I brought my 2012 Lexus ES 350 to Smalleys to get front tires replaced due to the tire light coming on while I was in the area. The front left tire was low but not flat or non-drivable. The tires were placed by a Spanish gentleman and I was helped by a tall black gentleman. When I drove off after the tire change completion and got to the Main Street, I noticed the light hadnt gone off. So, I returned to Smalleys to get it checked and was told it should go off after a mile. It didnt but I was returning to on a long ride home. The light remained on. I went to a car dealership I frequently get maintenance from to get service and to get the light checked there. They wrote on my service papers that the tire pressure sensor had been damaged when the two front tires were placed. I have the papers with this typed in there. I called Smallleys seeking to explain the situation and to set a date I could come back to the shop for them to check it and fix it if possible. I was being told by the women employee that I need to look in my manual to reset it and that it may not be damaged. After a conversation of which I did not become combative nor angry (I have a soft voice also so I wasnt talking in a threatening manner; but the manager got defensive and said there were other clients there and she didnt have time to deal with this) I only wanted to figure out a solution; the manager hung up on me. I called back to get her name and a male with an accent asked me if I were "stupid", if I were "a pervert", and if I were a "damn fool". I told him no I was a previous client.

I purchased a used tire from this place onJuly 17, and I realized a week or so later that the tire was slightly deflated. I assumed that maybe the mechanic did not put enough air in it, so I went and filled the tire back up. Two/three weeks later the tire was significantly deflated; indicating a slow/steady air leak. I finally realized that the tire was defective, so I went to the shop in an attempt to have it exchanged. Upon arriving at the shop, the same mechanic who helped me the first time was present. I explained to him the situation, but he indicated that I need to purchase a new tire because there is only a ten day warranty on used tires. I was flabbergasted at his response, especially since no one explained to me the warranty on used tires. I explained this to him, and he pointed to a ten day warranty sign in an obscured part of the shop. Want to get another kick of the story? Youre not even allowed to be inside the shop where the mechanics are working, and thats where this sign was located. Anyway, this is not the point. The point is; slow leaks sometimes do not show up right away. This 10 day warranty is a joke, just like their poor customer service. This is a warning to anyone, DO NOT BUY tires from this place. This is the first review I have ever written on a business, so it took a lot (on their part) to piss me off.

I would recommend Smalleys for honest auto repair services in Fort Lauderdale. The repair shop seems to be family operated and the staff is helpful, informative and transparent. Ansel was extremely helpful in helping resolve my cars heating issue and ran an in-depth assessment that was more detailed and accurate than any audit from Advanced Auto Parts or another similar store. When I needed additional electrical work Ansel recommend another shop, McInnis Auto Repair Shop thats less than 5 miles away. I will definitely come here for my auto repair.

I bought a used tire out of necessity from these guys and they sold me a bad tire that bubbled up 3 days later. Not knowing if it was that tire or another bad on the other side, I gave it a chance. After going to my guys, I found the problem was the tire they sold me. Went back to speak with management and was treated as if I was asking for an eye ball from their face. These guys are rude and dont admit to their mistakes. Dont ever get service from these guys!

Quick, knowledgable an experienced..very friendly staff and most of all very competitive prices !! I brought my gmc truck because the steering wheel was shaking uncontrollable and they found the problem immediately and fixed it with expedience.!! They approach you ass soon as you come in and start work immediately !! No appointment needed !!

This place was awesome. I rolled into the place on an almost complete flat tire with a metal piece sticking out of it. I was going to purchase new tires, but unfortunately they didnt have my size, but I needed to get going. They patched me up and let me go in about 30 minutes. It was supreme service and quick to boot!

I pass this place going to and from work. I tried seceral places on sunday to get tires and later found out most places are closed on sunday. Not these guys. I took my Jeep wrangler to have large tires installed. These guys (Mike and Ezekiel) are great, smart, nice and knowledge. I will be back.
