I dont know what has happened with this post office. I have called the post office complaint line 3 times now. My post man hasnt done his job at all. I would like to see him fired. The post office also always has a busy signal when I call, so I have to call the national complaint line. My post man has done the following: 1)Said a package was unable to be delivered because no one was home. He says this on days when he has handed the mail directly to me. 2)Bills have not been delivered which made our household have late payment fees added on to the bills in question (utilities do not allow for electronic statements). 3)Not taking the mail from the house that was place in the box to be delivered for over a week. 4)Delivering our neighbors mail to our door en mass. 5)Has said that our packages need to be signed for when in fact they didnt. 6)Notifies the sender that a package was unable to be delivered and does not leave a slip for us to pick it up. 7)No attempt at redelivery of packages is ever made even when requested.

I had the worse experience with this location. I had changed my address on their website and pay the fee, and they "delivered" my mail to my old address. It was my green card. They lost my green card! they said to have delivered to my previous address even though I had received conformation of my mail forwarding starting days weeks before they delivered my mail. They simply lost it! and the worse part is that after making a few trips there and talking to several employees, including post master Ricky, they said they were not responsible for the loss of my package. I should mention that I rushed to my old apt to see if it had in effect been delivered there and it wasnt. I spoke with my old landlord and nothing was delivered to my old apt. This location is ridiculous. Someone should be accountable for their incompetence! No wonder they are loosing business! For now on, I will make sure not to send packages through USPS!

Awful, careless and lazy! Was away for a few days and received a scribbled note in my mailbox stating that I had to pick up my mail from the post office due to the mail not fitting in the mailbox. I went to the post office expecting a pile of mail and two packages that were tracked and shipped while I was away. All I had was about 6 letters. Now why would 6 letters not fit and they claim they do not have any packages. This is not the first incident with this post office, more like the third. First one was that the postman was too lazy to pick up a package that was left for pickup and second was received a very large package that was delivered to the other side of the building, I did receive another scribbled note to go get my package at the other side of the building. Mind you the package was bigger than me. This place should be shut down!

Sharon just asks for your number saying shell get back two you. Ive called twice yesterday and havent gotten a call back. Then she tells me the carrier delivered t but thats not a logical answer because it wasnt in my mailbox. Then I called again but this time she says she needs to talk to the carrier. According to the last statment she made SHE ALREADY DID THAT. I dont know why I even try really, what can you expect from someone who refuses to help basically

USPS left a package at my house yesterday, when I got home there was a hole in the side of my house from someone hitting it. They were the only people there are there is a policy that they arent allowed to back down the driveway. Went to report it this morning and they didnt open the window until 9:30am, then the supervisor said that I was lying and crazy and that their driver couldnt have possibly hit my house. Now I need to go file a police report...

Judy, apparently the manager at this location, is the rudest, most unprofessional excuse for a human being Ive ever dealt with. She answered the phone yelling at from the start Then didnt even try to help solve my problem, she just kept telling me that I was wrong. Then the b**** hung up on me. Dont really know why I would expect any better from a government worker.

We used to think it was bad when the postal carrier cut through the neighbors yard and trampled our new lawn and flowers. Now, wed just be grateful if they delivered our mail to us, ideally in a timely fashion. The service in the last week has been horifiic to non-existant, and they returned a properly addressed, first class package to sender as "Unknown".

One of the worst post offices I have ever seen or heard of. I seldom get my packages they say that no one was at the facility and they do not leave package slips. I have to drive all the way to the post office and nag them to pick up my packages. There is got to be someone we all can complain to to get this place shut down or cleaned up!!!!!

Mailman are lazy. Was home all day Friday and was expecting a package that needed a signature. I went to check the mail and saw a slip saying he attempted to get the sig but no one was home so I have to do redeliverly. Not once did he attempt to ring my doorbell to get said signature. How hard is it to do your job?

absoluely horrible service. the women behind the desk not once but TWICE put the wrong zipcode in the computer on my package causing it to go and get lost somehwere completely random. go to the one on belden avenue in norwalk, the people in this one are crackheads who dont know how to use their computers

I needed to find out if this p.o. still had a supply of Paul Newman stamps. "Chuck" answered the phone, checked that they had at least 200, and said to go to front window when I came. Lovely woman (name beginning with F? I forget) knew exactly what I was there. Great service!

Simply awful! Dark, slow, unfriendly. Packages frequently lost, so I must go there and beg the staff to look harder to find them. Poorly managed facility, which has to be rebuilt and restaffed completely! Great depression era style service.

Terrible. Completely disorganized. No communication. They take your number down and then dont get back to you. The only way they do take responsibility is when you ask them for their first name. Finally thatll get them to do their job.

they constantly lose our mail and we constantly get other people mail. sometimes people who dont even live in this building or even on this street. almost every day I have someone elses mail how is this poasible.

Completely agree with user Kkc. There is always a long line, and it never moves quickly. This post office is run in an incredibly inefficient way, and the workers never seem to be concerned with it.

Talked to the supervisor at South Norwalk Post office, his name is Lou and he was very nice and helpful and he resolved my problem so there is no issue

They say they leave notices but never do then they dont delivery the package. And you cant pick it up without the notice so they just screw you over.
