Praise for Farha Raoof and Westy Self Storage - My wife and I continue to be impressed with Westy and its staff, in particular, with Farha Raoof. She is always professional and last week after Hurricane Irene, Farha showed us how she went above and beyond her day-to-day duties. Farha called us to alert us that she noticed a stationary, clear puddle which appeared to be coming from our Unit. We feared the Hurricane may have caused a roof leak, so we went to Westy as soon as we could that day. Upon arrival, Farha escorted us to our Unit where we discovered that the puddle was in fact, a bag of winter rock salt which seemed to be melting. (Who knew rock salt melts!?) Without any prompting by us, Farha helped us clean the puddle with paper towels and then throw out the rock salt. Farha not only was alert in seeing the puddle but she did everything possible to make our experience as painless as possible. We thank Westy for hiring and training such wonderful people and thank Farha so much for being a wonderful person! Eric, Stamford

We had a WONDERFUL experience with Liz, Lindi, Shawn and John at Westy-Wilton! We underestimated the quantity of items we were planning to store in the POD for our move to NC, so we contacted Liz Romeo who was VERY helpful (and understanding), and we quickly secured a storage unit at Westy-Wilton. The facility was easy to get to, navigate within and the A/C in the middle of summer was a much appreciated and comfortable benefit. The carts used to transport our items from the convenient loading area all worked incredibly well. When we returned to remove our items, without being asked John told us that we should use the loading dock, which made it much easier to load the truck we were using to transport the rest of our items. In general, the facility was great, the staff was friendly and helpful and the experience was terrific.

I recently had to make a move from my Norwalk, CT residence to the Westy Self Storage center in Wilton, CT. It was not a move I was looking forward to make. However, from the start, Mr. Dorian Melkonian handled all the details for me in a thoroughly professional, kind, courteous and humane way that made the move much better than I thought. He is a terrific person and adds great value to Westy and is deserving of promotion. Ms. Farha Roof, too, was excellent behind the desk when I arrived at the Westy center and made all the arrangements a smooth and professional transaction. Could not have had a better experience -- arrived the night of the blizzard on october 29th.... at 10mins before closing time -- with my movers FULL truck behind me. It had taken 4 hours to get the 15 miles to Westys. Preston was literally closing up shop, but was unflappable - showed me rooms and waited TWO HOURS while the truck was unloaded and a BLIZZARD wailed outside. I cant thank him enough. He truly represents Westys commitment to the customer. I was really taken aback by his thoughfulness, patience, and good humor. Most people would have said "sorry, were closing!" -- but Preston really came through.

I have used Westy Storage in Wilton and Norwalk for several years now and they are FANTASTIC. The facilities are clean, and well organized. Their truck is easy to drive and makes moving a snap. As for the staff, they are remarkable! Farha Raoof is simply the best representative a company could ask for -- professional, friendly, thoughtful, smart, simply the best. All of the staff at Westy are terrific and we feel like were visiting family when we "visit" our stuff in storage there. I simply could not give them a higher recommendation!

I had a great experience at Westys, Melanie Pagano (Wilton location) and Dale (Stamford location) were so helpful! Melanie went out of her way to help me when I was really in a bind and needing a storage unit ASAP! She directed me to Dale at the Stamford location who was very helpful and got me set up with a unit. They really made everything so easy in a time of stressful panic. I will definitely be recommending Westys to everyone I know!

Ive used Westy Storage in Wilton for three years now, and Ive gone through three changes of staff. Its been smooth sailing all along, and all the staff have been great, but this team is surely the best. Nikki, Dorian, and Joe are the most kind, helpful, and competent Westy staff so far. I feel more than comfortable trusting my belongings to them--even more comfortable than having them in my own home! Great job West Wilton!

I had the best experience with Westy in Danbury CT. Farha Raoff was the person who helped coordinate the storage unit, day of move, truck, etc. The storage units themselves are immaculate and clean. We never had to worry about our items in storage. The customer service was far beyond our expectations. We would always recommend Westy because of our great experience and especially due to the help of Farha Raoff.

Westys has been amazing. When we moved out of the area for eight years, we trusted Westys to take care of our belongings. Communicating with them, even from overseas, was always easy. Their staff is extremely courteous and thoughtful and went out of their way to help us. Their units and the entire facility are clean and extremely well-maintained. Highly recommend. The staff is very attentive and makes it easy to determine exactly what size unit you need. They were helpful with the moving in and moving out process. Moving can be an incredibly stressful experience, but with Westy storage helping you out its a lot less so!
