I was camping at Wekiva Springs State Park last week with 3 grandchildren. 3500 Dodge started having electrical problems. A friend is a Dodge service rep in Ft. Myers, she said go to Dodge. Called Dodge, they wouldnt even be able to look at it for 3 days. We had to add a day, was afraid to try driving 200 miles home. Ranger at the park suggested Russell, called and they said bring it in. Arrived at 11am, they immediately started work on it, found 2 problems immediately but still needed to run more diagnostics. They encouraged me to accept a ride back to the park, they had already offered once. They dropped me off, called back 30 min later, all done and picked me back up. Ready to go at 2PM. $200, what service, all the time friendly, kept me informed, concerned about my grandkids. I do have one complaint, why arent they 200 miles closer, unfortunately cant take my car that far for service. This is truly a family run business, I think out of 6 people I dealt with all but one were family members. Thanks again for taking care of a stranded grandmother. Would give 10 stars if I could! I have been taking my vehicles to Russell Automotive For over 20 years. Their staff is courteous, friendly & professional. I always receive outstanding service & my options are always explained to me clearly. They advise me on necessary, optional & preventative maintenance without ever being pushy. I always receive a follow up telephone call after having my vehicles serviced to insure that everything is going well. My most recent visit was today, November 15, 2011. They quickly diagnosed a problem that I had been noticing but had failed to mention when I dropped my truck off for routine maintenance. Upon giving my authorization to proceed, the repair was completed promptly & properly. I also chose to delay a particular maintenance item temporarily. They opened a service ticket on the item in question & arranged to contact me on an agreed upon date to schedule the work. Russell Automotive is reliable, honest & ethical, and reasonably priced - everything I look for in an automotive repair business. I highly recommend them. DKW

Brought in my wife car because this supposed place was recommended by a friend. The owner Russell was told that the car had overheating, radiator dirty and related hoses etc. and would like it all fixed and give me the total when is done. I paid $1200 for all the repairs to less than 3 days later have overheating, no antifreeze coolant water etc. problem again which did not make any sense since I paid for these sort of related problems. His response was, well; we did not replace all the hoses and we did not fix all related overheating problems when that was what I said and paid for in the first place; what an idiot right lol like Im some dumb grandpa he can rip off. Well, I told him go F*** yourself and took my car and I will never go here again and I would recommend you do not either. Sad thing of it all was that when he was confront it with the facts, he simply got all macho and said whatever take the car instead of admitting to his dumb ass attitude and put a smile on his face but, no well here we are!

I take my vehicle to a family owned automotive garage in Wisconsin. When I had problems with my truck my sister said take it to Russell Automotive. Superior service at reasonable price. Thanks to the owners and employees for being an honest, helpful business.

my brother took his truck there and they messed it up and cant/wont fix it and charged him $500 and he had to tow it out of there wow !!! they charge $100 an hour to mess up your car.he going to the better business bureau and file a complaint

Seriously. Its 2016. CASH ONLY...they tell you AFTER CAR IS REPAIRED? Are you kidding me. 0 stars not available I guess. Maybe a little honestly up front would be a lesson they could learn.

Great service overall. Had a problem with my Acadias engine that the dealer and other mechanics could not resolve. Russell got it all sorted out.
