saved by Jim Julien of Roto-Rooter of Arvada/Commerce City, CO. The first company offered a cut rate and had open availability, which shouldve made me suspicious. Their guy came out and put all of 5 minutes into trying to clear the line before saying "oh I could damage my equipment if I try any more, youll have to pay us an extra $200 to scope the line". When I said "no way", he got belligerent and refused to leave. Then I arranged for a second company to come out, and their guy did try harder, but then announced that surely the line had collapsed and it just so happens his company does line replacements and theyll give me the special deal price of $14,000 if I signed the contract on the spot. Then I arranged for Roto-Rooter to come out. Jim clearly knew what he was doing, and within the hour he had the line cleared and draining like new. Of course every situation is different, and YMMV, but rest assured hes the only guy Ill call next time this happens.

called these guys Sunday night and they said they would be at my house by 8am Monday morning. They arrived at 1030. My main sewer line was backing up. They snaked it and found nothing, then they sent a camera down and said I need 20k in repairs to replace the whole line to my tap. I had 3 more estimates that all came in around 8.5k for the same work. Plus one company videoed the line for free and said that it was the Citys main sewer line that was backing up causing my sewer line not to drain correctly. I did call the City and they confirmed that it was the Citys sewer line. I dont know how these plumbing companies can sleep at night trying to rip people off!!! Roto-Rooter also left a big pile of raw sewage on my Driveway and refused to return to clean it up.

We came home on Labor Day to realize our sewer drain had backed up and flooded the basement. I called three plumbers before calling Roto Rooter - of which two were closed, and the other couldnt help until the following Saturday. I had no more plumber magnets on the fridge, so I googled plumbers in Arvada, CO to find Roto Rooter. So glad I did! They were out within the hour (on a holiday!) and cleared our drain, then scheduled a scope so we could figure out what was going on. Thank you so much, we will be using this company on any future plumbing service, and highly recommend.

Late in the evening we determined the basement drain was backing up anytime we ran water in the kitchen. I submitted an online service request for the next day and received a confirmation within the hour. The next morning I called dispatch to adjust the time frame without issues. So accommodating! Steve Reid came out exactly in time and fixed our drain clog. He ran water through all the connecting appliances and also cleaned the drain. My kids and dog were being unruly but he just laughed along with me while fixing our issue. I couldnt be happier!

Our kitchen drain was backed up - and in the morning when it still seemed to be clogged, we called at Roto-Rooter at 8:00 am. By 9:30 am Juan was checking it out. He was knowledgeable, professional and friendly and when it seemed to be working fine he did not pressure me into an expensive treatment. He offered suggestions on preventative care and left me his card, so if I had any other problems I could call him. A waste of my time. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I called to request service in the morning and they told me they could have someone at my house by noon. They called every 2 hours to say it was delayed and they will dispatch a plumber as soon as they finished the current work. That was the story I was told the whole day until 6:30 PM when they call to cancel. They are NOT a "local" company so dont waste your time with this company. CALL A LOCAL PLUMBER in your area

I called rotor rooter yesterday after calling three other companies, all who couldnt get here before up to two weeks away. We had drain back up and considered it an emergency . You sent sent someone out within 2 hours and it was even after 6pm. Our tech Joe Shirey #1695 was super and helped reduce the cost with a good discount which really helped. Im getting new counter tops and sink in my kitchen. When I went to turn off the water for the tear out of the sink, my hot water valve was leaking. I called Roto-Rooter and they had a tech here in an hour. They replaced both my hot and cold water line valves quickly. Now Im ready for the new sink install tomorrow! Made an appointment at 3pm for 7pm to 11pm needing a main line snake. Assured me that it could be done tonight, because I am unavailable any other time. Called me to cancel at 8pm for a little snow on the roads. Not reliable in an emergency situation or even just regular appointment. Im screwed, because I made the wrong appointment with the wrong company. False advertising!

Robert Berry came out on short notice to clear a plugged line. We ended up having to pull a toilet to get the power auger into the line as the clean out plug was seized up. He was very professional and did a great job with the work and clean up afterwards. Lesson learned: never ever flush wipes, even if they claim to be "flushable"

Waited 11 hours, almost 4 hours beyond the window they gave me. I knew the issue, wouldnt quote over phone. My fault for letting them still come out. Price quoted when they got here was 3 times the cost of the next company on my list that is coming in the morning.
