I went in to the Sunrise Hwy, West Babylon, NY location for something as simple as a single cardboard box. I needed just one shipping carton. I was greeted by a smiling Juliette & Gina. I explained that all I needed was a cardboard box and expected to be instructed to select what I wanted from the large selection of boxes on display. Instead Juliette came out from behind the counter with a tape measure so she could help me choose exactly what size carton would fit my needs. I explained that I needed to ship a small LCD TV across the country and needed a specific size and strength box to prevent shipping damage. I was surprised by the attention I was given by Juliette for just the purchase of just one box. She explained the quality construction and thickness of the box would provide suitable protection for my TV during shipping. She also offered me other shipping and packing material to insure a safe arrival of my item. I would highly recommend this location for your shipping, moving or storage needs. It is a bright, well lit and secure location. Be assured that Juliette and Gina will spend the time it takes, to guaranty you will get exactly what you need. I would highly recommend this facility... I went with my mother on 9/3/14 to the West Babylon Public Storage location to see the unit we reserved the day before online. Reserving online saved us almost $50, compared the in-store price, which was great. The salesperson who helped us in-store, named Juliette, was very nice and informative. She gave a very detailed explanation of the services provided there and our receipt. We set up a simple automatic payment plan which was very quick and easy. The only negative thing was that where our storage unit was located, on the 3rd floor of the building, is without air conditioning, so it was much hotter in there than it was outside. My mom was feeling faint, and Juliette offered her her own drink, which she didnt have to do and was a pleasant change from the usual apathetic store clerk. She also assured us that the air conditioning would be fixed promptly as an order for service had already been placed and she expected it to be as early as Friday, 9/5/14. All around it was a very good and easy experience, and I would recommend this storage facility to anyone who needs a storage unit quickly and easily. Thanks for reading.

A Baloo Is a Bear

Ive been really happy with my experience at Public Storage. The facilities are clean and safe with large elevators to provide easy access to your indoor unit. (I have a second floor unit being used temporarily while moving from Deer Park to West Islip) The staff was extremely helpful in setting me up (specifically, my father and I both dealt with Juliette who was EXTREMELY helpful and just plain nice to deal with) - Juliette was also was a great help when I drove all the way to the facility and realized I didn;t have the security code to open the gate - after verifying my identity, I was given my code and didnt have to waste time driving back home. The rates are reasonable - They have 3 cart/dollies for you to use when moving in and out (sometimes people are selfish, using 2 or all 3 of them - maybe another cart or two could be left around for situations like this but thats my only small complaint)

How do I feel? I wasnt sure what to expect at this Public Storage, since I have used others in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised by the "host" who contacted me when I reserved my unit on line and then greeted me with such pleasantness when I arrived there. I say host because Juliette acted like a wonderful host. She made me feel at home and was very thorough about showing me around and explaining the rules and regulations. I was happy to see how clean and secure this Public Storage in West Babylon, NY is. They have all the supplies that one would need to make an easy move. It was easy taking my items from my vehicle to my unit by the use of carts. I would recommend them to all my friends in need of storage away from home. Thank You, C. Salvatore

I recently visited Public Storage in order to store a few items short term. I was met with a pleasant greeting by store manager, Juliette, who listened attentively and recommended the perfect solution for my flexible situation. I was directed to an apt unit which not only met my current necessities, but also allows me to grow, if the need arises. Juliette made my short stay there very relaxed and she exuded an abundance of professionalism which is the forerunner of this type of industry where interacting with the public is absolutely necessary. Her personality is engaging and I would implore anyone seeking a nice, clean, and affordable location to store their items, to check out this location in West Babylon and meet Juliette.

After using this location several years ago and not having the greatest experience with staff , I was hesitant about using this location again, but the convenience of it being so close to where we live my Dad and I decided to give it another shot. Well did we make the right decision!! We were immediately greeted by Tara who was helping another customer with their rental. Tara was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, honest and truly seemed to care about her customers. Tara made an emotional & difficult decision to put my families belongings into storage go smoothly and hassle free. My Dad and I decided to use Public Storage because of Tara, she took her time helping us and went above and beyond Thank you Tara!!!

My name is Anne-Lise Bedka and I just wanted to tell you what a wonderful experience working with Juliette has been. As a recently divorced woman I really didnt have a clue how putting all my Posessions in a storage facility worked.She took me through the entire process with ease.everything from packing supplies, to move in procedure, even helping me to change my banking information on my computer. That in itself was a huge help as my computer skills are a bit lacking. She walked me through every step with a wonderful attitude and a big smile. The facility is very clean. However, when I first rented the unit, I found a price on the internet for $112 per month. It was an affordable price for my budget and the previous storage facility I was at was raising their rate from $104 to $130, so I needed to change to Public Storage. 6 months later, though, Public Storage raised my rate $112 to $123. I am very disappointed with them. I guess the internet deal was just a gimmick to get people into their facility. I still may try to find another place that will keep their rate the same for a least 1 or 2 years as opposed to changing it in 6 months, but I have been too busy this past year to even look and move my items again.

I am very satisfied by the customer service I had just received from Angie. She took her lunch early so she would be in the office for me to pay this month and next months rent. She also told me that I can pay at any public storage location. Because yesterday I came by and she was on lunch and I called to tell her I was coming the same time today and she made sure she was here for me. She is very friendly sufficient and very very kind. Angie also told me other methods of payment that I did not know abouy as well. Went over different sizes with meand should me a lot. I would recommend this location and tell them to look for Angie. She made my day.
