This was the absolute worst experience of my life. I brought my Iphone for repair on Monday (8/22).Gimmy said it would be ready no later than Thursday. Gimmy said he would call me in an hour or two to tell me the staus of my phone. He never did. Finally I called Wed.(8/24) they said they were waiting for part to arrive in mail and then they would fix it immediately. Thursday (8/25) at 5 after not hearing from them again my husband called they said they had recieved part and they were really busy but it should be ready on Friday (8/26). I called all day Friday and no one answered. (This was also two days before Hurricane Irene was scheduled to land on CT so I actually would have preferred to have my phone with me whether or not they fixed it) Gimmy told my husband they they were also open on Sat(8/27). Sat, we headed up there, when we arrived store was closed. No call, no message, no email, nothing! Now my Iphone was stranded in a hurricane in an area that was calling for flood damage. Monday (8/29) called Gimmy at 10 oclock he told me that the "guy" who was going to fix it was coming in at 3:30 and the Iphone should be ready at 4:30 but he would call me and let me know. At 5 Oclock we were driving up to Shelton AGAIN and called some other guy told me that Gimmy was the one handling my case and that he left at 3:30. At which point we picked up my Iphone drove 20 minutes to the Milford Mall and had it fixed there. In a half hour my screen was repaired and I was on my way home. I would never recommend this place or suggest anyone go there. Learn from my mistakes, dont give Gimmy your time and energy.

Terrible experience, walk into the place and its some guys messy basement. Gave it the benefit of the doubt because I needed my computer fixed and had some decent reviews. The "owner" told me that it would take an hour to diagnose my computer and they advertise a free diagnostic. I dropped it off before noon and didnt recieve a call for the next 9 hours. I called back to find out he hadnt even looked at it yet. He said he would first thing the next morning. I called at around two and he had just begun looking at it. I picked it up around an hour and a half later. He claimed to have fixed the problem and charged me sixty five dollars. I never authorized him to fix it, and paid because hey if they problem is fixed then he deserved the money. I never got any updates throughout the process unless I called for one, and an hour diagnostic turned into him having my computer for two days. I will never go here again. As soon as I got home the problem had not been fixed and occured more often. I took the computer elsewhere and the problem was fixed within hours. The technician told me that I was scammed. I called for a refund and to dispute the charge but he refused to give me my money back. NOBODY should be paid for a service that is not provided or authorized for that matter! Do not go here, I beg you.

I needed an IPod 4 touch screen and charging port repaired. I was told over the phone for both $100 that it was "easy"; had my daughter drop off at their shop, she was told it would be ready that next Monday. I had her call Monday was not complete. I had her call Tuesday she was told that he didnt know how to change the charging port and that he was looking for someone else to do the work for him to call back in an hr. She called and was told now that he could not find anyone, that he would attempt to do it but that he might mess up and at that point she was told that "you might as well throw away". I Immediately got in my car and drove down to the shop. Well nedless to say we are out of an ipod as it was given back to us in peices he wanted to now charge me $190. If you want someone compemtent to fix your electronics DO NOT go HERE!!!!!! I was quoted by someone else fr $130 I should of just mailed it away instead of trying to do the right thing and keep my business local. We are out of an IPod we will see them in small claims court and I will be reporting to BBB. People like this should not be in business!!!

I brought my laptop in to Techline to have the fan replaced, and it was done quickly and correctly. This was my second time bringing my laptop to Techline for repairs; the first time was due to a virus that required a full wipe of my hard drive. Both experiences went smoothly and I was more than satisfied with the service each time. Everyone who works there is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and they are easily accessible via phone or email. Best of all, they are flexible on pricing and charge extremely fair rates. Do not let the shop appearance fool you- these guys know their stuff and work hard to ensure quality and timely service. I contacted Techline after the hard drive on my wifes PC crashed. Situation was extremely urgent as she has her own business and used this PC for work and had orders to fill. Guys at Techline were extremely responsive and had a new hard drive installed and the computer up and running in 48-hours. They even reinstalled all the necessary programs for her so that she could start working immediately. They even helped me replace the screen on my sons Ipod touch. Their pricing is very fair, the quality of the work was excellent, and the level of service was even better! Please support this great local business!

A great local business with excellent service! They recently fixed my laptop when I turned it on and had only a black screen. They then scanned my desktop for viruses remotely so I didnt have to unplug everything and bring it down. The other day I realized my desktop wasnt seeing devices plugged into the USP ports (iPhone, iPad, video cam, etc). I called them yesterday and they fixed it remotely the same day. Guy did an awesome job with retrieving back-up files that I thought I had lost. They finished it in a day and for a good price. I can definitely see myself going there again if I have any computer troubles. I would recommend Techlines services to anyone having any issues with laptops, cellphones etc.

I Got a Virus And I was referded to techline by a friend of mine im very happy with the service fast go it back in 2days relaible and very reasonable prices and now the whole family goes there for PS3 repair Laptop ... bottom line is i recomend them to Everyone
