Joe left me in limbo for 5 weeks only to find out that this company could not match my shingles. Why this company would pull a permit knowing this, is beyond me. Let me ask the audience this, would you want different color shingles on your roof? Even more, Joe tells me that I need to call my builder and see if i can find what manufacture my shingles are, seems easy right, nope. I know nothing about shingles and Joe offered no other alternative but to research or sign a statement stating that I agree that the shingle will not match my roof. Why, because the contract states that the shingle will match or be "as close as possible". Funny, what constitutes "as close as possible", and why the hell am I even losing time on this too, when Joe and his "30 of experience" could have been upfront 5 weeks ago by telling me that he could not match my shingles. You have to let your customers know whats going on, this is the heart of being a trusted business with your community. You also have to be a man of your word Joe, if you provided no other avenue to match my shingle why would you in turn place that burden on your customer who is already experiencing the leak. As a former member of the United States Air Force the essence of providing excellence in service is crucial. All I ask is that Joe step back and analyze this situation to see if you really did do all you could, to match my shingles. If the answer is no, then look past the blindness of a contract and provide result that matter to people who put their trust and money in your hands. Look at all your 5 stars Joe, those jobs perhaps were ones where the situation was typical, but when situations arise in your profession that call for additional "work" then step up and rise to the occasion just as you did with those 5 star ratings. Just do a better job Joe, dont let the matching of a shingle trump your 30 years of experience.

This is positive review, understand things happen everyday and owners typically do not care about issues like this. Handyman Roofing followed through and made things right. On midday July 15th, 2013 I was driving westbound on Tampa Rd / 580 just before Curlew turn. One of Handyman Roofing dump truck was cruising along about 100 or so feet in front of me. The truck did not have the tarp on the back of truck that covers its debris and roof tear materials. Unfortunately a brick or roofing tile bounced out and hit my driver side window, which came as a surprise as it shattered the window. Luckily the window tint prevented it from coming threw the window into the car. Mad and irritate I sped up to the driver of the truck and wrote down the phone number on the side. I pulled over to inspect damage and called office and left a message with the receptionist. Within one hour I got call back from Joe the Manager and was instructed a gentleman from a professional window company would call me to schedule a repair at no cost me. Unfortunately my vehicle could only have the dealer do the repair as the need for airbag removal / clear computer airbag code and warranty issues. So I had the repairs done at the dealer so the car was drivable once again. After learning this info Joe the manager sent me a check for the repair and I couldnt be happier. Joe made it right and you dont hear of owners or manager making right anymore. Thank you Joe and your staff for handling this matter quickly and professionally.

I had a platinum lifetime roof installed by Handyman Roofing on 6-18-2014. Sometime in the first week of August 2017 I noticed the first leak on the ceiling of my garage approximately a foot and a half in diameter. I called Joe. He sent repairman on 8-8-17. Since the first repairman came out there has been three different repairmen, one being a supervisor. I now have three leaks that still exist. All repairmen and supervisor reported back to Joe the issues of the roof including that the ridge vent was installed improperly. I followed up with Joe a week prior to the hurricane to find out what his intentions were on fixing the roof. His response was that he would be out personally after the hurricane had passed to access the problems. I was worried the entire time the hurricane was here due to inferior installation of the roof. Joe has yet to return any of my calls. I now have four leaks in my roof and still no shows from Joe. I find his manner to a customer who paid $20,000 for a roof unacceptable. On 9-12-2017 I called Owens Corning who guarantees the platinum life time roof and informed them of the issues I was having with the contractor and they gave me a claim number and a list of contractors that do platinum work being I was unable to get Joe with Handyman to repair the roof. I would not recommend this type of inferior work and lack of customer service from the owner (Joe) to anyone. Stay away from this company if you want follow-up service.

I called to get my roof check after hurricane Irma to see if theres any damage and get an estimate. The lady who answered/scheduled my appointment was very polite. However, when the "handyman" showed up, he said they do not do inspection. Then, he went on and said they charge $300 for inspection. He also asked me if I have a leak? How would I know? I told him again what I told the lady on the phone was to get an estimate. "You need to check it yourself," he said. Wow, very professional and customer-oriented. Thanks for wasting my time.

Couldnt be happier with the service!! Handyman Roofing was very flexible with the appointment time, went over the whole estimate and made me feel comfortable picking them. I am very pleased with the work and communication I received throughout the whole process of getting my new roof. I would highly recommend them for all roofing needs!

Handyman did an outstanding job installing a beautiful tile roof on our Clearwater home. They also replaced the flat roof, two skylights and the chimney frame. Everything was done on time and the price was great. We are 100% satisfied with everything they did.

We had a roof leak and they came for an estimate.Turned out the 25+ year roof had many leaks. They were able to do the whole job in the very limited time frame we had before going out of town. The crews came early and worked late and they did a fantastic job.

I scheduled an appointment for an estimate the company never showed or called. I called them and they rebooked me for a new appointment. Again they never called or showed. If you value your time dont do business with this company.
