FIRST I WANT TO START OUT BY SAYING THE STORE MANGER ( MICHAEL), TIRE MANAGER(ARSENIO aka JR), AND MECHANICS NEED TO BE FIRED!!!!!! THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THERE DOING.... THERE UNPROFESSIONAL AND THERE BIG LIARS...... THIS 163 NORTH MIAMI FIRESTONE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN..... PLEASE PEOPLE DONT GO HERE. YOULL WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.... THERES BETTER PLACES OUT HERE. I TOOK MY CAR IN ON OCT 9, 2010, BECAUSE MY PEDAL WAS GOING DOWN TO THE FLOOR. THE "SO CALLED MECHANIC AND MANAGER OF TIRES(ARSENIO aka JR.)" TOLD ME I NEED A NEW MASTERCYLINDER, AND THAT HE WOULD ORDER THE PART AND CALL ME THAT MONDAY OR TUESDAY WHEN IT CAME IN. SO MONDAY OCT 11, 2010 COMES BY AND I DONT HEAR FROM JR, SO I CALLED AND ASKED HIM DID THE MASTER CYLINDER COME IN. HE TOLD ME YES, BRING THE CAR IN. I GOT THERE AT 12:00 NOON AND AT 4PM JR. (THE MANAGER) COMES OVER TO ME AND TELLS ME THE MECHANIC IS BLEEDING THE SYSTEM AND HE SHOULD BE DONE SOON. SO THEN AT 7PM THE STORE MANAGER( MICHAEL) TELLS ME THE BRAND NEW MASTER CYLINDER THEY ORDER WAS BAD. HE SAID THERE GOING TO PUT MY OLD MASTER CYLINDER BACK IN THE CAR AND TO BRING IT BACK THE NEXT DAY. THEN THE MECHANIC CAME UP TO ME AND TELLS ME I HAVE NO BREAKS AT ALL AND TO DRIVE VERY SLOW.... AT THIS POINT I WAS VERY UPSET.... THEN THE STORE MANAGER COMES BACK TO ME AND TELLS ME I CANT TAKE THE CAR AND IT HAS TO STAY HERE AND THEY WILL REORDER ANOTHER PART ON TUESDAY. SO I FIND A RIDE BACK HOME AND THE NEXT DAY OCT 12, 2010 I CALLED AND ASKED IF THE PIECE CAME IN FOR MY CAR.... THEY SAID YES AND I WENT BACK DOWN TO THE SHOP FOR THEM TO TELL ME THAT THE SECOND MASTER CYLINDER WAS ALSO BAD....HE THEN TELLS ME THEY ORDERED ANOTHER MASTER CYLINDER AND IT WONT BE IN UNTIL THURSDAY.... SO I I HAD TO ONCE AGAIN FIND A RIDE TO SCHOOL, HOME AND WORK. I CALLED ON WEDNESDAY OCT13 2010 TO SEE IF THEY WAS ABLE TO GET THE PART SOONER, BUT THE GUY SAID NO AND IT WOULD BE THERE THURSDAY. SO ON THURSDAY OCT 14 2010 I WENT DOWN TO THE SHOP FOR THEM TO TELL ME THAT THEY WAS UNABLE TO FIX MY CAR...... SO BASICALLLY I BROUGHT MY CAR IN ON MONDAY AND IT STAYED WITH THEM UNTIL THURSDAY AND NOTHING GOT FIXED...... AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY MESSED UP MY CAR..... THIS FIRESTONE ON 163 IN NORTH MIAMI BEACH REALLY NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN.... HOW YOU GOING TO BE A MECHANIC AND CANT GET THE JOB DONE...... NOOOOO ONE KNEW WHAT THEY WAS DOING AND BECAUSE OF THAT... THEY DAMAGED MY CAR . I TOOK IT TO A DIFFERENT SHOP AND THEY GOT THE JOB DONE THAT FIRESTONE PEOPLE ON 163RD STREET IN NORTH MIAMI BEACH COULDNT DO. AND THAT IS SOOOOOO SAD........ PEOPLE IM LETTING YOU KNOW ABOUT MY EXPERIENCE BECAUSE I CARE... PLEASE DO NOT AND I REAPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARTO THESE PATHETIC WANT TO BE MACHANICS.... I WILL NEVER BE COMING TO FIRESTONE EVER AGAIN

