I take these reviews seriously so Ill give it to you in parts: On the initial phone call to the National Sales person in Arizona the help and service I received was fantastic. We had a truck of stuff arrive two days early and needed a place on a Sunday. The woman I spoke with found me several places, suggested move-in specials and made it simple. Follow-up: I received a phone cal from the local manager almost immediately to make sure everything was OK and to see when we would be there. Check-in process: The woman at Public Storage, Andrea, was very nice and professional explaining everything, being ready for us, prepared everything quickly. Plus she was just very nice in dealing with the public. Facility: The place is very well kept. Here are the only issues I had: 1. I think the cost is high compared to other places and even other Public Storage places in different locations. I do get that I have the option to not go there and they are almost at capacity so I must be the only one thinking this way. They do NOT offer a move in special at this facility because they have full capacity...good for them. 2. I did go with them because they were open on Sunday and could get me in on Sunday and I was desperate. 3. I dont like that we had to take insurance and it was never mentioned to me on the phone. 4. The unit is fine but its not well-lit 5. They said there was hand carts to help move in but didnt know where they were, or they were being used by others. I looked through several other buildings and never found one so we had to carry everything ourselves back to our unit. Bring your own hand truck! Worth mentioning: 1. I asked if after a month if I wanted to move our stuff to another Public Storage unit that was out of the way but less expensive and offered a move-in special rate would I have to pay the set-up administrative fee of $22 again and they said I would. I dont think thats fair. 2. the other place has a First month for $1 move in special and they wouldnt let us use that if we just moved our stuff ... wed have to keep it out for a week. I dont think that is fair either. Theres my review...with some whining mixed in. Hope that helps.

I really did like these people, but our storage was somehow broken into, and expensive things were stolen from us. A couple months before this happened, we were in the office when what we think was a manager, talking to a customer, and she was very upset, and saying things were stolen from her storage, and he kept telling her there was no way anything could have been stolen from her storage. He asked her if anyone else had her keys, if she ever lost her keys, etc. I was weary then, but really didnt think much of it. Then in March of this year, our things went missing to. A manager didnt even bother to talk to us.They told us to make a police report, and they checked our storage unit, but found no signs of a break in. We even asked them if anybody could have been making extra keys, which was not something they wanted to hear. They gave us the insurance companys number, and were told to call them. We took the rest of our things, and moved out. When we contacted the insurance company they turned us down without investigating anything, because the lock didnt look broken into. I even sent them information about the conversation we heard in the office, and that our unit was hard to close, and the main handle was broken, but they never contacted us back. Sedgwick insurance just did absolutely nothing! We paid for 4,000 in insurance coverage for over a year, and we lost our things with no compensation when they went missing from our storage! Who would make a police report unless their things were really taken! I felt we were treated badly by public storage, because nobody in charge, a manager, or anybody else ever bothered to call and talk to us. They were great until our things went missing, and then we were just ignored by them. For all these reasons, I cant recommend keeping your things here.

This was my first time using a storage facility because I was always hesitant to leave any of my possessions under the watchful eye of someone else. But, I must say, this experience has been great from day one. The young woman who helped me, Frances, was fantastic. She put my fears at ease right away. She was open, honest, and quick about answering all of my questions directly. My initial plan was for 6 mos., which turned into almost 10 mos., primarily because I became so comfortable with the way everything was handled. I was not in a rush to bring this back. One example I can share is something as simple as the light bulb in my bin was out. I kept forgetting to let Frances know. She was remind me but I would say "next time." However, my niece also uses this location and one day when she was there Frances installed my light. I didnt know until I arrived several weeks later only to be told, "it was already taken care of Mrs. Ruffin." I recommend this location to everyone! Thanks again Public Storage and a special thank you to Frances!!!

I came into this location on Saturday to purchase a few boxes. Stephanie went over the available specials with me. She then went over everything i would need for my move and gave me awesome packing ideas that i was not even thinking about! By the time i left the store, i had purchased 30 boxes and other packing supplies. Stephanie really went above and beyond with her customer service. She knew all the products she was selling me and knew what she was talking about , she answered so many of my questions. She was very dedicated in making me feel so much more comfortable and at ease with my stressful move. Stephanie was very helpful and polite. I will be sure to mention this location to friends and family!! Thank you Stephanie for all of your amazing help and making my move so much easier!! You were awesome!!

This is my third time using this location. I return and shall return, because of the service, Team and location/accessibility. The location Manager, Frances is very friendly, accommodating and she is just downright awesome. Renting my Unit this time around, she was training 2 new Team Members and they were excellent as well, and being under the tutelage of Frances, they are sure to be awesome as well. Frances, Amber and Takayla were very friendly and they showed me around to the Units I was considering in a very timely manner, especially since my nerves were rattled and frazzled during this move. They provided a welcomed stress relief in making my rental of this Unit a very fun and easy experience. KUDOS to FRANCES and her Team Amber and Takayla. GREAT JOB (As Always!)

I was very disappointed in the “customer service” or lack there of. I chose this storage company & location due to the excellent reviews. After going in person to rent a storage unit, I was not pleased at all. I was treated poorly by Frances, she rushed through everything, & when I asked her certain questions she was very snappy & not helpful. Frances acted as if she was in a rush & I was inconveniencing her. I was also charged an amount that was ridiculous & when I asked if any deals were going on Frances responded: “if we had any deals, dont you think I would have told you”. I walked out of her office feeling extremely disrespected. I would never recommend this location or her service to anyone.
