Blue Sky really follows through on their commitments to do the job properly, and in a timely manner. We had them make an an emergency call last year where coming home late in the day, we found that our heating furnace had stopped working in the mid winter during a bitter cold spell. Having called a number of local "24 hour service" companies none of whom seemed in the least interested in coming out until a couple of days later (emergency service?) with a distinct posssibilty of serious consequences of freezing pipes, no heat, etc, my call to Blue Sky was followed with a service call within 1 hour. The tech, Dave was extremely knowledgeable and competent, and his service van contained the parts to repair and have us in heat wthin an hour. A very scary and stressful experience was handled in a professional and competent manner and without the usual fuss, drama or exorbitant "service call". So when a year later we received a note in the mail to schedule a routine maintenace service on the heating system we did not hesitate to call. The schedule was made to our convenience and Dave came early, did a great job, explained his work, checks, and minor tune up that was required. Again Blue Sky sent a caring, professional who took the time to do the work, ensured that we were apprised of what was done and addressed questions that arose. I cant emphasisse enough the professionalism and due care to attention, timeliness and fair pricing that this company attaches to its work. We strongly recommend this company and its representatives who from setting appointments to undertaking the actual work do so in a way that one hopes will be done but rarely is the case. In this case Blue Sky exemplifies what a good business is and strives to be.

This company will bait-and-switch you! I called and made it clear I wanted a furnace cleaning, The lady upsold me on the phone so my evap coil could be included in the service. For $168.00 nothing was done except a visual inspection. The recommendations were $1,244.00!!! (see attached invoice) They say they have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee. Not true! I called to complain about service and received no call back. My card wasn’t charged for service so I assumed they stood by their Guarantee. 1 months later I get a call about payment from Jamie Schenck (Customer Service) I explained to him what happened but I was at fault and they said, I needed to pay the $168.00, because their Technician was at my house for 3 hours. So I gave them permission to charge it to the card they had on file. Payment was received and Blue Sky Plumbing & Heating INC. is happy but I the customer am cheated with 0% Satisfaction. I did call out a differ company to do the furnace cleaning. They did the service right, cleaned blower squirrel cage and blower compartment, Evap coil cleaned and the following issues fixed. Found a cracked square to round chimney unit that needed replacement under $30.00, Melted wire going to the Inducer Blower had to be resliced, Goodman limit switch under $15.00. Total for all services $210.00 and only took the guy 75 minutes to complete.

We recently discovered a water drain leak below our concrete floor in the basement. Being close to home I talked to Millwood Plumbing but they appeared totally disinterested in helping. I immediately called Blue Sky and Troy was out within a day to scope and locate the under-concrete drain. Before he left, he called Brian C. and not wanting me to miss more time from work, Brian was on site within 1/2 hour to provide me with what he felt the problem was, what it would take to fix it and the cost. He was spot on with everything he stated. Brian, Armando and Roberto was on site the next morning, right on time and commenced repairing the problem. Needless to say, with the jackhammering and digging out of old soil, it was chaos in the basement. They completed the repair, replaced the concrete and totally cleaned up the area. John came the next morning to reset the hot water heater that had to be moved, replaced a leaky valve and gaskets in the unions. All were very polite, worked extremely hard and were utmost professionals and in my opinion are a true asset to the Blue Sky Team. My sincere thanks to each of them resolving our recent plumbing problem. I will recommend Blue Sky to all of my friends and acquaintances.

It started with the shower filling w/water while showering. Then running sink backed up shower. Then toilet overflowed. All in the same little bathroom. a Handyman (who had recently installed an "O-Ring" in same toilet) came out & tried to go fishing - which seemed to mean using the long snake thing to unclog shower, then toilet. He could only fish about 8 ft down and suggested wed better call a plumber. I noticed a BLUE SKY truck has been parked in our neighborhood so I thought Id give them a try. They asked detailed questions about the problems wed been experiencing so to make sure they would send the most experienced tech available. Our appointment was scheduled for the very next day Sandi (4-star customer service!) from Blue Sky called to let me know that the technician, Trent, was on his way to our house.. He was polite, knowledgeable, respectful, and best of all, FIXED the problem in less than an hour. This is the service we will use from now on for all our plumbing (etc.) needs! Thanks so much Blue Sky! Give them a try; you wont be sorry! 9/13/14 - had to have them come back. Shower flooded. No charge. (Supposed to be) Fixed again. Well see how the next shower goes.Ill still call on them again.

My landlord called Blue Sky to fix the tub drain trim which had rusted off. This is a $20 part at Home Depot and their technician quoted $900, which included $600 in parts. This guy wanted to replace all the drain pipes in the tub! My landlord asked if he tried to unscrew the old one, his response was "I guess I could try that". WHAT? Isnt that the first thing you should try with a part that screws in. Plumber: "It just keeps spinning" Me: "Couldnt he just use two pipe pliers to hold one pipe and rotate the other" My landlord paid their ridiculously high fee for doing nothing and fixed it himself doing as I suggested. We dont feel that the technician do any work trying to figure out what the actual issue was and just wanted to get the project over with no matter now much it cost us, the customer. I cannot remember the techs name, could have been Dan, but he was a shortish older man. Please make sure that your technicians diagnose a problem correctly before offering a solution. Just because someone calls a professional out to fix something doesnt always mean they cannot fix it themselves and will call you out for being lazy.

Well, we thought with all these great reviews that we couldnt go wrong. But, I would definitely try a different Plumber/HVAC group. We were told the repair guy would also clean the unit - I called to ask this specifically. The repair guy said no and acted put off - we had to purchase that part of the service plan. He was very stiff and unfriendly and after making it clear he would only take 15 minutes to diagnose the problem with our air conditioner - if he couldnt do it in that time we would be charged accordingly for any extra time to diagnosis. From there he told us we needed a new fan motor and proceed to charge us an astronomical amount! Im pretty sure I was taken advantage of. Because what choice do you have? Call someone else and get another service fee? The air conditioner is now quite noisy - when we ran it last year it was much more quite. When he left - all the lights were left on in the basement, trash left by the unit, a big part sticker left stuck to our house and the fence gate was left open. We will certainly not be using Blue Sky again nor will we refer them.
