Went into this with high hopes; having had multiple people contact me to gain my business after I first reached out for a quote. Rates were discussed and at this point a 10% discount was even offered if I paid cash. We booked them for a Saturday and on Friday a confirmation call was made, everything was professional and things seemed great. Being that this was an hourly rate type company I took it upon myself to dismantle and tear down everything I could to save time. Our move consisted of 2 queen beds, 3 dressers, 2 couches, 1 book shelf and an entertainment center. We moved all boxes, clothing, and kitchenware. The day of the move the two man team showed up on time and then began the longest 6 hours I have ever spent. Undoubtedly the team moved the furniture with great precision with very little damage, but at a very slow speed. It took these two men the same amount of time to move the furniture we had that we were quoted by another bigger company to pack everything and move. We thought we were being money savy but not only was the time longer than expected we were charged for incidental materials that had not been previously discussed, shrink wrap($40 a roll) and tape ($4 a roll). On top of all this, we left the apartment at the same time as the mover and what took us 12 minutes travel time to get to the house took the movers 50 minutes. No need to remind anyone this was an hourly job. When this was brought up to the head mover he took extreme offense to my displeasure argued with me regarding the discount and talked over me when I tried to express my point of view. I have reached out 2x to the saleman (Kevin) and gotten no response. At this point I have already turned away one potential client and will certainly continue to do the same to those that ask. Use this company at your own risk.
