Purchased my civic a few months ago then three days later the car starts to leak. I looked up a place that has good reviews and General auto repair had great reviews. Everyone there was friendly and my car was serviced within two days for the leak. I drive the car home the next day I find the car is still leaking in my drive way (this time The leak was less than the previous time). I called the shop they told me to bring it in and they will spot the leak easily since they placed some dye to see where its coming from. My car stayed at the shop almost for a week. When I picked up the car I paid again and drove it home. The next day I notice the car is still leaking and now it its smoking from the tail pie and near the exhaust manifold. I called that Friday and the owner was out of town. I called Monday a gentleman apologized and said the owner is still out of town and he took my number down and said the owner would call me back (Never happened). I ended up paying over $500 and still have an oil leak. I cant say they are the reason the car is smoking but I can say the oil leak is not fixed. I would not take my car back here. Now I have to find a new car.

Let me just say this, finding a good honest mechanic is probably one of the most valuable things to have in life. Rich and the boys at general auto are exactly that. They do fantastic work with the most reasonable honest cost. I live over 35 miles away from the shop and wouldnt think twice driving there to have work done to my car. Do yourself a favor and dont waist any time taking your car anywhere else. I dont ever write reveiws but I just had to this time! THANKS TO THE GUYS AT GENERAL AUTO REPAIR

Good Find!! I relied on Google ratings and was not let down. I was having a car checked out before buying it and took it to General Auto. The both the owner and general manager went over the car thoroughly and charged a very fair rate. Ill use these guys from now on - a reliable auto mechanic is hard to find.

Very professional and prices are always reasonable. From my first visit, I could tell that they would not be trying to take advantage of me and it shows that they invest in their loyal customers, I take both of my cars to get repairs and oil changes for three years. I have never had one complaint.

Had to replace a radiator, thermostat, and two CV joints. They finished everything the day I brought the car in. Not the cheapest price, but not the highest either. Service was excellent. Will use then again.