2 Times I had major issues with Firestone, 1 I called up to change my flat tire, and asked if he had the same one in stock. Tony said he did not but said he has a comparable tire. I said is that typical not to get the same exact tire. He said yes giving me a whole story about if i was in the middle of nowhere and needed a new tire would I get a different one that was comparable. I am not in middle of nowhere, I am in Miami! After doing some research, I found out that you only want to do that as a last resort when you can not find the same exact tire. Not when you are only changing one tire and the other three are brand knew. Different tread equals less traction and control. Tony mislead me to try to get my business. Thank God I double checked and got the same exact tire somewhere else much cheaper. 2 After the first incident I should have known, but I figured how can they mess me over on a oil change? First thing the representative said to my wife, after she was waiting twenty minutes to speak to somebody, was "I do not have any time for you today". After she explained that we had an appointment he was semi willing to help, but with an attitude which he only toned down slightly when he saw that I was with her. We had a coupon for an oil change with free wiper blades. He would not honor the coupon and lied to our face about what it said. First he tried talking us out of getting wiper blades that we did not need it. Next he said the coupon was, "buy one get one 50% off" when it clearly said "pair of free wiper blades". Very big difference! After that, he tried convincing us to get a synthetic oil change, when my manual says conventional oil and does not require synthetic oil. The guy kept lying to us. It is funny because the store has all these certificates and trophys of excellence, yet they are all meaningless. When I saw the so-so reviews on here, I was on the fence about going, I should have listened! I would have saved myself time and not have to dealt with sleazy people. I will never be contacting or going to a Firestone complete auto care store again!

From the moment I walked into the store there was only only one person to assist us. Then about 30 minutes later I was addressed and not welcomed into the store. He seemed like he understood the situation I was in because I had just bought my car from an individual seller but it had a few things to be fixed. He said that I should start with a Complete Vehicle Inspection for $23.53. He said it would take a while so I went across the street to check out local stores. He called me when he had finished the Inspection and said that I had not a few issues but a lot of issues. I understand that this can happen but I did not appreciate the way I was informed. I honestly feel that since I was a woman that my prices were higher for no reason. After expressing my issue with him he lowered the $560 projected costs to $501 for all the things I need to get done with my vehicle. He told me that I could not find these great prices anywhere else but there are stores down every block that offer the services I need at a lower price and still receive a great number of satisfaction. I would not recommend for my friends or family to go here because I felt he was untrustworthy. I dont understand how he can cut charges from the projected costs just because I told him that this was not the best price. He was basically adding discounts from that point on to please me with the price but I feel that he should have done that from the beginning. Then as I thanked him for at least letting me know what is wrong with my vehicle and was ready to go he tried to tell me that there was financing options. I was furious at this point and did not want to be apart of whatever game he was apart of.

The worst experience I have ever had! No one cares! If you are a woman PLEASE dont go here!!! AL will use his smooth talking voice and scare tactics to scare you into getting work done. The "area manager" doesnt return calls. Corporate gives you bs answers like someone will contact you in 24 hrs and guess what 24hrs will pass with no call! Car is in worst condition than when I took it in. I was left stranded. They do not even bother to test drive cars. They are quick to offer you a credit card so they can charge you a bunch of money for half assed work. I went in to have a single hose changed and now my whole power steering is gone. The one positive I can say is the store manager Clausel is nice but being nice doesnt fix my problem...especially if he is on vacation. I have been dealing with a broken car for over a week now and corporate expects me to be patient and wait until this "area manager" decides to do his job and call me back! Thanks firestone for causing a single mother with small children financial hardship and stress of transporting children in a car with no power steering. Also thanks for excruciating back, shoulder and rib pain from trying to get my car home since you could not even provide a tow truck! I have never in my life experienced such a terrible experience. Save yourself the headache you are better off getting your car repaired by a back yard mechanic!
