To whom this may concern: My Husband and I have taken our Nissan Altima to the Sears Auto Center on numerous occasions and have been pleased with the service for the most part. On a few occasions we walked in for a simple oil change on a Saturday afternoon and have been turned away due to the usual heavy load on Saturdays. On Saturday, November 19th at 2:18 pm my Husband dropped off our Nissan Altima for an oil change. The gentleman (#738351 as noted on our invoice) that check the car in quoted him a 3-hour wait but said it could be “sooner than that”. My Husband mentioned to #738351 that he was attending a Orlando Magic game that evening and wanted to be sure the car would be completed in the time that was verbally quoted. He also mentioned to #738351 that we would be traveling to Miami the following day to embark on a cruise. My Husband ok’d the service and proceeded to head to Altamonte Mall as he waited for the service to be completed. My Husband returned to the Auto Center about 5:30 pm and was told the car was not finished and there were still 2 cars ahead of him. My Husband called me at 5:44 pm and told me the same info. I asked why he was still there and he stated the guy was checking to see “what he can do”. My Husband did not get out of there until 7:08 pm (invoice printed at 7:12 pm). When my Husband received the final invoice he noticed the time promise was 7:00 pm. My Husband would have never left the car there had he initially seen this time especially since he was attending an Orlando Magic game that began at 7:00 pm. He left the car there based on the verbal conversation he had with #738351. Needless to say my Husband never made it to the game that night and (2) extra hours were wasted waiting on a simple oil change. A (5) hour oil change is absolutely absurd!!! I don’t know if #738351 had some sort of quota to meet but if he couldn’t promise the car back to us within the (3) hours he quoted then he shouldn’t have mentioned that in the first place. He should’ve turned us away as they have done so in the past! My Husband is a very patient person and gives people many chances but I think continuing to have our car serviced at Sears Auto Center in Altamonte Springs has gone on for far too long now. We are ready to walk away from this business permanently!!! Thank you, Ann-Marie (Medina) Wilson Ref Inv# IN6427067

My mom went to sears today to get her tires checked... There is a slow leak that we have to constantly refill. She went to sears on 11/19/16 to get her tires checked and fixed. She dropped her car off and walked over to the mall. They told her 1 1/2 hours they would have an answer as to if she would have to replace her tire or get it patched. She came back 2 hours later to find out the diagnosis. They told her 1 more hour and she should have a diagnosis. She went to shop for 2 more hours... No call.. No nothing... She gets in there and they told her they were "behind". She literally waited for 4 hours when they told her 1 1/3 hours just for a diagnosis. I understand if your busy... But can you let your customers know so they arent waiting around? Is that too much to ask? Instead, she wasted 4 hours on her day off for something they told she would have an answer by in 1 1/2 hours. Horrible customer service. Horrible help. Horrible everything. As a person that works in the service industry.... When we are running behind, we atleast let the customer know so they arent waiting around and if they can simply get a ride to go home while you catch up on all your work. They promised her a first appointment on Tuesday the 22nd. Then said they "cant promise her first appointment" We are very confused and disappointed at sears at Altamonte mall, a place we been going to for over 10 years. Maybe new management or service? Either way... If we are not accommodated or get at least an apology I will make sure and do my part to make this place lose business. The industry I am in always has people looking for service work on their tires and car in general and I will be sure to tell them to never go to sears by Altamonte mall. This review will be taken down if our situation clears to our satisfaction.

To begin with manager Andrea and the service in general SUCKS, walk ins are welcome NOT. I took my car for a battery test and looking forward to replace my battery I bought at SEARs and was under warranty, since the dealer tested my battery (5min tops) on my last oil change and told me was no good. The associates to begin with the manager have such poor customer service skills, they can even quote how long you have to wait for a simple battery check, a couple hours? really was pretty fast when I bought the battery! When I tried to ask for a more specific timeframe the so called MANAGER Andrea actually SCREAMED at ME A COUPLE HOURS, DIDNT YOU HEAR?... I stood there in disbelief, if this was the MANAGER what could I expect from the rest of the associates, I wouldnt trust them my car for anything but I had no choice since unfortunately I had purchased the battery there. I had to wait 6HOURS for a battery replacement!! RIDICULOUS! When I finally left it was pretty clear they could not care less about loosing a Customer, yes because I will NEVER go there again. I felt disrespected and uncomfortable. Seriously SEARS these is the kind of people you have representing your company. Completely UNACCEPTABLE. If they dont care about the customers why would they care about your car. Prices are very competitive out there and the difference is the level and quality of service. Stay away from this place!!!

I have been a loyal customer to Sears Auto since I started driving. I have always taken my vehicles to their locations for anything I needed done that was not major work. This location has ruined Sears Auto Center for me. Last year I had a tune up done on one of my vehicles and when I got it back it ran worse than when it went in. They told me that it was because leaks in the exhaust system...well after exhaust work and 2 shops later it turned out to be the air intake gaskets which were visibly bad when I changed them. They should have caught that at the time the air intake was removed to change the back three spark plugs and informed me then. Today I waited 30 minutes for them to finish an estimate for a water pump that had been sitting on their desk for who knows how long as other customers walking in the door after me got helped. They may be friendly here but they are always severely understaffed and can not guarantee repairs to be done in a timely manner.

I called and made an appointment to replace my Sears battery ( had to be jumped just to get there). My appt was for 11am, I got there at 1040. Andrea was very busy but professional. She told me 1.5-2 hours, the print out promised me the vehicle would be ready at 1pm so I left and went to the mall. When I returned at 1:15 my car had not even been touched!! There were 4 people in line and the phone was ringing off the hook!! Andrea had NO help, was a bit tense but very professional. I was very upset!! The mechanic picked up my car I waited another hour and left at 2:15 with new battery. This is no way to run a business and I will not return.
