I have stopped by several times as a walk-in for a hair trim, but was turned away because there was never a hairdresser available. I recently decided to go from black coloured hair to blonde. Deciding to try Che Bella (simply because I have never been there) proved to be a mistake. In retrospect I wish that the hairdresser was not available! - Session one. My hair was bleached, with full highlights and toned. Cost: 240 (with tip). Result: Minimal - I had orange highlights, but the majority of my hair was still black. - Session two. My hair was coloured, bleached, and toned. Cost: 160 (with tip). Result: Minimal - I had black hair with some light reddish/orange tones. However... still mostly black. Also had 3 enormous colour stains on my shirt... The hairdresser is extremely kind, and tries to be helpful, but it is clear that she is not experienced or knowledgeable enough on hair colouring. The only reason that I decided to return for a second treatment was because of hope: hope is a thing with feathers. After $400 my hair is still mostly black. That is unacceptable. I shall not be returning, and would not recommend this salon. It is overpriced and the staff appears to be inexperienced.

I recently visited Che Bella Salon because I thought they were an Aveda salon. My mistake tho, they USED to be and now only sell some Aveda products. This salon was voted the best of Lakewood Ranch and I was dissapointed in the appearance. The place just looked disheveled, although the spa area was very clean and nice. The sytlists areas were just overrun with mess and one stylist looked as tho she had just woken up and threw her ratty wet hair in a ponytail. My stylist was very nice but VERY inexperienced. I simply asked for 3 inches cut off my long hair but it turned into a 3 hour hair cutting frenzy. I believe that my stylist kept messing up in her quest for a perfect shape and had to keep recutting to make it even. I tried to stop her as I made it clear I did not want any more hair cut. About 6 or 7 inches later, my hair was up to my shoulders. Overall, I was very upset with the inexperience of the stylist, the poor time-management, and cleanliness of the salon.

Very bad experience, first time going there. I went to touch up color in my roots and blow dry. the lady that did my color was Jessica. I have gone to other Aveda salons and I always get a great wash and massage on my head. This was just a wash and I asked her to please wash my hair twice because I did not feel she washed all the color out. She washed twice and that was it.. Then when she started blow drying my hair she was just drying with the blower, used a small round brush at times and used a square brush. The small part of my hair that she tried to blow dry was all frizzy. She kept telling me that I needed to flat iron my hair. Of course because she does not know how to blow dry... very upset I had to pay 65 dollars for a touch up to my roots. Left with my hair wet, had to go to another salon to get my hair blow dried. The lady in the front did not even offer any discount since I was leaving with my hair wet... very upset and disappointed.

GREAT PROFESSIONAL SALON: I have been a client for well over a year and there is no better place to relax. No matter the services you require, from the greeting at the door, to the spotless work areas, to the actual individual providing the service there is not a better professional group in the area. I have my hair cut and colored every 4 weeks, I have on occassion had my eyebrows done and had a free facial and nail work. Not one person in this salon does not care about their clients, nor have I ever seen unprofessionalism. So the "Unknown Named" person posting negative reviews either was at the wrong Salon or was blind! LOVIN MY HAIR EVERY TIME!!!!!

After relocating from another state, I was very anxious in selecting a salon, especially since I have an unusual platinum hair color. The new owners were very reassuring and linked me to an exceptional stylist, Mary, who did a fabulous job for this very nervous and picky customer. Then after the salon went to Aveda, they again worked with me to find the same coloring and I was extremely pleased. The salon is clean, professional, and welcoming. The owners are new to the salon but have brought with them a varied background, which has brought the salon to a higher level. Would definitely recommend them.

I was a walk in a few months ago and was fortunate to meet Liz. Liz is very talented and gave me a wonderful short haircut. I explained what I was looking for and within minutes Liz searched her phone and showed me a few pix and made sure of what I wanted. It came out beautiful! My friends, family, neighbors and people I dont know are constantly complimenting the new do! The salon is clean, the young ladies are friendly and professional. It was also fun to pick out a free product because I recommended a friend and will continue to recommend Liz to anyone who asks where I got the fabulous haircut!

I use to receive regular facials here that were amazing but after bad managment and awful hairstylist Ive had to switch to another local spa. This salon is not ran correctly; the stylist are constantly going outside to smoke in the middle of their services & when they come back they smell. The male stylist is a joke. I asked to speak with a manager/owner my last visit but they were not available I asked when would the owner be in and the male stylist told me whenever she feels like showing up...nice!

I have been to this salon a few times and each time the stylist I had last is no longer working there (wonder why..) I personally know one of the girls that works there and I must say I have more talent in my little finger than she does in her entirety when it comes to hair and skin care. I have also tried, on several occasions to contact the owner and she never returns my calls, I must say she is bar far the most unprofessional person at Che Bella and her staff falls right behind her.

I came in to Che Bella as a new customer to the area and received a Brazilian Blowout treatment, a facial, massage and pedicure. My hair has never been to smooth and strait and way more manageable. My massage and facial were so relaxing and I didn’t want to get up! My pedicure was one of the best I have ever had! The staff was sweet and just genuinely nice. I will be making Che Bella my go to place. The owner was so nice and friendly! Thank you Che Bella!!!

My wife and I have been going to Che Bella for the past two years and it is the only place we would go to. The management, owners are incredibly cordial, welcoming, and professional as is their staff. We absolutely love it there, and will not consider going to any of the surrounding salons, which there are plenty. Bottom line, they stand head and shoulders above them all. You will not be disappointed in your experience.
