Mortgage One

We purchased our home in March of 2016 & West Coast was the current provider for the R/O system, so we continued to use them. It wasnt long before we started having problems. It started with a busted pipe that we had to call for an after hours service call to repair to have water. This was a result of the membrane that was completely shot, of which the replacement was included in our monthly service. We requested this be repaired, but the company wanted to replace several other things along with it & we kindly asked for this to just be replaced (the items they were trying to add on had nothing to do with the functionality of the membrane). They then raised the monthly $10 a month, which we continued to pay while waiting for them to replace the membrane. Then we had another item bust. We called them for repair and they tried to charge double what they were supposed to, as a monthly customer you were not supposed to get charged a premium for an after hours service call. Water went out again, we called for repair. This time it was a lizard in an electrical box that the tech simply removed and left after 5 minutes & they still charged us for the after hour service call. All the while still never replacing the membrane that was included in our monthly bill. My fiance called several times asking for to speak with the owner as the manager is useless, and never received a call back. I also called and discussed our issues each time I called to pay the monthly bill, even though we were disputing the service charges. They then called 3 weeks ago and said they were terminating our service due to the unpaid service calls. No call from owner, no courtesy or customer service, nothing. We came back from our honeymoon 2 weeks later to find our pipe busted again, called another reputable company to come out. They confirmed pipe busted again on account of the shot membrane, and used the term "ghetto rigged" regarding the previous pipe repair done by West Coast. So, the negligence of West Coast no replacing the membrane as specified as an inclusion in our monthly service, which we never stopped paying in light of the other over charged disputes, resulted in $137 to properly repair the pipe and $750 to replace the membrane that they were ultimately responsible to replace months ago. I would steer clear away from this company. They have affirmed that they have "cut ties" with us and that they dont care if we file a complaint as they are not a member of the BBB.

I just recently purchased a house and was nervous about which company to choose as I have heard some bad stories from people I work with. Brian came to my house, tested my water, and told me what needed to be done. No sales gommicks, no run arounds. I have since purchased a new filtration system for my well from West Coast Plumbing that not only came in under others estimates but works spectacularly; no smell, clean taste, perfect. These guys do it all too, I am having my entire house repipe with them soon to replace all the old poly lines that are now out of code. My hot water heater also popped as soon as I left the house yesterday morning. Brian had someone out that day and I had a hot shower when I got home that evening. Very clean, professional, and personable crew that is always welcome in my house. Bottom line: if you need an honest and trustworthy plumber in the area you cant go wrong with these guys. This is for an investment property we have in Cape Coral. They replaced the hot water tank, after a call from my property manager, who improperly authorized the work... which is not their issue. However, they did an extremely poor/unacceptable job, possibly knowing that the work would not be inspected and approved by myself before they were paid. We are out of state investors, and have hope contractors actually perform quality work. Work was done, that per code, requires a permit to be pulled, and then inspected by the city. They failed to pull the permit even. After reviewing the work, called an spoke to the manager there, who refused to accept ownership, and address the issue. On initial contact, she requested photos and summary to be emailed to her, and she would review and callback next day. After one week, I called back, and was stonewalled by the same manager.

We called West Cost Plumbing on a Sunday for a leak in our building. We were greatly impressed with the fast, courteous service, and the charges for an emergency service on a Sunday no less! Technician Dennis was great. We had additional issues the next day, Brian Mc was here in record time, assessed addtional issues in our building in the course of a few hours and half a day later (5:30a-11:30a), we had 3 new water heaters installed with difficult access! The professionalism, knowledge, and courteousness of West Coast Plumbing is above all the rest. We will recommend them to ANYONE we know with professional plumbing needs.

Our water was always yellowish brown, we decided to call Brian he came out tested our water told us what the problem was (iron and tannin). Brian recommended an experimental new water system and told be that if it didnt work he would charge me the difference and install the two tank system they normally install. needless to say Brian was dead on with his assessment the new system works great, clear beautiful water. its been 6 months now and water is still crystal clear. best price (especially over kintico) and great service. 5 stars only because i cant give them 10.
