Hopefully this review will help another customer. This was one of the worst experiences Ive had as a paying customer. I chose this company because of the good online reviews and I also wanted to support a smaller company. The price from this company was comparable to 2 others and I received great customer service from, Marc, a sales associate. Marc, as professional and courteous as he was, does not make-up for the rest of my frustrating experience. Reasons for 1 star: 1) I was originally quoted $3167 for moving 1 bedroom with king bed, kitchen and living room from FL to CA. On the day of pick-up, I was charged an additional $1428 for fuel surcharge, packing 2 TVs that were listed on my original quote, packing artificial plants and picture canvases that were listed, cost of packing material, and additional estimated weight of items. 2) The delivery was supposed to be within 15 business days from the pick-up date, but it took 21 business days. Our items were picked up on July 1 in FL and delivered on Aug 1 in CA. The longer time period wouldve been understandable if they had been straightforward about the estimated time from the beginning. 3) When I called on Fri July 8 to ask for an estimated delivery date, I was told by the owner, Michael Harrison, that it would be the following weekend. I was called on Fri July 15 by customer service supervisor, Robin, and told that my items hadnt even left FL yet and wouldnt be dispatched until Mon July 18. 4) I emailed Michael, the owner, to ask why I was misinformed by him the previous week and wanted to know the reasons for the delivery delay. He called me back, denying talking to me last week, yelling at me that he didnt like my complaints and hung-up on me. Later he sent an email saying, "if you had a full truck load then it would be a little easier to predict these dates and times but when your a smaller load and your sharing the ride hence lower prices you accept the flexibility in pick and deliveries that is what moving across the country entails if you wanted specific dates and times then you would have paid a full price situation which is far different than what your paying." Being that he is the owner, there was no one else to report his unprofessional behavior. Keep this in mind, if there is an issue with your delivery that Robin, the customer service supervisor cant resolve, then you will be dealing with an owner who can be volatile with his own paying customers. 5) When the truck finally arrived in CA, there was only 1 driver/mover. They called another contracted mover to help with the delivery, but no one showed up. Its concerning that the owner is ok with allowing only 1 driver to make a cross-country trip with multiple deliveries. It was already 6pm and the driver said he was late for another delivery after ours, so my husband and I decided to help unload the truck to expedite the process and ensure everything made it safely. Even after helping, the owner insisted we pay $75 for the elevator fee. They were informed of the elevator since the beginning and the cost shouldve been included in the original quote. 6) Damaged items: large cracks and chips in 2 kitchen chairs, TV stand with chip, 2 bed boards with chips, 1 nightstand with large chip. Our $350 printer has internal damage and no longer works. We called Brother printer customer service and they were unable to fix it, they said it was most likely from the moving process that jarred the internal hardware. 7) I was never given a straightforward explanation for why my delivery was late. The owner and Robin will tell you delays are from DOT inspections, road closures, etc. My things were picked up on July 1, but they didnt leave FL till July 20. The owner was most likely waiting for other cross-country deliveries to fill the truck in order maximize his profits. Update 11/16: Only got $64 from my claim and now I cant even deposit the settlement check because their account has insufficient funds! They are the most unprofessional company Ive had to deal with, one of the worst choices Ive ever made!

Overall a horrible experience. Moved from VA to FL. QA call that shouldve happened 4 days prior actually took place the day before the move. The driver calls me at 4pm, 4 days prior to the window to tell me he would be there the following morning to pick up move. I agreed to be ready to be helpful and yet they still manage to provide poor customer service. They left 2 pieces behind and also wanted more money than the contract. The contract states that you can use a personal check for pickup however final payment must be cash - well they wanted only cash. Also they had no tape to wrap blankets so I had to go buy some because they only has a credit card...how can you run out of tape ????? 4 days later I get a text saying delivery would not happen on Wednesday but instead Saturday ..I rearrange everyones schedule to Saturday, to then get a text on Thursday at 135 A.M. saying the pickup would happen later on that day. When I escalated the calls to the original company that sent the contract they had nothing to say ...no returned calls, no emails... all I got was the dispatchers name and number. When I called and ask why they would go back and forth on the date he said, in a very unprofessional manner, "listen you either have someone there to meet the delivery or Ill put your stuff in storage in FLL and you can pay $250 a day to get it out!!!! Horrible service!!!

The worst experience ever, please never use them, they are very dishonest people and James who claims that he the Manager was very rude, On July 2016 I used them to move my two bedroom apartment from Miami to Atlanta to a town home, I listed all the items that I wanted to move and was given a quote of about $2200.00 . On the day of the move , they were late and sluggish , didnt not have enough blanket or tapes, they came unprepared. The following day James called to ask for about $1000 extra, stating that I had bulk items which is the bunk bed and treadmill and I had to pay for the extra time that people spent at my place moving . I clearly listed my furniture initially and if they had any issues with my bunk bed and treadmill or stairs ,they should have said something from the start and I will look for another moving company. Once them had your items, the start to exploit you , they charged extra to dismantle large items and they charge extra to put them back, they charged extra for the stairs , they charged extra for time their sluggish movers. I paid way over $3000.00 to receive my furniture. Will never use them and I will not recommend them if you are planning on moving

I recently used this moving company to assist me with my move from Ft. Lauderdale to New York, they gave me accurate moving dates, always kept me up to date, were on time, professional and when it came time for drop off their crew reassembled all my furniture. Hell they even helped me rearrange my home. The pricing was very fair, and their skill level exceeded what I paid for in my opinion. Id highly recommend them, to anyone looking to move across state lines; their name says it all!
